If you are just starting out, you will need to brand yourself. If you have a website get your web address out there, use the SFI business cards, xCards, etc. Do not expect fast results to start. Branding yourself as a person in the SFI business will take time. You need to establish your presence as an authority and expert in your social group, online, or any other avenues you have chosen.
Some great ways to "establish" your brand:
Write articles and submit them to appropriate services.
Write a personal blog and try to post a relevant article weekly.
Paid advertising.
Social Media - This is a great way to attract people. Develop fun pages for your friends to "like" and share.
Personally, I think the best thing anyone can so is be themselves and honest. Others can sense when someone is being fake. Show sincerity and smile. These 2 attributes will attract more people to your business faster than any method.
