Using or not using auto responders in your SFI business is up to you. SFI urges us to never use any for our SFI business but I think they said that because most people don’t know how to use one. Auto responders can cause more harm than good to your business if you don’t understand how it works or how to use it. I will not condemn it because many people don’t have time to compose daily/weekly messages. I personally hate too much blast from auto responder so know how you use it. There are many eBooks at TripleClicks that you can read, learn and become an auto responder master very quickly.
Want to use the auto responder? No problem but I personally advice that you use it lightly like blasting about just 2 to 4 times a month and for some kinds of messages.
Messages that should be sent via the auto responder should be monthly tips and hints to all team affiliates while other personal messages need to be sent and answered personally.
Even with the entire above, auto responder is not the way to go in building your SFI business! Messages are likely to end up in spam unless the subscriber is double opt in which isn’t easy to accomplish. If you have the time, refrain from that too and use the SFI only Mailer. The SFI mailing system is no doubt 100% legit. All messages get to inbox and showing that they are from SFI makes it even more irresistible.
