Good question! I read this quote before "He who aims at nothing will hit it" So goal is important. This is one question that we answered when we sign up for SFI. But that was about our long term goals.
Now the question is for this year 2013. Different affiliates are on different stages of their SFI business so the goal may differ. But generally there are stages here at SFI.
1) Stage 1 - Learning while earning a little.
The goal here will be to understand SFI business model and the success factors.
2) Stage 2 - building your foundation.
The goal here is to recruit massive affiliates. Which is the foundation of your business.
3) Stage 3 - Building the structures.
The goal here is to assist people in your organization to get established while you continue with stage 2. You also explore other possible income streams like ECA Pricebenders and others.
4) Stage 4 - Mentoring and maintaining.
The goal here is Mentoring the hard working people in your organization and maintaining what you are doing in stage 2 and 3 probably in lower intensity.
You can make detailed plans out of these different stages. And sometimes this may not be linear but rather overlapping and parallel depending on your capacity and skills
