Having been in network marketing for many years. I can say for sure that this is a great market to tap, but you really won't be believable to them unless YOU are personally doing well with SFI.

The issue is they are wise to the pitches. They've heard dozens of great promises, and every company has it's own story about why it is different and better.

If you can "show them the money", not just talk about it, they may be interested. Particularly so if they are not doing well with their present company.

My advise is to tread carefully. Get solidly grounded in SFI before you approach a current network marketer. Once you can demonstrate success, you may be in for a very pleasant surprise. Many of them have downlines or associates they may be able to bring with them.

Of course, if you ARE doing extremely well with SFI, have at them!

In an ideal world, it would be wonderful to individually welcome all of our affiliates!

In my case I have close to 400, few of whom read English. So I have to ask myself what value there is in sending a mass mailing that most of my downline will simply ignore because they can't read it.

I know they can use the nifty translator located on most pages, but at this point many don't know it is there. And, the translation are sometime very confusing, and alter the meaning of what I am trying to say.

I've given a lot of thought to this issue, and have developed a strategy that seems to be working well for me. It takes time to initiate, but I believe it will be worth it in the long run. Here is my procedure:

1) I sort affiliates by geography, taking note of their primary language. I then try to find one who is active, and working hard to do the program (as demonstrated by earned VersaPoints). Some will have earned 500 to 600 or more VP in the first day if they are motivated.

2) Next I reassign every PSA I have from that region, who speaks the same language, to that hardworking affiliate. Now I really have that person's attention, and have given him or her a reason to stay active.

3) Finally, I use the translators available on the Internet to write an individual letter to that one leader explaining that I have entrusted them with some of my affiliates who speak their language. I ask for their help in working with these affiliates and helping them to understand and get excited about SFI.

4) I continue helping that leader to grow his or her business by giving them simple training using the translators available on the Internet. There are too many to list, but I usually start out with Google Translate (https://translate.google.com)and then re-translate it back to English so I can see if it makes sense. I edit, and continue this process until I have something that closely resembles what I want to say.

Using this process I only have to write welcome and training letters to one leader, whom I am building a wonderful working relationship with. It is left up to them to provide that information to their new downline, and to offer a sincere welcome to those I cannot communicate with effectively.

Of course, I SAVE all of my letters for future use! I also ask my leaders to correct my letters, and add anything they think is important. Eventually I will get a great set of correspondence to use in the future, without having to go through this process every time.

I'm not giving up anything, and stand to gain a lot by building up those I can directly help. Now I'm doing serious work with just a few leaders, and making a genuine contribution to their education and growth.

I believe this will build a loyal, ironclad front line organization spanning the globe. And isn't building a strong organization what the SFI plan is all about?


So for me the clear answer is not to send out group mailings, but to work with a few leaders who can better communicate with our mutual downline.
