In my experience affiliates respond best to contests where the prize is "PSAs added to your downline" - and the more PSAs you promise the better the response you will get.

The best way to evaluate traffic exchanges is to use a tracker. I personally use TEToolbox.com. It shows me what percentage of my TE Credits actually result in people taking action on my page.
How can I get more of my affiliates to upgrade to EA?

Offer your downline a REAL REWARD for accumulating VP. I suggest that you offer to reallocate a certain number of PSAs to their downline if they become EA - and if they renew their EA rank each month. Once I committed myself to this kind of rewards plan - and to recruiting enough PSAs each month to cover the rewards, my downline sprang into life! The key = RRR: RECRUIT and REWARD by REALLOCATING PSAs!
TripleClicks has over 50,000 products now. How do I determine which products are the best to promote?

When you search the Tripleclicks site for products to promote, make sure you are logged in and then look for the "SFI Affiliates" tab on the tab bar beneath the product description. Click it and check to see how much commission and VP you can earn if you promote that product. If you find a product that you like, which will earn you a nice commission and VP, then that would be a good product to promote.
Selling products is one of the best/fastest ways to earn money with SFI. What is the most effective way to generate product sales?

The most effective way to generate product sales on Tripleclicks (without going off the Tripleclicks/SFI sites to market) is (1) think about WHO is likely to buy from Tripleclicks... (2) now create something UNIQUE to cater to that market. (3) Offer it at a nice price... (4) offer one of your products as a "Hot Deal" to get more attention (5) reach out to other affiliates by COMMUNICATING - try a2a, also connect with other ECAs...

I use the blog on my LP to post news about my rewards program so that my downline can see who is on the list and what progress I am making in distributing my rewards.
Do you need to have your own website (if so, why) or are the Gateway websites provided by SFI adequate?

You do not "need" a website, but if you are serious about running your own business you definitely should have your own website. Why? Because with thousands of other people promoting SFI, you need to find a way to present a UNIQUE perspective... The best way to be UNIQUE on the Internet is to market YOURSELF as your main BRAND. For that, you need your own website. SFI will then be part of your unique brand and you will be able to direct people to your Gateway sites AFTER pre-selling them on the SFI deal AND on YOU as the best sponsor for them. Question: Why should anybody join SFI via your Gateway site if you have nothing else to offer? There are thousands of other SFI affiliates they could choose from. Make yourself UNIQUE and OFFER VALUE (via your own website) and start recruiting an SFI downline...

I have affiliates come to me for help who are not part of my team--should I help them or send them away?

Good question. Of course you should help them. People are not just "SFI affiliates" they are also "Internet marketers" and business people. As such, by helping them with SFI you will be building a relationship with them which may bear fruit later on. However, that should not be your main motivation; instead it should be to be of service to all who come your way.
