The way I measure my success is with a few Questions. 1. Did I learn something new this month that can help me ? 2. Did I earn all the VP that I could for this month? 3. Was I a good leader to my team this month? 4. Did I do more this month than last month to build my business?

Increasing my income is important to me but it is not my only measure of success. Success for me can be measured by all the things I do this month to improve my business. Did I work harder than I did the month

Who is the better demographic to target in my ads? Retired persons...or homemakers?

Targeting adverting to both group by making your ads reflect the things that are relevant to each group is good. I really don't think you should limit your advertising to just one group.

SFI appeals to the needs of all demographics whether it is college students looking for extra income for school expenses or retirees looking for extra income for vacations. To limit yourself to a certain demographic is limiting your income potential.

The best advise I can give you is to target

How do you learn to write effective ads if you have never written any ads before?

Put yourself in the place of the person you are trying to reach. What information would grab your attention and make you keep reading? How would this business benefit you.

Also think about ads that you have read and caught your attention. What was it about this ad that made you read it instead of just passing over it.

Incorporate these things into the ads you are writing.

Is it worthwhile to send individual welcome letters to new PSAs...or can I just send out group mailings?

I think that individual welcome letters or at least a welcome ecard is important. That first contact lets your team member know that he/she is important to you and shows you care. It also lets them know that you see them as an individual and not just a name on your downline.

I try to continue that individual attention by sending ecards to team members as needed to keep them encouraged, share a tip that will help them, or just to let them know I am available if they need me.

Is it wise to 'bribe' your downline with Gift Certificates, TCredits or other incentives? Or does this practice come back and bite you?

I don't think trying to bribe your downline is a good way to conduct your business. I offer contests where my downline can win Gift Certificates and TCredits as incentives and to keep them motivated and working towards goals. It's just a way to reward them and give them a little something extra for working so hard and being active team members.

It's also a way to let my team know that I care and am interested in their success. Sometimes just that little bit of investment can be encouraging

Don't lie . Be honest. Most people avoid ads that promise to make you thousands of dollars a week. I personally don't read the whole ad if it starts out with exaggerated claims.

Don't promise income with little or no effort. Building a team is work.

The best advise I can give you is to give them the benefits of SFI. Let them know that they can join for free, that free training in included.
That SFI is not a get rich quick scam and has a solid tract record. It is

If you could completely start over with SFI today, knowing what you know now, what would you do differently?

If I could completely start over with SFI knowing what I know now the first thing I would do was stick with and take it more seriously. I started out in 2007 and have made EA a few times. Sometimes it would be months before I even thought about it. I never really put forth a serious effect until this year.

I gave up to easily because I wasn't seeing the results I wanted. I didn't realize that it sometimes takes a few years to really begin turning a serious profit. I had listened to
