In addition to sea of answers you received, I wanted to add this:

Members of your team should understand that they work for company just like any other. We are employees BUT without boss, alarm clock, office and formal dressing code. Just like in any other company - salary is to be earned, in our case, luckily - by multiple means and in various ways, MONTHLY.

Otherwise, our titles could be earned once, and we could just do nothing - they will understand that nobody pays anyone to do practically nothing. But I must stress this: someone who wasn't qualified for EA in one month can transfer VPs in next month within 7 days! You shouldn't forget to inform your team about that.

Another cause is fairness - imagine how many points would have someone who is 3, 4 or more years or months in the business - how could anyone of fresh members compete with them?
That is also the answer to other question you'll likely to be asked - why VP disappear after 180 days. Be prepared for that, although it's clearly written on our Home pages.

So - in short, main thing is:
We receive monthly salary, so we must earn it monthly.
I am happy because I work for real corporate company, from home - that's main beauty of this job. I think when your team members understand that, everything will be more clear.

This question occupies me for a while, and, in my opinion, prospective ECA representer should be informed that SFI enables several additional marketing advantages for advertising ECAs products:

¤ Free advertising through thousands of SFI affiliates, their sites and blogs, specialised and targeting right audience.
Free online presentation of products, personalised ECA web address which means connection with the customers all over the world through serious and reliable online shopping site.

¤ Mutual interest with SFI affiliates which will choose his/her store over any other similar store, and similar products, because they have additional interest in building their own business (earning VP and MRP points).
Local customers, SFI affiliates, will also choose that particular ECA, even more so when shipping isn't an obstacle, and for consumable products - on regular basis. Nothing is more valuable for an entrepreneur that loyal customers.

¤ In an ideal situation prospective ECA representer would see interest in becoming SFI affiliate or in referring SFI affiliates and take advantage of both business endeavors.

Marketing research, obtaining and presenting numbers for each relevant factor, such as activity of SFI and TripleClicks members in the geo-economics areas, through infographics or PowerPoint presentation would add necessary professional note.
It's important to have promo-material which would be reminder for consideration of advantages of participation in ECA program.

Finally - there's nothing to lose in ECA program participation, except relatively small amount of time.

In my opinion, every active affiliate in my downline should have my full attention, PSAs and CSAs. Their work is our success, in every aspect. At least weekly letters should be sent to all. You never know what can activate someone or when. Of course if you realise that CSA is permanently inactive you don't want to waist your time persuading her or him personally on regular basis. Maybe, once in a while send group message about the new features or some great idea..But if they work, CSAs should have your full attention.

In the beginning, you are entitled to ask everything and anything. Sponsor must be your guide and a friend. But you have to listen, research and learn independently. If sponsor is a great one, he will be there for you always, but I have learned a lot from my PSAs also. They are the best I have pleasure to work with. Sponsor may make mistakes, therefore it's in your interest to obtain as many information as possible. If she or he doesn't acknowledge or ignore mistakes then of course don't really on that person at all. Specially for those who don't understand English very well, sponsor is essential, but you don't want to be dependent, and let your decisions be made by others. Learn, read and listen well. Although every page in SFI & TripleClicks sites has Translate button, in some languages that translation can be confusing - so posting in your native language in Forum can help greatly.

Firstly it isn't impossible that people from same regions have similar questions and problems.
Than - Forum is the place where people with problems mostly search for answers, just try search box.. That is the place where affiliates help each other, with the helpful comments of the company.

In my case, my upper line is very active in helping us in many different places, now they became very active to translate their posts previously written in English to our native language, and I get daily announcements of translated texts, so I can share it with my downline. Most of them don't understand English, and I think this opportunity has bring great relief to them.
Remember - crucial for your SFI business is growing successful downline.

So - native language section is, in my opinion, valuable help to you - it's the resource where you can find answers for you or your PSAs or downline - often crucial. That's the way to avoid mistakes, to stay in touch, even to identify people willing to help, follow them and learn from them.

You should be proactive in the beginning, initiate conversation, and ready to help from the start and later. I don't think that it is wise to make dependent PSAs or CSAs, it's best to teach them to work independently but help them whenever they need. But this applies to all PSAs/CSAs...

When they are from another country, you can help them by referring them to Forum section in their own language, YouTube SFI tutorials in their own language or suggest to find Facebook SFI support groups which usually contain translated Files, and where they can communicate better with SFI colleagues.

If there is no way to communicate because of language barrier, of course, you should use Translator, even if translation is not always correct, I think that main things can be understood.

If you have several affiliates from the same country, you could use the skills of the one who understand English or other mutually understood language so he/she can translate what you have to say to others correctly.

Use illustrative screen-shots with keywords only, to show how things are done, or to get their attention on specific topic. Picture says more than words.

Advertising:
Paid advertising on the social networks are the best. I've found that Google AdWords are working effectively. You can advertise products from TripleClicks, enrolling new PSAs, Penny Auctions, games.. anything that could bring you new customers or members to your team.

Also - paid advertising in major advertising cites is very good idea. Even in newspapers, or other media.

Invest in making professional, great website (and blog eventually) - with strong SEO, neatly, modern looking, eye-catching, up to date, easy to find and easy to use. And advertise it too.

I am sure there could be found more marketing tools you can invest in, do a little research, and you'll be overwhelmed with opportunities, such as Traffic Exchange etc.

Mostly i like this job because I always wanted to travel, be free and earn along..
I've discovered that some very smart people are working in SFI.
SFI have FREE membership, it is not like all those companies that are interested just in those FEES and then - you are left on your own.
SFI is serious work, with paycheck every 10th in the month, not overnite easy cash, which is mostly disappointing fraud, and that's a fact.
Like everywhere when you are your own boss - you start from scratch, but if you invest time to learn, amount is rising.
Your sponsors must take care of you because they can not make income if you are not working the right way.
In first month you can became Executive Affiliate just by learning.
You are actually payed for learning a little each day - all these daily tasks awarded with VPs are companies way to educate and equip you, even if you have no experience, and as the result - they get the good employee.
You have time to decide if you like the work, whether to invest, which is totally optional, or to became so good that you even don't need to invest.
The BEST part are the endless, creative ways to earn: from playing & promoting online games or Penny Auctions, selling yours or companies products, to owning e-shop...

I believe in power of choosing who you are, no matter what others say. So: try to discover why are you so sure that your communication skills are not good?
There is nothing you can't overcome.
Especially in communication area, when we live in age where communication and information are available in every possible form.
Just choose which one is the most suitable for you, writing e-mails, chatting, live talk, via phone or applications that provide live video so you can see the person... If you start to communicate with member friendly and worm, I am pretty sure that you will continue in that manner.

But you must pay attention to adequately addressing the needs of your members. And that's really simple: just be available, approachable, ready to help, professional and motivated. I see all of my members as the reflection and projection of me at the beginning, we have all been there, just remember how you felt and what you needed then.
Information can be presented in many forms, but it must be accurate and helpful, as much as possible.

Of course, you can't always be in your comfort zone, people are different, but it is not hard to adapt or to suggest the way of communicating that suits you best.

I personally think that you are and will be very good sponsor, because you asked this question. That means that you are thinking about that and intend to be the best you can.

The absolutely first reason is that every VP counts, and have multiple, maybe small but essential values: materijal - every VP has value in money, it is a base for duplication and their volume determines share in Executive Pool - "For each VersaPoint (VP) you accumulate during the month, you receive one share of the month's pool. Secondly: Daily tasks are meant to motivate members to learn, especially Ask SC - not reading answers is big big mistake, because you gain extra informations, or explanations, that maybe didn't available on the site, or one didn't found it yet. But mostly about ways of work, ideas, useful internet resources... I have learned so much, I am writing this precisely because this part is "the toughest" part of daily tasks. Every tab is here to inform, to guide, to lead you to pay attention on some segment of your work.

Third is that they can earn about 400 VPs a month, it is almost 1/3 of EA status, all of us who consider SFI serious business would never miss a VP - I missed two this month and I can't forgive myself, I just don't know how that happened? It's that important.

Let them imagine: the end of the month, status has to be confirmed but exactly 38 points missing - so close, jet status can't be confirmed. Months work will be lost. Those situations are solved only by investing money - ask them if they prefer that, or to dedicate maximum 30 minutes to look what is going on in SFI, from which they hope to earn money.
Alerts will tell them what is urgent to be done, they will see what their members are doing or did not done, they will read some useful information, give their opinion, see what's new in Tripleclicks, play a game or two,
and on top - qualify for tomorrow's prizes.

30 minutes and effort put in clicking and reading is really small price for all that.

VPs is measurement how hard are they willing to work.
