My honest answer to your question is: "No, you can't".

Is it possible TECHNICALLY, maybe, but is it REALISTICALLY possible, no.

This business is built by leading as an EXAMPLE. If you try to do things the short or easy way, then that is what you will duplicate. Example is how can you tell your team to make a Standing Oder to secure their 1500 VP a month when they look at your profile and see you don't have a SO Badge. How can you advise them to use any products or bid in the auctions if you don't have a TripleClicks Product Review badge showing you have taken advantage of those same products, or a badge showing you are a Pricebenders Auction Winner.

You would have to have some serious determination to hang in there any time at all trying it that way. And more important than that is finding enough others to join your team with that same determination. I honestly believe that everyone would quit before they came close to success trying it.

Start out right and be a product of the product and get your SO up and use the products and teach others to do the same and what LITTLE money it will cost you to get started will be dwarfed in no time with the income you will receive.

To me in this day and time we are all living a fast paced life. Most people will quickly tell you they do not have time to come to a meeting or seminar. So trying to get people to your meetings would be discouraging and disappointing not just for you but you guest when most do not show and they are the only one sitting there.

This does not mean that you should not hold a meeting or a seminar. How you are going to want to do it is use some of the meeting programs out here. One of my favorites is GoToMeeting. The thing I like about meeting like this is a few reasons.

1) The attendance is much higher cause for the guest there is no travel time, no having to leave the home so it an be planned around their schedule.

2) They can invite their friends to log on as well and not feel singled out or embarrassed if they do not show.

3) One of the biggest reasons is that with this I can invite people from all over the world to join not just my neighborhood or town. Oh WOW, just think how big your prospect list just came now.

4) I can now do meetings throughout the day to fit the schedule of my prospects. Takes me 30 minutes or less so I can do a quick webinar during lunch and have people watching on their breaks. I can do one in the mornings for the mom's after the kids have left for school. At night after kids are to bed in place of them not showing to my home meeting cause they didn't have a babysitter.

I could go on with the Pro's of holding these types of meetings and seminars. But I am sure your wheels are turning already. So here is to your next online meeting or seminar.

This is an awesome topic and one that most people fail with. If you want an active PSA or even CSA it starts from the beginning. They have to have that belief or they will not last.

So how do you get them to understand or believe?

Two BIG words: WHY and HOW (in that order!!!)

You see you could explain all the amazing things about SFI, the tools, the different ways to make money, the products on TripleClicks, the Pricebenders auctions, everything, BUT, that may not be what interest them. FIND THEIR WHY.

1) WHY did they join to start? Is it money? Is it to quit the job they hate? Is it to buy something they can't afford any other way? Maybe it is to have more time to do other things they enjoy. You get the picture. Find their why and you have found their hot spot. Then and ONLY then can you move to the HOW.

2) HOW are they going to get their WHY? SFI is HOW. You job now is to show them how SFI can help them achieve their why. Now is the time you share the technical side of the business and show them how to get to work.

REMEMBER......... Nobody is really here for the money. Yes that is right, the money is not why you are here either.

What you are here for is:
To quit your job
To stop having to work all that overtime
To find time to share with family
To find time to go do the things you love
To replace that old car with your dream car
To fix up your home or buy new one in that area you love
To send your children to the best college
To help them get a good start in life
I could go on and on, but you see all these things are not MONEY, Money is just the means of getting these things. Don't think just of the money, think of what the money will do for you and that is the end result that will motivate people.

To me this is why people will understand the amazing opportunity that SFI offers. Where else can they accomplish all this while helping so many others do the same. NO WHERE or we would all be there and we are not we are here cause SFI does offer the most amazing opportunity out there.

I have learned over the years in this industry that Marketing and Sharing an opportunity with others is VERY hard for some folks. They are so scared of one of the smallest words in any language and that word is "NO".

So guess what? Gery has kindly taken care of that and will even reward you to help them. It is called a "Co-Op"

Gery and his staff have in place a way for you to set up and co-op for your team and allow them to benefit from your work and knowledge. As you set one up and get them going pick one of your participants and teach them what you are doing. Pay-It-Forward by sharing your experience. Teach them what you know and hold their hand till they are comfortable doing it on their own. Make them commit to paying it forward and passing on those teaching to another.

In my opinion this is the only way I would approach this with my team. Reason being is Gery did all the hard work for us. He even made it so easy to duplicate that anyone could do it. That is were success comes in to play. I would rather have 1% of a 100 people that a 100% of my own.

But the real kicker is the people you bring in and train will also be bringing in others and they will not be close enough to stop by your place for training. But what they can do from the next town or the next country or even from the other side of the world, is jump online and get some great training.

One of the ways I have been able to make that come across is to put it simple. I use a little stories to break it down. Here is one of them.

Ask them if they have ever played cards. Most everyone has played some type of card game at some time in their life. When they say yes I ask them "If you were to drop the deck while you were shuffling them and all the cards fell on the floor, would you pick up all of them or just some of them to play the game?"

You see they all have told me "well of course I would pick them all up, you can't play cards without all the cards in the deck."

You can guess my response, " SFI is not different.... Each Daily Action VP is a card in your deck. You need all those Cards (Points) to play the game."

Most folks at this point will see a light bulb go off over their head and POOF they get it. After that I will send them an email or message now and then and ask them to check the flood and make sure they have "All their CARDS."

There is no one letter that will do for everyone. This being a global business people will be coming here for different reasons and different determinations. In place of a message constipated with welcome lets get you off to a fast start here is what you need to do the first week. Be kind, be gentle. Introduce yourself and tell them why YOU are here. Tell them what you like to do and don't do. Not with SFI but in life in general. Ask them a few questions about what they enjoy. You can see where they are from so ask them about that place. Ask them what they do for a living.

Engage them in conversation and learn to listen.

When they write you back and tell you about what they do compliment them on their profession. You are going to hear one of two things in the next message. How much they love what they do or how much they hate it. Either way, that is just one of their HOT SPOTS for being here if you listen.

If they love it then find ways to associate that passion with what we do here and how they are going to love SFI.

If they hate what they are doing, there again, this is their HOT SPOT. Now send them a message of how SFI can work for them and get them out of that profession. Are you seeing a light go off now?

Same thing goes for where they live. Maybe they would rather be somewhere else. This introduction can build rapport, friendships and trust. Just keep in mind the one asking the questions will control the conversation so be inquisitive. Do keep in mind though to ask open ended questions that require an active response. Do not as closed ended questions that can be answered with one word like yes or no. If you have to ask a closed ended question though, make sure it is a "Yes" question. If you think the answer might be a now, DO NOT ask it. You want the answers coming from your affiliate being Yes, Yes, Yes, Of Course. You do this and they will sell themselves on SFI and you will have an active PSA on your hands.

So I am sure you are making sure YOUR team is getting those things and supporting them in a manner that will make you an Awesome Sponsor.
