First get to know your PSA! A major function of leaders is to support the motivation of other individuals and groups. There are approaches to motivating people that are destructive, for example, fear and intimidation. While these approaches can seem very effective in promptly motivating people, the approaches are hurtful, and in addition, they usually only motivate for the short-term. There are also approaches that are constructive, for example, effective delegation and coaching. These constructive approaches can be very effective in motivating others and for long periods of time. Different people can have quite different motivators, for example, by more money, more recognition, time off from work, promotions, opportunities for learning, or opportunities for socializing and relationships. Therefore, when attempting to help motivate people, it's important to identify what motivates each of them. Ultimately, though, long-term motivation comes from people motivating themselves.

How can you determine what TripleClicks product(s) a person might be interested in?
Consumer behavior essentially refers to how and why people make the purchase decisions they do. There are two principal ways to evaluate the motivation behind consumer purchases. These are by direction (what they want) and intensity (how much they want it). Direction refers to what the customer wants from a product. For example, if a customer is selecting pain reliever, they may like the idea is one pain reliever is cheaper than another, but what they really want is fast pain relief, and will probably pay more if they think the more expensive brand can do that more effectively. Marketers need to understand the principal motivation behind each type of product to correctly target potential customers.

Should I or shouldn't I participate in the SFI PPA program?

It's not recommended.
SFI Pay-Per-Action (SFIPPA) is an optional, supplemental income program available to all SFI affiliates that allows you to act as an advertiser for SFI and earn supplemental income by getting others to take actions such as filling out forms.
In SFIPPA proram you can earn, but you can earn more if you help your PSA to become good in bissnis. If you bring new affiliate in SFI you want him in your team. So, it's NO for SFI PPA.
Is cold calling, using a local telephone directory, a good method for attracting new PSAs?

The best way to find quality people, is to focus your attention on offline prospecting! Purchase a really good network marketing lead list, and call them up. Ask them if they are still looking for a business opportunity. If they are, find out what they are looking for.
This will help you determine who is serious, and guide them to your SFI Gateway. Stay on the phone with them as they sign up. Direct them to the SFI basics tab and tell them to earn at least 500 VP before logging off. With this method, you start everyone off the RIGHT way. Many of them will be serious enough to set up their standing order in the first few days. The point is, you interact and begin forming a relationship with them from day one.

It is possible to earn enough VP in your first month to make BTL. This is a mistake!!! Better is to stop at EA and work on building a team. Once you have a few EA2's, the bonuses will push you into the Team Leader ranks naturally.
I see so many New affiliates ranking Bronze and Silver in just a few days. This is just setting yourself up for a major disappointment in months to come if you have not taken the time to learn the business and build a STRONG Affiliate Team. You will need at least 5 strong affiliates to make a great team. 5 affiliates that will work everyday on business building and recruiting.

There is a Three Things About Advertising
The first thing is that there is no best way for everyone. Just because your friend gets great results with advertising doesn’t mean you will.
The second thing about advertising is to think of it as an equation, a combination of tactics, rather than just one thing.
The third thing is that the biggest success factor in advertising is not the site, it’s your advertising message. Not that the site is not important, it is. But your message is what causes people to act, not the medium. Simply sending out an email does not cause people to act, but sending an email with a compelling message will.
