I would encourage new affiliates to focus on gaining VP in the following order

1) Set up min 1500 VP Standing Order - it is important to highlight the advantages of becoming a Gold Fast Track member to new affiliates, there is a lot of information/training in SFI and without your support & encouragement it is easy for new affiliates to miss the 10 day window of opportunity - this will ensure that the new affiliate starts to see results immediately as GFT members do not have be EA2 they can start earning $$$ in the first month & this action provides many ongoing benefits as well

2) start advertising your business immediately (including SFI Biz Op, TripleClicks Store and ECA Program) and encourage/support new members to follow step 1 by building a strong team you can earn monthly VP and you will also start earning direct commissions.

3) Work through the training materials, it's not a race if they have followed step 1 then EA status is already attained and the AVP available from this training can be spread over the first few months - new affiliates can then give the training proper attention rather than rushing through in order to reach EA status - if planned well the VP available for training can help the affiliate to reach & maintain Team leader status for the first few months by which time they should have built up a reasonable sized team of PSA from their own advertising efforts (step 2) and CSA from shares of second home CSA & CSA awarded for maintaining EA status.

4) Daily / Weekly / Monthly tasks from To Do list - keep up to date with news etc

5) Auctions / Games / Shopping etc in your TripleClicks store - great fun but does not grow / add long term value to your business so should not be at the expense of steps 1 - 4 as they are all aimed at building a stronger business model and long term residual income.

I would start by explaining that one of the many advantages to SFI compared with other IM business' is that they provide many amazing tools that cater to all types of affiliate, whether your short on time, capital to invest, IM experience or any other barriers you can think of there are tools already available in the affiliate centre designed to help you on your path to success.

It is a good idea to list all your strengths and limitations and armed with this information create a business plan.
In this scenario

Business plan
1.Encourage affiliate to set up a standing order. This must have a minimum 1500 VP but higher is better especially if you have capital to invest. This ensures they will reach EA status and be eligible to earn from multiple income streams even if they are to busy to log during the month.

2. The standing order should include any or all of the following business building products
- SBuilder Co-op - earn both SFI Affiliates and TripleClicks referrals without lifting a finger just let SFI do the advertising for you.
- PSA to go - direct purchase of SFI Affiliates another way to build your downline
- Tcredits - Like currency in TripleClicks and can be used for games, auctions, listing unwanted items for sale, making purchases and more.. VP is always a good idea because you earn VP & MRP both when you purchase them & in most chases when you spend them as well.

3. Check out TripleClicks for many more IM resources like done for you ad campaigns

4. Log in whenever possible and utilise your time spent in the affiliate centre wisely, complete training & keep up to date with any news or changes to the business model assess any positive or negative changes what impacts they have on you then update your business plan accordingly
