Hi Adebayo, I will surely follow this topic, for I know the importance of a good tracking but missing a good system with it too.

My friend used a cool 4 number system. With the first number, he tracked his ad place, with the second, he tracked his ad topic, with third, the ad body (he advertised mostly by solo ads)and with the last one, he tracked the gateway. He sweared to me that the old white RealBusiness gateway worked better than the new green one, interesting, isn't it...

Our SFI key codes and hit tracking is great, but it has one major and quite common with some other trackers fault, it does not work with majority of the credit links! Is just those links have a special code, and while counting the timer, they wipe out the extra trackers.

There are some businesses out there, that that code is wiping the whole ref part, so we are lucky anyway that it wipes out only our tracker;-)

Of course it all depends on who you are talking to about SFI.

You will avoid telling certain things to people new to online marketing
and you will surely say those things to people marketing in other online programs.

The saying, "different strokes for different folks" really comes true here.

With the marketers, you maybe like to be careful while mentioning PriceBenders auctions. Penny auctions businesses do not have a good reputation... Price Benders are different, especially for SFI members, but to be safe, is better I think to let them learn about this at their own.

When talking to online newcomers, I would tell them about the penny auctions, but I would completely avoid the multi level aspect of SFI business, at least at the very start.

BTW, the multi level aspect could have a negative connotations while talking to some online marketers too; again, it all depends...

WOW, I can't believe some of those answers here... Of course there is such a thing like helping your affiliates TOO much. You want to be supportive but you do not want to do all the work for them, you do not want to keep on assigning them your new PSAs, keep on paying for their advertising coop shares, promoting their ref link, etc. You surely do not want to build a business for them, you better build it for yourself and support those people who like to learn from you, but not who wait to be fed by your silver spoon.

You should NOT invest in SFI, you should invest with SFI in yourself!
There is a big difference between these two...

And why you should invest in yourself with SFI and not with some other companies out there?

Well, there are more than few good reasons for it:

- First of all, SFI is well proven, already in its 17th year online, meaning you have very good chances that they will be here for you for many, many more years

- Secondly,as SFI owner Gery told us in one of our LaunchPad lessons, no company has positioned itself better for the tremendous online international growth than SFI and its TripleClicks eCommerce Platform. SFI is the most global company there is and currently the biggest online growth does not happen any more in States or some other western countries, in happens in Eastern Europe, India, Indonesia, Africa etc. It happens where most of the other companies are not even present...

And the third major reasons is because with SFI, you are truly investing in yourself. You are NOT paying here for a monthly membership, you do not have any monthly quotas to meet. You can qualify for EA but you do not have to. You can miss a month or 2 and nothing would happen, no one will kick you out from here for unpaid monthly membership. You invest cause you want to, not cause you have to, and this should make for you a HUGE difference. You invest here in yourself, in your faster progress, faster success, you are NOT investing in SFI...

You are not a TripleClicks customer (though even those are more lucky shopping and bidding here than on many other online sites), you are a SFI affiliate, SFI independent distributor, SFI partner. Be proud of it and start investing in your own online future with SFI. Purchase those co-op shares, PSA to go, Peak Nutrition products, buy here as much as you can knowing that you are not spending money for SFI but spending money on yourself.

Instead of sending them a new newsletter, send them a freshly made and personalized with their picture and of course their ref link splash or a hosted squeeze page. Or give them a valuable promo code to some new advertising site, or some advertising credits.

Of course you want to do such things for your active refs, not for those who registered and forgot about it the very next day, for those keep on sending your newsletters ;-)

Hi Veit Josef, I think that no one would directly tell you that, even if they knew the precise answer for it. Many SFI affiliates are reading these Ask SC pages and... if they learn which of the banners has now the highest clicking rate, they will stop using what they are using and replace it with that banner... and in no time, that clicking rate would not be the highest any more... simply cause there would be too many of that banners rotating.

In addition, the highest converting banner will not be the same banner in all places. A different banner will be converting best in Traffic Exchanges, and a different banner in other places. My stats are for the traffic exchanges, but I will keep them to myself :-)

I will give you though an easy way to check that stats for yourself and a good advice to not make any assumptions based on your own banner taste.

A friend shared with me his banner stats that he tested on several biggest TE sites and I was stunned. The banner with the second highest impression/clicking rate was one of my least liked ones... in fact at that time, I was not using that banner at all.

If you are a member of some advertising sites, even safelists or various mailers, instead of spending all of your advertising credits on mailings, save them for banners and post there as many as your membership allows. Than assign to all of them the same number of credits, and in a couple of weeks or so, check your stats.

Do the same in as many sites as you can, and you will do 2 things, gather your own information and advertise your urls :-) Good luck!

Hi Julius, I think our most important goals for SFI business will often be very different, they will depend on our experience and our current situations.

The most important goal I have set for myself is to not even look at another online business or even any small opportunity for a one whole year. It is to give all what I got to SFI and never back off or even judge my results before the due time. It is to breath and sleep SFI, constantly think about it and do my very best to build a successful business with it.

It does not mean that I would not do any revisions, any changes of tactics… It does not mean that I would not learn and try new things. It means that every online action I will engage with, will have a single aim to enrich and better up my SFI business.

Why I have set that goal for myself? I have done many things online, I have even succeeded in some of them, but none provided me with any security or any dependable residual income and I got tired with it... So I want to give myself a fair chance in a solid, 17 year old company. Stay clean, stay focused for a whole year, and see where that will get me.

Fear of success you say…
Maybe this is important in motivational literature and recently so famous self improvement courses, but in practice, in SFI, as in other online businesses, there is a fear of failure and a real fear too.

All the statistics tell us that more than 95% of people trying to make business online, will fail within the first 2 years. This is truly scary…

In addition, majority of new SFI members are trying to build business without any financial expenses and without enough time to do things themselves. There is not such a thing as a free traffic for example, you must pay for it with your time or with your money, and if you do not have either, then the fear of failure must prevail…

To tell you the truth, I am disappointed with it, very disappointed.

I knew that a new, personalized with our picture page is coming, and I looked forward to it…

But, I was expecting something entirely different, something that we would be able to customize to our own advantage. The way the new gateway is designed, it can only work for SFI well established top members, if even…

Except the picture and number of badges, nothing is personalized there; identical text, identical pitch for all, new and old members.

You know, everything has its price… There is a price to be paid for the popularity and large number of SFI affiliates too, and not only the company is paying that price, but every SFI affiliate promoting today on the net, is paying it too.

People are sick and tired of seeing everywhere the same and the same SFI gateways, and is getting harder and harder to successfully promote SFI online. So I was hoping for a new gateway to be different, to be way more personalized and easily customized by all members. Something having the default text and colors, and having the option to change it.

This might sound too harsh, but I think neither of them works any more…

Both, text ads and safelists are full of members eager to sign up other members to all their various latest launches, prelanches, and other kind of ‘get rich quick’ schemes. Their sole purpose is to promote their own opps and not research other online opportunities. 95 or even more percent of text ads and safelist members, click on the links ONLY to collect enough credits to be able to send their own free mailing or solo ad. Usually, they do not even look at the title…

There are whole tutorials on collecting the max amount of credits in the least amount of time, meaning how to quickly open the credit mails in new tabs and click fast…

Some new safelists and exchanges have antifraud protections, but they do not help too much, there is always a way to collect those credits without staying on the site the required amount of time… Trust me, I know, for I was thought how to do that…

Super solos, meaning solos which are send to multiple exchange sites at once, are sold on the net today for big money, but they too are much less effective than they used to be. Clicking on super solos gives much more credits than clicking on regular mail, this is why Super solos have higher stats, but… again, those stats are not real number of people who read and clicked on your ad, in fact far from it…

So sorry, but in my opinion, neither text ad exchanges nor safelists should be your main way to promote SFI online.
