Who is the better demographic to target in my ads? Retired persons...or homemakers?

In my opinion, both.
Homemakers need the extra cash. The excitement about making some extra money will be a very appealing drive. More over, since they are still active, there is a greater chance that they will grow their networks faster and better than retirees.
On the other hand, retired persons have ample time on their hands. Some who have not been able to achieve their dreams are very much anxious to do so, so they will also find the opportunity appealing. These are willing and ready to invest. So i advice you target both.

What ads have been the most effective for you in sponsoring quality affiliates?

For me the text ads provided in the marketing aids page has proven to be very effective even in email campaigns. I find using these along with ecards prove to be more effect in signing up affiliates. In other words, email ads to people you know and personally referring friends on social media attracts quality affiliates.

I believe its best to invest in double MRPs auctions for CSAs. The more CSAs you have, the greater the chances of success. The MRPs generated from the auctions can then be reinvested to purchase more Tcredits thereby earning more sales Points which will increase the number of versa points earned that month.
I am not a game addict so i don't really recommend the games but i sure do recommend the auctions.
Is it better to promote SFI to friends and family...or to strangers?

Charity they say begins at home. It is best to start with your friends and family members. You can actually use them as a learning point because most will be cynical and make a jest, but you pick from that to learn how to approach strangers. More over, its always fun to share success with family and friends, its fun creating a healthy competition with a family member or a friend like who will recruit the most PSAs in a day or month, who will earn the most versapoints and so on, it will help to motivate both yourself and the person.
Promoting to your close associates will give you a drive to succeed because you know they watching you and you need to inspire them.
In any case, both ways is good, but start with your family and friends and then extend to strangers.

Do I need to have a website or my own blog to be successful with SFI?

I would say it is dependent on your audience and your marketing plan. Who are you targeting? What is your marketing method?
If you marketing majorly offline and are always physically present to explain to the intended client and help them sign up, it is not a compulsion that you own a website or a blog to be successful. Infact generally, a website or blog is not a must for success in SFI, its just an added advantage. Your SFI page is good enough to convert visitors to PSAs.
Where it becomes necessary is in cases where you market in the social medias, some of these have blocked the SFI gateways due to spam. In such a case, you will definitely need your own personal domain to direct convert to.

I would suggest the PSAs To Go (50 Pack) with about 1622 VP. Though the price might be considered a little high at $139 compared to $36 dollars for the 125 Tcredits, but it is the quickest and best way to build your sfi business without much stress. Secondly you lead them into the basics of SFI, lead them through the todo list and explain to them what they need to do on their first day especially points they need to earn the the fast track badge.
