For me it depends on the situation.
Usually and commonly, i preferred using manual bid to control my Tcredits.
Unless...
If you have many Tcredits with no way to spend and not interested in other games, then you may use it under auto bidder way. Auto bidder is more useful especially when you wish to away or excuse yourself for a while but you not intend to loose the bid item.
Apart from the 125 TCredits pack, what other Standing Order product with 1500 VP would you suggest to replace IAHBE?

Out of the above standing order you mentioned, I also added in 10 targeted signup which I found very effective since few months ago. It is quite effective as you can see the growth and also the result compare to S-Builder.
However, if you think you need more TCredits, you may used the TCredits as your standing order as well. It is up to you and also according to your budget, that's what I done.
Which is most effective for advertising SFI...a regular hosted website or a blog about SFI?

I will said both are effective and the main point is how interesting you able to advertise through the hosted website or blog.
The attraction of keyword needed to allow the guy to click and look into it no matter upon curiosity or seriously to be involved.
If you want more people to read or viewed through the search engine website, you need to insert good meta keyword (common search keyword by people) so that it will shown and link to your hosted website or blog.
Blog is free, hosted website need to pay to advertise unless above done with proper SEO style. But I believed the numbers of viewers are even at last.
