As you build your downline, the common mistakes to avoid I believe are...

1) Responding to your downline questions, concerns or suggestions with no urgency.
*It is vital that your team can rely on you, so ensure them with your promptness in responding immediately so they aren't hesitant to contact you.

2) Taking your time to create a site to home all your SFI tips, blogs and gateways.
*You will need this to further your endeavors with SFI.

3) Be an example FIRST. Be sure, what you suggest to your downline, you are doing yourself.
*There is no better teacher than an experienced one.

The things about SFI that most convince people to join, is the ability to have their own opportunity of income in their own hands and not a day to day job. Also, believing that there is a legitimate company of like minded people looking for that same opportunity, will give someone the curiosity to venture into SFI. Sometimes, knowing they're not alone is that little bit of an edge a person will need providing they are really serious.
There are some that still haven't figured out that the get rich schemes don't work but giving the opportunity as SFI gives, most will stay once they see what SFI is about and all the opportunities they are offered for free.

I believe there will be many people with yes, varying amounts of experience. The best way to look at this in my opinion is... everyone has been given the same tools to work with, have all started from the beginning, have probably asked that same question to themselves, and are still learning just as we will all continue to do. Don't allow questions as such, to slow you down on your path to success. Remember, this isn't a race, the challenges aren't made to be discouraging but inspiring for everyone to push themselves and to be held accountable to someone if not to themselves. There's no such thing as ridiculous questions. We're all learning at one degree or another. Hope this helps and inspires

I myself, have taken a long time to speak to others I don't know so, I would say-

Be patient and get the feel of the water:
1) Smile, Be Confident, Be genuine try to establish a common ground of interest until the conversation eases. ie- family, children, schooling, traveling, work, hobbies

Share your interests:
2) talk about ways you enjoy helping others and what success means to you in days that the economy is unforgiving. Where you would like to see yourself and/or your family.

Share your experience:
3) ask if they would ever consider working from home, shopping online, even building a family business
4) When they believe you are genuine, they will ask you what you think and you can share SFI basics with them, maybe ask for an e-mail to contact them later.

Share your Success:
5) When you e-mail them, add your gateways to your e-mail at the bottom and surely, they will have had a good conversation and look into what you have sent them.

Hopefully, this has opened up some idea of how you could go about talking to others.
