1. Make a list of products you are both passionate and knowledgeable in.
2. Use google to research the popularity of each product on your list. With tools like google adwords you can quickly get a good idea which products are in great demand.
3. After your research, shorten your list to what your research suggested will sell best.
4. Search each of the products on your short list at TripleClicks and choose a couple of products which cathes your fancy for each on your short list and tabulate it to form a new expanded tabulated list.
5. Use every word in the names of the products from TripleClicks on you expanded list again in google adwords too see which keywords will sell best.
6. Shorten your list once again according to your research.
7. From here on its trial and error. Promote each product on your final list on small scale first to see which ones sell best.

- How you will promote the products is an entirely separate discussion.

Hope this strategy is easy to follow and understand. Hope it clarifies your question. Anyhow this is how I choose what I want to promote.

There are other tools similar to google adwords but its just that I'm used to google's tools.

This is my personal view of the subject of your question.

No the playing field is not level.

Newcomers like myself is afforded a better deal than what was afforded to the old timers.
This I derive from the fact that over time SFI has grown and added multiple new opportunities, advancements and refinements, which is absolutely free to use by us newcomers.

You also need to consider that the old timers had to work hard to achieve their success and they did it with less than what we have.

You also need to think about the fact that these hard core old timers are still here and all of their experience is indirectly at your disposal through their contributions towards SFI.

I would suggest to any newcomer to boldly grab the bull by the horns and make maximum use of everything SFI affords us. As plenty question.

I have found that most of the more experienced affiliates here at SFI stand by the motos "pay it forward", "your success is my success, my success is your success", "we are here to help you" and I can carry on the whole day listing all these positive motos.

I for one can definitely say that I have an awesome sponsor.

This is my personal opinion so make of it what you will.

Don't worry about the inactive affiliates. Check your movers tab and focus on the ones that wants to make a success. With your movers and genealogy tabs it is easy to see who are taking business serious.

I acknowledge that many people don't have the capital. So I would strongly recommend you look at your down line in respect of Versa Points. Especially when it comes to the newbies. An affiliate can rise quickly in rank at the beginning with SFI's very well laid out plan, without spending one cent. My sponsor gave me 2 gift vouchers one month after I joined. I can not over specify how much it meant to me. It enabled me to buy shares in the SBuilder co-op.

That brings me to the next point I want to bring across. I believe the people in SFI who run the SBuilder are far superior than example me, in "hooking the big eager hungry fish". I think quality far outways quantity when it comes to down line.

My suggestion is that if you can afford it buy yourself SBuilder shares as well as for the movers in your down line they will greatly appreciate it and both you and them will benefit almost 1OO% guaranteed, residually for many years to come.

Of coarse there are other ways to encourage and motivate your down line as well. Kind words, a "thank you" or "congratulations" when they achieved some milestone or anything they succeeded in. There are many ways but what I am saying is focus on people who want to succeed and communicate strategies which let you to success as well as the successful strategies of your down line members respectively. Lead by example and acknowledge every great action that takes place in your down line. Let them know that you notice what they are doing.
