How should I advise my ECAs on which products they should sell and what prices they should charge?

Greetings
Well first you have to know if this ECA is selling products on country level or worldwide, if it is worldwide, you must advise him to put products that are unique or specially made in his own country, as many knows that regular products are available in the local markets and can be found real cheap that buying it from the internet.
Also you can advise the your ECA to put a very reasonable prices to compete with other sources that sell the same or most likely the same product and to overcome the shipping fees as well

The only way in my opinion is to show by example, show them that you are still working and building up your business, show them your badges that you accumulate over the months and also show them that you will never give up until you reach your goal

a2a is good mean to contact with people form all the world and make new good friends, but the most important thing in my opinion is that you can advertise through themby either searching for a good product here in TripleClicks that they might even know or by introducing your own product, if it is a good one I think they will help in spreading the word

-First you have to declare from the beginning that this is an ongoing business and not a one time.
-Then try to explain what is the meaning of an on going business
-Explain the benefits that will come on a person by joining
-Show them the many paths that SFI offers to earn money
-Show them that this is not a full time hard work, cause many people run away when knowing that they will do work again and tell them that they can do it on their spare time and from any where
-I think the above will do if only they give you the chance to communicate with them, as many of the prospects ran away when they know that it will not give them quick money
