What are the things that most make you proud to be an SFI affiliate?

I think the things that make me most proud to be a SFI affiliate would be that I am developing my own business with the help and support of others that are trying to do the same thing. I've only been with SFI for about two weeks and feel like I am doing something positive. Success for me is only around the corner. What is also great is that when I have success, I know that I am contributing to my teams' success also. SFI has made it so simple to grow your business. They give you everything that you need: information, support and connecting with other SFI affiliates who have achieved success through this system. You can learn from those who have done it all before you. Just follow what they have achieved and their success can become your success.
Having access to the tripleclicks website also gives you everything you need to help your business at a low price. They also have great products that are cheaper than anywhere else. Taking part in the online auctions for products at 98-99% off their retail price is great. You can win products for next to nothing. I recommend tripleclicks to everyone, and promoting it will get you great commissions, so get out there and tell everyone you know about the site. Great place to shop for Christmas.

How can we get across to our affiliates that investing minor (at least) amounts of money into SFI is smart?

I think that we need to lead by example. Set up your own standing order and invest in products that will help you run your business successfully. When they see that what you have done is paying off for you, they should follow in your footsteps. Show them what you did and what products to buy, which should be done on your leadership page (direct your affiliates to your leadership page). Encourage them to ask you questions and give them informative advice. Direct them back to their Launchpad page and get them to read and re-read it so that they get a better understanding. Finally get them onto the forums so they can ask other affiliates what they have done. It is important to keep the lines of communication open so that you are building trust in you as their team leader and in SFI. They would be likely to invest something towards their business if they trust that its going to benefit them in the long run.

Above all else, what is the ONE THING that has made the difference for you in succeeding with SFI?

The one thing that makes a difference to me in succeeding with SFI is the accumulation of versapoints with every action I do. With that I am building my business from the ground up and I feel that I am accomplishing something. I challenge myself to get more and more versapoints everyday, in the hope that I will continue to build my power rank and continue getting as many badges as I can. If everyone strived to get all the badges, everyone will feel that they are achieving success because they are getting rewarded for their hard work and commitment. I find huge satisfaction when I log in and see my versapoint total has increase, some times a little, some times a lot. But knowing that I continue to achieve means I moving in the right direction and success is not far away.

How can I get my affiliates active with TripleClicks?

Become active with tripleclicks yourself. Participate in the online auctions and have a standing order of important products to your success. Encourage your affiliates by showing them what you have achieved and what great deals you are getting at tripleclicks that you would not find anywhere else on the internet or in the real world. Finally keep your leadership page up to date to let them know what products you recommend for them to buy.
I almost gave up on SFI. What did you do to keep pushing forward?

Don't give up. One thing that SFI has never done is make bold promises. The site makes it clear that it will take a little time to begin to see substantial results. The things that keep pushing me forward to want to continue with SFI is that every time I do something, I receive a surprise. Every badge I receive lets me know I am on the right track. I also pay attention to my scorecard that lets me see how I rate with other SFI members. And every day I log in I am surprised when my power rank keeps on going higher and higher. Because I was serious about this business from the start, I was able to achieve Silver Team Leader within the first month. I have only been doing this a month and I can see how far I have come in such a short time. I only really focused on doing all the tasks on my to-do list everyday. I have bought a few things from tripleclicks that I will use to enhance my business and spread the word far and wide. The best thing I got was the s-builder co-op which gives me new PSAs every week. I have not receive any commissions yet, but I have a strong positive attitude that if I stick with it and try to motivate my down-line to achieve what I have achieved already, then it is only a matter of time before I start receiving a few commissions and then a lot.
Stick with it because it will be worth the effort in the end, especially when you start managing your own team. I only wished I found this years ago when I was looking for a home-based business that would offer me the same support and information that I am receiving at SFI.

How do I get my downline members to participate in my team contests?

Not an easy thing to do, especially for someone who has just started in this business and/or only recent became a team leader. One way I think might work is to mention it in every correspondence to your down-line, including your weekly or bi-weekly newsletter. Try to get them excited about it by offering something that you know will help them succeed in their own business, eg. gift cards to tripleclick to encourage them to set up a standing order, s-builder units that will help them build their own team or even tcredits to get them involved in the auctions.
I would also try to give them the incentive to reach EA status by making it a condition of the contest. It will be up to them how they achieve EA status. Hopefully once they start seeing success, they will strive to further their business with SFI.

Why is creating duplication in your SFI business important?

I think creating duplication in your business is important because you can be everywhere all the time so you must train people like yourself to help you out. Every business duplicates it employees. When you first start out, your at the bottom rung of the company, then you get promoted. Your promotion comes with responsibilities (and more money). You may be required to lead a small group of employees, which you will train to perform the same tasks as you. They will be promoted to do the same thing, while you reap the benefits of more money and another promotion
The only difference with SFI is that it is much easier and much quicker to get promoted. All it requires is for you to earn enough VP per month and you can lead a team of your own, who will one day lead a team of their own and so on and so forth. And there is more money involved. Just use the earning calculator to see what your potential earning might be. Leading 5 affiliates who are serious about their business and are willing to lead 5 affiliates of their own is enough to give you a handsome return. If you have more than 5 affiliates then your income potential is limitless. It is up to you how far you want to take your business. The sky's the limit.

Recruiting PSAs or ECAs--which will generate the quickest income?

Hard to say because I have only been at SFI for 2 weeks. I guess if people buy from your ECAs your more likely to garner a greater income, unless your PSAs are active enough and are doing what you are doing by having their own PSAs and ECAs through duplication, that would very likely garner a far greater income that just your ECAs.
It is very important to use both streams to get the highest income, which seems to be limitless. Hope this helped.

Because you are a team leader, you are now responsible for leading your team to achieve as you have achieved. You have to motivate new PSAs and CSAs that have only just signed up or have been inactive for a little while. You must have as much information at your disposal to be able to answer their questions and to motivate them to work hard in their business. You need to convince them that it is a worthwhile venture that they have undertaken. You must be their teacher, and be will to help them out if they feel that they are failing. There are many rewards that come with being a team leader, but that you need to be there for your team, to help them see the light at the end of a very dark tunnel. On the other side of that tunnel is the success which you and they are trying to reach.
