How do you get your affiliates to approach their SFI business realistically, like a real business, and not some get unrealistic rich quick scheme?

A lot of your affiliates probably think that SFI will make them rich over night, and when they see that this is not like that they are discouraged.
I think from the begining you need to tell them that this depends only on their work and dedication so they shouldn't have too big expectations. But still keep them motivated because the incomes will come in time.
I need a mentor. What's the best way to find a mentor for SFI?

The best mentor is SFI. You have a lot of learning stuff in your office at SFI.
Start with the basics, than go to Launchpad and after i reccomend Income Course in the training tab, after that whatever you will read will be only plus for you.
But if that doesn't help, you should contact your sponsor or co-sponsor, or if they are unavailable contact anyone who is your upline.
If that too doesn't work start to read on the forum. There are a lot of people there willing to help you.
But remember that YOU DO NOT NEED A MENTOR, SFI provides you even more that it should, all you need to do is to read and the results will come.

Should I buy PSAs or learn how to sponsor them myself?

I think of that this way:
If i had good PSA's why would i sell them?
So if you buy PSA's there is real chance that there will not be active PSA's and that will be only waste of money.
But if you sponsor them yourselve they will gain trust in you and see a true leader who can lead them to success, you will learn something from them, if you are good sponsor they will rate you good and easier you will get to higher ranks.
So my answer would be definitely to sponsor them. Because thats how true leaders act...

What encouragement can I give to an affiliate who feels he or she is getting nowhere with SFI?

There are a lot of motivational videos on the youtube. Start with them i think there is some from Silvester Stalone and Will Smith, i know that this sounds funny but it really can motivate, even you should play tham for you once a week.
Other thing i use is next to my bed write some motivational sentence it sure keeps me motivated from the begining of the day and makes my day better not only for SFI but in every aspect in my life.
