How does one support a new affiliate from the second month in gaining needed VersaPoints if he/she does not have any funds?

Making money is not so easy. We all here to earn money. I suggest that each affiliate in SFI should invest may be little because without investing you will not get the results as you dream.
If any new affiliate have no funds then he/she have to work more hard. He/She should try to advertisement or sponsoring regarding SFI. If affiliate is dedicated to his duties that upline should give them some T-credits or Gift card to encourage them.
How can I further engage my SFI affiliates on social media sites like Facebook?

For this you have to create pages for social media like Facebook ,twitter etc. in which you want to engage SFI affiliates. Then you have to promote through providing on that pages :--

I think you should start Co-op Manager for your affiliates because :-
It establishes, support and reward behaviors based on trust and mutual help,
It makes sure that the company’s best interest is also the best interest of its employees in order to induce them into participating,
It mobilizes human skills, processes, as well as financial and technological resources so that the your's goals can be reached.

For Team of affiliates.
There are basically two important points where you have to focus...
1 Learning :- you have to make sure that they learn daily regarding SFI business which may be duplication of affiliates , New ECA , Tripleclicks etc
2 Motivation :- you need to motivate them for achieving their goals.
When someone asks you why they should join SFI, what do you say?

& lots of More.
If you need all of these then you should join SFI without wasting of your time immediately.
What's the difference between being an SFI affiliate and having a traditional business, and which is better?

SFI affiliate is basically a way to start your own business at low cost and with low monthly expenses.
While a traditional business is basically a business started with a large down-payment and the monthly expenses are high; usually you also need to have a place to store products that you stock up to sell.

I think new affiliates try to earn 1500vp quickly to achieve EA level by launchpad & intermediate actions.
They should avoid to earn quickly VP from launchpad & intermediate actions because actions points are very important. After first month mostly affiliates realizes that they should save action vp for next month.
But I recommend that they should earn 500Vp quickly to earn 200Vp as bonus. After that they should learn & after learning earn VP from launchpad & intermediate action.
