How can you keep your downline from quitting and giving up on SFI?
Affiliate since: 07/20/2013, Power Rank: 99999999
An excellent question, and one that has puzzled many new as well as experienced business builders. There are many reasons people lose interest:
• everyday life is busy
• no perceived results
• some rejection from family/friends
• someone with negative opinions, and many other reasons
The fact is in many cases they just see the work and the rejection and they forget why they signed up in the first place. Nobody starts a business just to enjoy the business, they do it to earn some rewards or to improve their lifestyle. They do it to pay off the house or to buy a house or to have a holiday overseas. They do it to get out of debt or to buy a new car, to renovate their kitchen or help family or charity. There are thousands of reasons why people join this business, but no one does it simply to work the business!
The point is they had a dream of achieving something and that is what you need to bring them back to. They usually have become bogged down in the tasks instead of focusing on WHY they joined! As sponsors we need to understand what motivates them, we need to know WHY they signed up and them help them to keep focused on their dreams. Successful people focus on the goals and then the actions become just steps on the path to achieving the goals.
Find your affiliate's goals and dreams and help them to remain focused and you will have much fewer quitters!

How can I find affiliates who are truly interested in SFI and who will remain active?
Affiliate since: 07/20/2013, Power Rank: 99999999
The major difference between active, excited affiliates and inactive affiliates is motivation. Something is motivating them to work this business and it isn't the work! They have a dream, a desire, something they want to achieve for themselves. Inactive affiliates are usually comfortable in their life situation and therefore don't have the motivation to work the extra hours needed to be successful.
So talk to each of your prospects and affiliates about what they want to achieve from this business. Ask them why they are building this business. Often you will get vague answers such as "to get free from my job" or "to retire early" or "because I want to travel". Take time to solidify those vague dreams for them. Ask them to define it; what will it feel like when you achieve that? How will you feel? What will be the first thing you do? Where is the first country you will travel to?
When people can focus on why they do it, the business and activity is easy.

How do you deal with PSAs who you offer unconditional support but still rate you poorly?
Affiliate since: 07/20/2013, Power Rank: 99999999
You should to ask them why they rate you poorly however you should ensure that when you have that discussion they feel safe in expressing their views. You need to be open to take whatever opinions and criticism they offer so that you can get the genuine reasons they rated you poorly. Do not challenge their opinions yet, just accept their views without comment.
It doesn't matter whether they are real criticisms in your view or not because they are real to them. The important step is next - ask them what they expect from you. This lets them know that you take their views seriously and will earn you a lot of respect.
Whatever their expectations are, negotiate with them so that you both are happy with how you will deal with them. They also must understand that you cannot - and should not - change your whole approach to suit them. They also have to fit in with your time and schedule, and understand you are running a business not a kindergarten.
