It is obvious that VP in the first month comes by to all affiliates soo easy after fulfiling some minor task as they learn from their dayly and weekly actions taking them to the rank of EA.But for the second month,subcription is necessary to enable them advance from the rank of EA to EA2 or above.Here,they need to subscribe for either standing order or IAHBE for them to advacnce.Either of the two subscribtion goes with 1500VP which is given them an automactic change in rank to EA2 and close to Bronz TL.It is also possible that they could subscribe for the both to enable them earn 3000VP automatically with two rank advancement.However,they should not be caried away with just ranks advancement as thier are other crusial and serious knowledge with experience they need to to gather to make them click to the rank they are to maintain as they explore and assist other new affiliates in the business. It is important to also let them know that the subscription dor either of the two is to be renewed each month for additional VP or be deactivated.I hope it helps.

What are the best ways to stay in contact with PSAs and CSAs and how often is best?

To me..the best way to stay in touch with your PSAs and CSAs varies.
You can use your genealogy and send a weekly news latter to them generally as you direct or tell them what to do to be successful. You can also use it to check on them as you appreciate them on their effort too.
You should also know that any CSA you have has his or her sponsor and uplines,therefore the sponsor and uplines plays more role in guiding or assisting them.
For your PSAs they expect much from you as their sponsor,therefore it must not only be through genealogy..you can also use your social networks like facebook,BBM etc to keep them on track. Goodluck!!

How does one support all your downline affiliates if you have barely enough to support your own self?

Supporting your down lines affiliate when you barely have enough to support yourself.
I don't just think that it is always right to support or encourage affiliates or down lines with money to succeed in this business,money is not everything in SFI..what if the affiliates turn around and rely solely on you the upline? They need to know what they have to do and put it in to practice to get things done when you are not there.
Always communicate with them through phones,genealogy and Emails etc. Through all of this channel of communications you can let them know what they need to do to be able to stand on their own as that will also help them to be a good sponsor to their down lines too. If it is about money alone..trust me some will never want to be a sponsor due do their low source of income.

There are several things to do that will enable you earn fast,some of these includes:
-Building an active team under you.
-maintaining at least EA2 every month.
-Always set goals or target for your self.
-play all the necessary games in SFI
-Do your shopping only on Tripleclicks.
-Refer non-sfi members to TC.
And so on...but always make sure you ask questions where you need answers and give assistance where possible because your success ties around every affiliates here in SFI.

How can I convince my downline of the benefits of having a Standing Order without them feeling pressured?

Even though 100vp is attached to setting up a standing other(S0) as a benefit of putting it up and as a motivator to advice other affiliates to put it up too,your choice of products are been delivered to you every month without stress.
I don't just think it is wise to stress over that frequently as tripleclicks are always doing that on our behalf. I don't also think it should be wise for those that are not buoyant financially to put it up because it might bring down your goals in the business in one way or the other. Finance always rule setting up a standing other,don't get it twisted because of the few benefit attached to it,instead search for what you need at tripleclicks when ever you feel you ready for it if you are not financially stable.
