PSAs and CSAs are like business associates. Staying in touch with them is an issue one cannot over-emphasize.

First of all, SFI provides various means whereby we can stay in touch with our downline. In my opinion, the number of times we can stay in touch with them cannot be quantified. What is important is for you to leave communication lines open all the time. At least it is helpful to make yourself accessible to your downline, because they may need help at odd hours.

In answering your question, "how often is best to stay in contact with downline?", apart from the weekly mail that fetches you VersaPoints, it is crucial to always stay in touch with them.

As long your downline needs help from you, you should do all you can to help sort out their issues. Be prompt with your responses and do your best for them. Most times we find downlines who do not respond to emails or IMs. Do not give up on them. Keep watching their progress and keep encouraging them. They may come round someday. Some affiliates may be reluctant to respond to emails cos they are not comfortable communicating with strangers. But you can debunk this myth by constant communication.

The following means of communication can be used to reach out to them.

1. The SFI Team mail (Geneaology Tab) - Very often we can send team mails through our genealogy tab to either our group of PSAs or CSAs or we could send a general team mail to all our downline. The Genealogy tab helps to filter these groups too and that is quite convenient.

2. SFI Online Chat - This is available if a downline is online. You can click to send an instant message to an affiliate. Your downline at the other end gets the message instantly too.

3. Your leadership page - This is another helpful tool for communication. Keep your leadership page updated. Always refer affiliates to your leadership page. There they can find useful information too when you are not available.
Set contests for your team and encourage them to participate.

4. Set up a blog - It is also good to have a blog of your own and provide the link for your downline too. Keep them informed of new posts on your blog and avail them other helpful information.

5. Social media - The use of social media has given business a big boost in current times. You can add your downline to your social media contacts. Social media such as skype, facebook, twitter, my space, etc are some examples.

6. A2A - Encourage your downline by adding them up to your a2a friends. Also encourage them to add each other. When you send out a message on your stream tab, you can select your a2a friends exclusively and send out tips to them. That way they get to read from you.

7. Emails - The conventional Email is also helpful

Affiliates especially during their first year become overwhelmed with information. They’d always need a lot of help this period to forge ahead. They also need to be inquisitive enough to seek answers on their own.

First of all let your affiliates know that SFI is a wealth bank and provides a lot of tools for affiliates to succeed. There are training videos, training materials and marketing tools to enhance your success. Affiliates can take advantage of them. They can take out valuable time to read up all the available material on the affiliate centers.

Affiliates can always get information from a number of sources. They can look to the following sources for help at any point in time.

1. Logging into the affiliate center daily – This has to be done unfailingly. Let them log in and do the needed tasks, visit the red tabs, read all the news tips and earn VersaPoints while they learn. This adds to their income level.

2. Talk to their Sponsors or Upline Team members – Affiliates can always access their sponsors or Upline team members by Email, Skype or SFI online chats to ask mind boggling questions. Being more experienced they would be ready to provide any needed help.

3. Always read Team mails – Weekly mails are very useful and helpful sources of information. Sometimes these mails can come from 3 - 4 generations ahead who have garnered experience in SFI. It pays to pay attention to their recommendations. I have been able to gain a lot from team mails and look forward to them every week. I learnt from team mails various ways I can hit my required 1500 VersaPoints every month and this has helped me to keep going.

4. TripleClicks Site – This is one of the very valuable tools to use in SFI. TripleClicks stocks thousands of products to be purchased. SFI products purchased can fetch VersaPoints for affiliates. Affiliates can also list their products for sale here and also help to market SFI products. Friends, family and associates can be referred to TripleClicks through affiliates’ gateways. Moreso, they can sign up as ECA and list products they do not want any more for sale. They can take part in auctions, take part in contests, earn MRPs and purchase items using these MRPs. They can generate lots of income from TripleClicks.

5. They can connect with other affiliates using the a2a facility, visit the forums to read and ask questions as well.

This way they won’t be bored or discouraged anymore.
