What kinds of investments should a new affiliate plan on making to succeed in SFI?

Dear Affiliates first you have to do daily work .At least you have to give one to two hours daily. This is called Time investment.
Second investment is to purchase few items from tripleclicks.com to maintain 1500 VP each months.
Third investment is to be a member of IAHBE,WAVE3,S-BILDER,ETC.
Fourth investment is to be advertise on social site,blogs,on your website,Etc.
What are the signs that a new affiliate is going to be a good one?

I understand this as really a new affiliate not somebody who has already performed some major actions like standing order/achieved some milestones like EA2 etc. Some body who is still in the very early stages with affiliate status only.. For this i would like to classify affiliates not as Good or Bad.
ACTIVE affiliates is one who will do things on has own initiative & even when he has doubts , he will not wait for the sponsor to reach him. A active affiliate doesn't require Supervision, but appreciation for his initiatives , Motivation for higher achievements & Guidance at critical stages
REACTIVE affiliates is one who will not do things on his initiative but will react positively to directions from sponsors. Sponsors may have to reach them more often for that. Hence they need Direction, reasonable supervision in addition to appreciation for their actions & Motivation of a higher level .
NON ACTIVE affiliates(I am not calling them inactive/Not-active because they have
taken initiative to join SFI) are those who are not initiative takers ,not immediate reactors &may call for repetitive prodding from Sponsors & hence may call for total supervision ,Direction more than appreciation & Motivation. If after couple of positive initiatives from sponsors if they are not responding better for Sponsor not to concentrate on them &spend more time for the first 2 categories & New developments.
