The first thing that you have to remember is that this newsletter is for your team benefit.
Some of the things I would put onto the newsletter are:
1. Success stories of you and other team members so it serves as an encouragement to all team members especially those who are not doing much.
2. Your local promotion for the team or promotions run by SFI/Tripleclicks.
3. Ideas how to develop your business to make it profitable and long term.
4. How to advertise their business.
5. Ideas how to develop their dreams, goals and objectives for their SFI business.

The things which make me proud to be a SFI affiliate are:
1. It is online and I could do it in my spare time.
2. It is a business I can share and do with my friends and family.
3. It is a people's oriented business.
4. It is designed for everyone to achieve success with the CSA programme.
5. There is loads of tips for success from Gary, and even people on forums.
6. There is a good mentoring programme with all your upline both CSA and PSA.
7. There is loads of rewards for achieving certain goals.
8. I have my own personal store in tripleclicks.

Since reading is so important to success, what book would be your #1 recommendation to SFI members and why?

Reading is indeed important to success, because reading make leaders and it gives us the ability to think outside the box.
My number one recommended book is Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude by Napoleon Hill and W. Clement Stone.
The main message of Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude is that your mind can be use for either positive or negative results. You are the one who determines whether you will flip to the side of Positive Mental Attitude or Negative Mental Attitude. Since you determine which side of your mind you will use, you are the most important person in the world.
In this book they went on to list and explain 17 Success Principles:
1. A Positive Mental Attitude.
2. Definiteness of Purpose.
3. Going the Extra Mile.
4. Accurate Thinking.
5. Self-Discipline
6. The Mastermind.
7. Applied Faith.
8. A Pleasing Personality.

What kinds of investments should a new affiliate plan on making to succeed in SFI?

I think the kind of investments a new SFI affiliate should make in order to succeed are:
1. Time; they must invest time into their business if they want it to work for them. a. Time in doing the daily, weekly and monthly to do list.
b. Time to read and do the Launchpad list.
c. Time to read about SFI.
d. Time to promote you business through various medium; both sponsoring and selling on Tripleclicks.
2. They need to read books, positive mental attitude books, because we are dealing with people and it is a people's business we need to do that.
3. Ensure that you go on standing order for at least one or two products.
4. Shop from your own store- Tripleclicks: it is no use owning a store and shopping some where else. That makes no sense.
5. They have to remember it is not a quick rich scheme.

Should we recruit our family members into SFI? Good idea or not?

This is a great question.
I think recruiting family members into SFI is a very good idea if you love your family. Because you are giving them an opportunity to make money and also as a family you can build a business empire.
Together every one will benefit and it is a win/win situation.
As a family you will be able to encourage each other.
I see all positives in this scenario.
Each family member will buy what they want and when they want to too.
They will be able to get their friends involved too.
I think this is the way forward for all SFI members.

What should an affiliate do if their sponsor is non-responsive?

Good question Michael.
It is no different than when you have your inactive PSA or CSA, you just need to continue to make contact with your sponsor, he may be an inactive sponsor.
But there will be someone in your line of sponsorship above your sponsor who will be willing to help you and be in constant communication with you.
The key Michael is what you bring to the table and how good a leader you have develop into in terms of being there for your team that you will develop.

This is a very good question and I like it.
The best way in doing so is to tell them about it and the benefits.
But more importantly is to lead by example, so you yourself must have a standing order in place and demonstrating with your standing order how it is benefiting you.
We can talk all we wanted to but unless people see what we are talking and it is benefiting us then they will not be part of it.

What do you do with affiliates who never do anything--despite your constant encouragement and offers of support?

Hi I like your question.
As a leader all you can do is keep encouraging all of your affiliates, both active and inactive. You just have continue to send them mails, TC Credits and Gifts card.
People are at different stages in their lives and we just have to see that and try to meet them there.
