I send Team Mail to everyone, PSA or CSA. My sponsor has only contacted me once or twice since I have been here, even not answering when I asked for her advice. I learned from this that many sponsors never contact their downline.

I had a CSA contact me because I had given him some TCredits when he made Executive Affiliate. I told him that I would be giving him a gift certificate at the beginning of the month so that he could either get IAHBE or something else to help him have 1500 VP because he had worked very hard. He was so thankful about the TCredits, but I could see that he was going to do well. He cashed in the gift certificate this month and he is now a Bronze Team Leader. I gave him more TCredits. I will continue to give them for rank.

I had five people last month who made EA and I sent them all a gift certificate for $30, which would cover IAHBE and/or go a long way toward obtaining their EA2 status this month. I only had 2 people cash them in. I gave them 5 days to do so. One was my daughter, a PSA, and one was my CSA. The others have been online this month but either didn't want the gift or don't want to work or whatever. Their loss!

We have many questions in the Forum about changing sponsors. Perhaps some of the people who want to change sponsors are our CSAs. Perhaps they will have their sponsor release them and they will want us to be their new sponsor. If that is the case then we have gotten a good new PSA. If they don't want to go through changing, we still make money from them, so we want to encourage them in any way possible. Keep ALL of your team members happy and you will see it in your earnings!

I am a member at several Social websites and some of them don't have any SFI members that I know of, so I put the links there.

I have gone to several stores and put up flyers, I am looking into having someone put them on cars at the mall and Walmart.

Join Wave3 and get extra stickers and lots of x-cards. Then ask friends to keep the cards (and flyers about SFI and TripleClicks) handy in their car and put a sticker in their window. When someone asks about it they can give them information. Be sure to have your contact info on these so that people can call to ask about it. Your friend may end up joining when they see how many people ask. If they do, ask them if you can have their sticker when they join Wave3 because that way you can get someone else to put it on their car! The more people advertising for you the better. And be sure that you reward your friend! Perhaps a Standing Order of something from TripleClicks that they use every month.

Put on of the links in your signature for your email and also for your text messages if this is available on your phone.

If nothing else, you have the chance to gain experience in sending team mails.

Whereas your upline may not have had the time or been able to motivate the re-assigned affiliate, you may not have many, so you may have more time to give toward getting to know the PSA. This might help you be able to motivate them and then they would become active.

We never know what we say that motivates someone. You may write to them once a week for months and never have a response and then they will suddenly have that aha moment and they will become very active.

While we tell people to never give up, we should maybe take our own advice. If we don't give up on these affiliates perhaps they will begin to come around and become one of your best affiliates.

Start with the Start button. When you understand everything there, move to SFI Basics. Once you understand that, move to Launchpad. Don't try to do more than you can understand at once. Work through the lessons. After you have finished them, go back through them as needed until you understand everything well enough to move to the Internet Income Course. Take your time.

Read through all of the Forum posts on your Home page. Keep up with the news. If you have questions, ask. Your upline is supposed to be there for you, but if they are not, go to the forum first and then perhaps support, the indexes or submit a ticket. Whatever it takes to get your question answered.

Work with your team and get to know them. When you are friends then you will be able to help each other better.

There was a person on the forum who was ready to quit. I could tell by what he had written that he didn't understand because he was not really English speaking. He even said his English was not good. I told him that he should get a translator first and see if that helped him because he would be missing out on a lot if he quit. He sent me a message back and told me that he had gotten a translator and now he was excited because he could understand the training.

This is one example, but I think that if you reach out to the person to see the reason that they want to quit and then you address that reason, you may be able to convince the person to stay.

I know this is a short answer, but I feel it is the best advice you can have in this situation because at least you have the person telling you that they are going to quit. That seems to me to be a call for help. So if we find out the reason that they need help then we may be able to help them.

The most overrated activity is earning VP. VP is pushed at the beginning as a means to get the affiliate into the Executive Pool so that they will earn money, however, we all know that these early earnings are minute in comparison to what will come if we work the business. This is really more for learning to work a business and build it up.

There is a lot of information available on the SFI site ob a daily basis, so encouraging affiliates to come here and explore the site daily is important, but often affiliates concentrate on the VP they can earn as an alternative to actually learning to run their business as a business.

We can't make money if we don't have sales of some kind, but that doesn't necessarily mean that we have to sell products or services of our own. The reason to connect with ECAs at TripleClicks is to help to promote their products, bringing more income for them as well as ourselves. If we have items that we want to sell or if we want to market our business online, then this is a plus.

The most underrated activity is Ask SC. Most people come to Ask SC so that they can earn VP and entries into the Daily Grand. It is one of the activities on the Homepage.

There have been complaints that answers are either shown to us more than once or there is a lot of copying going on. I agree. I don't like the system of advising the author. There is a place for that, though. What bothers me the most is the (mostly) Americans who say that it is supposed to be in English and so if it isn't they automatically mark it no. This is actually quite unfair to everyone else in the world and it reflects a poor attitude of us Americans. Who says that everything has to be in English? Yes, there is a translator here to translate pages to other languages for our foreign affiliates, but I have often told them to get a translator. The reason for this is because I feel that when an answer is posted in their language it is because they are using the translator and have written their answer in their language and then when they post it the answer doesn't get translated back to English. Therefore, if they have a translator not on SFI and they write an answer or a question, they will translate the answer to appear here.

I would rather see some kind of rating system that doesn't put down or discourage someone for grammatical errors or spelling errors. Answers should be rated on the value of the content. Is it fair to condemn a man because of one small mistake when the overall content of his character or his life is not bad? Is no one allowed to make a mistake or omit something? And what about telling someone that their answer is too short. There was a question here that asked how would you describe SFI in one sentence. When I did that I got many Advice answers that my answer was too short. I answered in one sentence, which is what was asked for. If I am asked what I do and I tell you and you don't think the answer is long enough, that is your problem. I have told you what I do.

Overall I think we forget that Ask SC is an extension of the Forum. We are teaching our PSAs and CSAs that the forum is a wonderful place to search for help if they can't get help from their sponsor or other upline.

I have found safelists to be very effective. In the first place, I was recruited through one. Secondly, it doesn't take long to review others' ads - maybe 10 or 20 seconds to earn points. Then you can advertise to several thousand people through the safelist for free by using your points.

There are also free classified ads and/or online sales pages that will let you advertise for free or for a small amount.

Never forget social networks. I am a member of one that promotes its own business and training, however, members can advertise their businesses for free on this site as well.

Blogs are good if you have the patience to write them. I don't, but I know many people who get a lot of recruits through blogs.

Offline marketing can include things such as posting fliers at grocery stores, laundromats, colleges, community centers, gyms...anywhere that people allow you to post. You can use the ones with your number and email or your SFI link on ter off strips at the bottom or you could put several in a place where people can pick them up. Sometimes even the library will let you post.

Another thing would be to line up some ECAs and ask if you can leave some fliers or gift cards in their store. A pizza place or a pawn shop may let you leave some.

Flea markets are a good place to set up and have available information. Then you are there to answer questions that people may have and to explain the business. You can also let the vendors know about TripleClicks and that they can post their items if they join.

Be sure to give out Gift Cards wherever you go. Leave them at the doctor's office, the dentist, restaurants, car dealers, anywhere.

If you are in an area where you can post flyers in laundromats, grocery stores, libraries or any other public bulletin board, then you might try printing the available flyers and Q-codes and posting them. Join Wave-3 and when you are parked somewhere someone may ask about TripleClicks. Getting into a discussion of this type could also lead to a discussion of SFI. If you can afford an ad in your local newspaper's classified section, place one. Or maybe there is a neighborhood newsletter that would let you advertise for free or a low cost.

There are many free places on the internet or places where you can earn credits for advertising. I joined from an ad placed at ListJumper.com. All you do there is view ads for 20 seconds and earn points which add up so that you can place ads. There are many such places.

Start a blog and talk about home based businesses. You can include your link as a business that is working for you.

Have a lot of enthusiasm about SFI and you will naturally attract people to the business or to TripleClicks and Pricebenders.

Someone already said Think and Grow Rich, which is probably the number 1 best book, but also up there with it is Rich Dad, Poor Dad. this book shows the different mindsets between the rich and the poor. Not quite as good as the time honored Think and Grow Rich, it is working its way to the top of anyone's list.

Other types of books would be those concerning internet traffic, advertising, marketing methods, etc. They are all good for business. And let's not forget that wherever people must pay income taxes, we should read and learn about them. If we don't then we take the chance of being cheated by a business manager or tax preparer who knows that we don't have any idea of what is allowable and what is not. We could not only end up in serious trouble and debt but we could also be cheated by the person we trusted to take care of this.

We should constantly be learning and keeping up with changes in business. After all, this is our livelyhood!
