I have been putting alot of thought into this myself recently. You first will want to gauge the size of your audience, I have thought this would be best done by posting flyers advertising the event and on the flyer requesting that they call to reserve themselves a seat. If you plan the event two or three weeks in advance, this will give you time to know how much room you are going to need to seat everyone which can cut your costs instead of renting a room for five hundred people maybe you only need fifty and a local restraunt will rent you a spot for less.

Secondly, you would want to be able to display it. This could be done with a projector if you have a larger crowd, or just a laptop if you have a smaller one. Don't have technology at your finger tips and tight on cash? Pick up a poster board and make yourself a sizable physical display to help, maybe make two or three if you have a larger crowd. You will want to include friendly pictures, and of course pertinent information.

Thirdly be prepared to be grilled. People are skeptical. Some people, like my uncle, are also synical. They simply cannot help but be negative. So negative, that they will simply take every turn they can to insult you, your product, your presentation, and they will see how many people they can dissuade. Don't let them damper your day, and respond as best you can to their attacks, positively and smiling.

I imagine if you have just these three things, a seminar will go quite well. Remember of course to dress professionally, and speak clearly. The more energetic you are, the more energetic your crowd will be.

Aside from information, such as staying above the greenline, you will want to give your new Affiliates positive results. I personally am sponsored under my mother and joined shortly after she did, it has been a learning experience for us both. But I have learned that advertising is the key, while doing your daily tasks for points is helpful, you will get nowhere in SFI unless you either buy into Co-Ops or advertise like crazy.

One incentive I would have liked to have had is a motivation to be advertising! Something, such as, telling your downline if they gain two EA2 members you will assign one to them. This motivates people to get out there and try harder.

You could also try rewarding folks with Tcredits or Certificates for making certain purchases on TripleClicks. This will make sure they are shopping for things to benefit not only themselves but the entire team.

Ultimately you want to be creative, think of ways to motivate your Affiliates to be successful. The more successful they feel, the more they will work on building their downline and repeating the same productive incentives.

Interesting question.

I find 16: The Big Funnel to be the most meaningful to me.

It not only informs you that alot of new members will be "tire-kickers" but also explains how getting just one person a month can turn into money into your pocket. It lets you know to not expect overnight success and to keep your head up all in one. It is to me the best motivator to continue working the SFI knowing that while I run into alot of nay sayers there will be those who catch it and run with it.

SFI and Tripleclicks growing bigger is good for you in multiple ways. The more people the more things that will be sold on TripleClicks. This means more products that could potentially lead to more sales. This also means more Affiliates whom will seek out more customers which means more sales. Ultimately it all boils down to more potential for money you could earn.

Badges can be conversation starters. If you mention a badge, such as "You will notice I am an E365 Finalist and a Fast Tracker from my list of badges," many will ask "What do those badges mean?" This allows you to divulge a little more information. It also shows you have taken the time not only to become knowledgeable about what you are presenting to them but have also put in the work to obtain special recognition. This works for gaining SFI members, ECA members, and TC shoppers.

You can also use badges to give objectives to be accomplished by your downline. Many people prefer to act to achieve goals. It gives them a personal sense of accomplishment, as well as gain them recognition. Check your downlines, recognize them for the badges they have gained, and mention how you believe it would be good of them to aim to gain a certain badge. This also could open the door for them to asking you for assistance. Tips and advice at how best to obtain it. Which could blossom into so much more.
