I believe that the biggest cause of people not being active in building their SFI business is because they feel they have been misled by the wording on the SFI gateway Pages.
The SFI gateways state clearly "Start earning within minutes" on one, and "Get paid Instantly" on the others.
We all know it doesn't work like that and some people will lose interest the moment they realise that this is not as easy as they expected.

I live in Africa, South Africa, to be exact. Although we don't have all the obstacles other African countries may have, we do have some.
1) Internet connection where I live in a remote area, is very unreliable.

I look at the positive and am grateful that I have at least got enough connection throughout the day, although intermittent, to attend to my SFI business.

2) Exchange rate ZAR/USD and import costs are very high. This makes it almost impossible to order physical

Initial actions of new affiliates can be misleading and their value to you should not be judged on that. Their real value will only become apparent during their second or third month.
Some new affiliates start off with a bang. They get the Fast Track Bonus and make EA within days. As soon as they hit their second month and find it a bit more difficult to accumulate enough VP, they lose interest.
By this time you have spent a lot of time on encouraging and mentoring them, while the slow

Without even realising that I would very soon have my own downline, I used MS Onenote and copied and pasted any tips and all info that helped me from the very beginning. That served me well. When I got my first CSA's and then PSA's I had it all handy and knew it would also help them.
I continue doing this and refer back to all these notes regularly and I find answers to most questions in my pasted notes.

Why do some affiliates find success with SFI in just weeks, while for others it takes months or years?

There are so many factors that plays a role in the rate of your success.

There are those who are fortunate enough to have funds available to buy their way up the ranks. They can also afford paid advertising and/or buying PSA's in quantities that will ensure at least some active members in their downline. These people are more likely to reach success in a short period of time.

Compare this to the affiliate with no funds. They joined to earn money, to enable them to progress.

You need to sow before you reap. I think that affiliates must spend at least their first month getting comfortable with all SFI has to offer. Once they have gained the knowledge and understand the whole system, they will be busy building a team who, with good examples to follow, will help build the income. Affiliates should be in regular contact with their sponsors, specially during the firt 2 weeks - otherwise how will they know what to duplicate. My top movers are the ones who contacted me daily
