When they ask you, why they should join SFI, just tell them the truth.
Do you want make a living from home and live anywhere on this earth or you would like to go to work from your home to your boss and drive in traffic over a hour?
It is simple, SFI is future, it is real business, but many people has to change to get to future. We all will work from home one day start now.
Rent office or store is to expensive but your home can be your office & you have no boss just you.
All this said, you have to make them believe is it real and it will start with you how successful you are in this bisiness

What's the difference between being an SFI affiliate and having a traditional business, and which is better?

it is very simple, I have my own business for many years, It was very hard to start and I needed a lot of money.
With SFI there is no risk, you invest some money from start and you will follow LaunchPad and rules of SFI and you are done.
All is up to you.
I truly think this business is a future, you will work from home & you can live anywhere, not close to your work and pay big payments for house or drive 1 hour to work.
Very simple. I'm happy I find SFI

How should I advise my ECAs on which products they should sell and what prices they should charge?

I would say, if people has unique products, or product what we need in our daily life it is easier to sell.
Price should be lower then anywhere else and quality is important as well.
All said this, it will take time to find out what kind of products will sell best.
It will take some time to find out, but with determination and patience it all will work out.
I believe we all have to be creative to find out.

Have business card ready, and start talking, many people would love to work from home.
Start with telling about selling stuff on Triple Clicks, most people are interested make little money from selling stuff on internet.
After you will see how much interest they will have and continue with talking about SFI.

Can you have fruit on young tree first year? No, maybe you will have little, but next year you will have more, only what you have to do is take care about your tree.
Same in any business you have to invest money first. With SFI you don't have to invest big money.
Log in every day and remember "Readers are leaders"
If you are serious about SFI you will find a way to success, maybe it will be with small steps, but each step will get you on the top.
