What is your experience or your opinion about running contests (and providing prizes) to motivate your PSAs?

I have tried to understand what use it will be.I found it useful in motivating affiliates but personally I am low at resources in order to reward my team.In due course of time I may start encouraging my team through reward system on their achievements.

As was,I found that new affiliates have a desire to participate in the Tripleclicks auction as they learn.We can reward them with small bits of T credits and encourage them to buy T credits.This certainly helps.
How do I encourage my affiliates to set up a Standing Order?
