I'm an ECA wanting to sell my products internationally. How do I determine how much to charge for shipping to other countries that is fair to both me and my customers?

you can to to amazon.com and similiar sites and login and try to make purchases. when you checkout you will find shipping options and then you can find out how much these international ecommerce sites charge for shipping to each country
suppose you sell an item for 10$ then go to amazon.com and other ecommerce sites and check 10$ items and check shipping charges. this will help you determine charges
Flat rate shipping: A single rate for all orders Price based shipping: The shipping price is based on the total price of the items being purchased. The price may go either up or down as the total price of the order increases, but the price tiers are defined by the price of the order.
Weight based shipping: The shipping price is based on the weights of the products ordered.
Real-time shipping rate calculators: The shipping rate is calculated in real-time with a particular shipping carrier such as FedEx, UPS, or USPS.

What is the best way to help my affiliates who can't afford to purchase anything?

hi. thanks everyone for the replies. Yes i have done most of then things mentioned . The big challenge comes after the first month when gaining vp by JUST completing the actions doesnt seem enough to get qualifying vp
Advertising free is also good & I do recommend them to my affiliates
But the net is already riddled with such ads by millions of SFI affiliates that newbies ads hardly go noticed
I am also trying to find some other ways that newbies with not much money to spend can do to have an effective sponsoring

How should you advise your downline--who have never run a business before--how to proceed with advertising?

The best way is to advise them to start cheap or free ads so they can see for themselves the results firsthand
Getting a new account in google adwords and microsoft bing ads gives you free coupons which will help them to advertise for FREE using those coupons.Depending on the results they can then pay more money to keep the ads running or stop them
Both these companies have text ads and banner ads and eare easy to run
You should advice them on which landing pages to use and also help them with the ads text and banners so they can get maximum benefit & ROI from their ad campaigns

The normal way to earn vp is to make purchases for yourself and do the daily/weekly monthly tasks
But
There are many many other ways
Join
Take part in auctions. Use the tcredits you have to take part in auctions which will give you VP and mrp
Join wave3 and refer people and earn tcredits and VP
Become an ECA and sell products and earn COMMISSIONS and VP !!
REFER people and join them under your downline in sfi & You earn VP when they upgrade or make purchases !!! the more people there are in your downlines the More vp you make when your downlines and their downlines make sales or purchases
SFI is about building a future so Just making purchases and completing tasks wont get you a long way. The thing to do is refer people to your affiliate page and get them to join. You not only earn VP but also commissions and a steady Income in the long run

One of the best things to do is to start an advertising co op and offer your affiliates signups for joining your co op
You can get plenty of signups by starting an advertising campaign and splitting the costs as well as the joinings with your affiliates
