Let the affiliate know that he/she is not alone. I am sure that most if not all of us had to start small, and eventually as we use the resources of SFI to their fullest, we will see better income. That's the way most businesses are; you do not see a big income right away.

I have a large downline, but few are advertising SFI. How can I get them to start advertising and marketing SFI?

Encourage them to submit SFI ads to some free ad sites. If they are persistent who knows? They might get some affiliates that way if they are short on cash.

How much should an SFI affiliate spend on advertising each month?

It all depends on your budget for marketing your business. Some people can spend more while others only minimal. If you cannot afford much well, try to find other ways to advertise, such as placing free ads on a consistent basis and doing so with various advertising agencies.

There are some strategies and tools designed to help people sponsor affiliates without spamming. There are membership sites but the only thing is that it comes with a price tag and you are not guaranteed new affiliates at all. I would suggest you sticking with SFI Co-op program and purchase new affiliates that way.
