To continue to grow as an SFI leader, I have found that one must continue to read.

>Did I mention reading? One of the prime requirements of being a leader is being a good reader, By reading one can stay abreast of changing parameters within SFI and how they may affect your affiliates.

>One should also be a good listener. When your affiliates write to you always try to understand what they are trying to convey. If you have a problem understanding don't be afraid to request

Hello Abraham,

You should communicate with your Sponsor or Co-Sponsor as often as you deem necessary. I say that with the following thought in mind.

Communication is one of the primary requirements for success regardless of the venture. To communicate with your Sponsor and/or Co-Sponsor doesn't have to mean that you need help. Your ideas are worth communicating to them as well as receiving information from them. Communicating with anyone within the SFI organization is one

Having been successful a sales person off and on for many years earning a living and supplementing my income I have found that the main pre-requisites to good salesmanship are:

1. Know your product.
2. Believe in and trust your product.
3. Presentation.

If you lack either of these, your efforts will result in minimal profits at best. There are other good guidelines to follow but the absence of any one of these produces very little.

Any of the other

Hi Tami,

Your question is a very good one because it involves speaking before a group of people and selling an idea, a system, and or a program.
First and foremost a presentation has two purposes in life.
1. To present a program/business to an organization.
2. To recruit as many of those attending the presentation to your program, specifically to become affiliates on your Team.
Your presentation should cover the history of your business venture and the many aspects

A very good question.

The first time I encountered Ask SC< I thought here's another new toy for SFI to play with. Boy how off base was that thought. Like someone else stated I just wanted to make sure I got my VP. After reading the first 10 responses I decided to go further so that I could get the extra drawing entry. Since that first day what has evolved is very remarkable to say the least, well for me anyway.

Basically by participating in Ask SC one gets privy to the

Why is setting goals so important in becoming successful in SFI?

Setting goals is very important to becoming successful in SFI as well in any other endeavor that one may pursue. When we set or establish goals we are committing to a set of principles of our own choosing and in effect saying that we care.

Goal setting is important because we are establishing a set of criteria that we will do in order to achieve our ultimate goal. So the bottom line about setting goals is that, they are the steps of the ladder that we intend to climb to get there.

I have affiliates come to me for help who are not part of my team--should I help them or send them away?

You should always respect all affiliates that may come to you for assistance. All in all we are all on the SFI Team and any assistance that we can give to others can do nothing but improve the SFI Motto of together we all succeed. Besides your response to an affiliates question just might be the ice breaker that turns that affiliate into an above average affiliate. You never know exactly what may or may not motivate an affiliate and that, I think, is the bottom line. Assistance however slight

What attitudes make the difference between achieving mediocrity and success?

Look at mediocrity as being an attitude of acceptable stagnation, whereas success is one of moving forward and growing.

Often we like to blame others for our lack of success when all we need do is look in the mirror. There are a number of steps to success but I believe that the first one should always to set goals for each and every month and then work to achieve those goals. If you can do this then your success will come. Any endeavor requires personal effort and concentration.
