If you were to start over with SFI, what would you do differently, knowing what you do now about this business?

Knowing what I know now, I definitely would have taken it more seriously instead of thinking this was some type of "pie in the sky" program where I might make some money. Had I given it 110% like I'm doing now, and having the mindset that this is actually my business...who knows the position I'd be in now.

The key is to lead by example. New affiliates, in a way, are a lot like your children, meaning that they are going to copy what you say & do.

So if you have any success such as sponsoring, advertising, or sales, make sure you let your team know what & how you did it.

The most effective way for you to succeed is by helping others achieve their goals.

Also make sure you constantly communicate with your team & let them know that you're always there for them

Is there such a thing as helping your affiliates TOO much?

Yes and no. You want to help them as much as possible to build their own active downline so they can succeed. You want to make sure they are well educated within the SFI system so they are aware of how everything works. But you can also provide too much help to where they become dependent on you to do everything for them. That won't do them or you any good.

An affiliate logs in after a long period of inactivity. Should I acknowledge this? And if so, what should I say?

You should definitely acknowledge them right away. Welcome them back with open arms and assure them that you are here to help them in any way you can. Let them know that SFI is experiencing rapid growth every day and how they can benefit from that growth by staying active and by promoting their business using whatever means they have available.

What would you consider to be too much and unnecessary communication with your team?

I feel that once a week is sufficient unless they personally request more from you.

Just let your team know that they are always welcome to contact you if they ever have any questions or need help with anything.

If you constantly send emails to them, they will eventually get annoyed & tired of receiving them & you could possibly lose them forever. Some will welcome them from you, but the majority won't.

I know that I don't like to be constantly bombarded

Sometimes your sponsor just doesn't have the answers you're looking for.
If that's the case, try contacting your co-sponsor or another member of your upline.
Keep going up the chain until you get what you're looking for.
If you don't have any luck with any member of you upline, then contact SFI support.
Hope this helps.

First and foremost, you need to stay educated. Stay up to date with any changes or updates that occur. That way, if any of your downline runs into a roadblock or has any questions, you will be able to handle it in a timely manner.
Another key point is communication. If you don't communicate with your downline, they will leave.
Last but not least, stay positive and focused. I haven't seen a business owner yet that hasn't had any hurdles to overcome. That just makes them stronger and

They are a great incentive for rewarding your "action takers."
When you reward one of your team members for their achievements, it shows them that you are sincere and you really care about their success.
It also gives them the incentive to work that much harder.
They also see that you are paying attention to them and that their efforts are not going unnoticed.

What should a new SFI affiliate focus on to ensure a good financial return in their first month?

Chances are, they won't get that much of a financial gain their first month. The key thing is to study and learn the business. A brick and mortar business owner just doesn't go out & buy a building & open their doors to customers without first knowing about the business they're operating.
