6. They are able to develop and deploy very successful strategies in doing sales and generating signups. Look at the power and activity of their downlines and their VP Ledger.

Some say a superstar is born not made, while others say a superstar is made not born. However, irrespective of the side of the spectrum you are, what matters is the realisation of this potential, whether born or made and until it manifests, one cannot be so sure.

This is your business and it is you who devise your strategy based on the goals you want to pursue, so it is expected you add your own touches in conformity with your objectives. However, there are some aspects of SFI tools/system that are restricted to tweaking like banners and text ads. For you to be able to add your personal touches to text ads for example, you have to seek permission from SFI and must be at least a STL.

This means you have may wiggle room to manoeuvre in some other aspects like face-face prospecting and team building. SFI gives various guidelines in some aspects of this business and like I said, they are guidelines, so you may want to tweak those and make them more directly relevant to your objectives.

Some affiliates have their own website for the purpose of taking control of the way they want to run their respective SFI businesses, by applying their own strategies and giving it their personal touches in order to personalise them for achieving their individual objectives. It is important to point out that there are guidelines provided by SFI which your are expected to incorporate in running your personal SFI website for carrying out your SFI business.

Also, you can decide to create your own system you are comfortable with in as much as it is real and frankly represents what SFI stands for. There is nothing wrong to work your team members for example, through a simplified system or a success plan from day one. A system is better to the extent that it can be adjusted to suit different scenarios or applied to overcome immediate and future challenges faced by its affiliates, so several tools/sub-systems here are neither sacrosanct nor silver bullet to solving the all problems.

As you can see, SFI provides some tools and has a predefined business concepts, however, there is nothing wrong in your own style, incorporating your system and touches where allowed, provided you do it professionally and not to bring the integrity of SFI into disrepute because a soiled finger spoils the rest.

This person is your PSA and now informing you that his/her desired kind of job is filling out forms and typing. Personally, I do not still think your PSA desire is entirely out of place because you may be able to adapt this skill or desire to his/her SFI business.

Let’s look at it from this perspective: When we are building our SFI businesses, don't we do a lot of typing and forms filling? How many several forms do we fill daily to register in traffic exchanges, safe lists, text ad exchanges, classifieds sites and are we not always typing to accomplish all these on a daily basis?

What I am driving at is that as SFI affiliate, building your business will require a lot of typing and filling out forms one way or the other, so you may turn your PSA's passion into a useful tool to be applied in building his/her business.

These are what you will make your PSA understand, however, tell him/her that the income he/she will generate here does not really depend on how many forms filled or how fast he can type, but that if he/she carry this passion and skill into SFI, he/she will have the potential to earn more income than the ordinary form filling and typing job.

Also tell your PSA if he/she gets a job built only on typing and form filling, the income from it will just be for that. Whereas, if he/she deploys those passion, desire and skills to SFI business, there is the potential to earn from various income sources; sales, sponsoring, ECA, member listing, SFIPPA etc

First, let me outline the qualifications to win:

1. You receive 5 shares of the Zackpot if you have a top 10 score.

Second, there is no amount of tips that will guarantee a win, however, below are my best tips:

1. Since a top score is required to win between 1 and 5 shares of the Zackpot, then it is important to study the information screen that appears before the next feature card is drawn before clicking on the CONTINUE button. This is because it gives useful information on your points and your positions which will help you understand how far you are from or close to the position required to win.

2. Ensure to keep within the 2 minutes time out period, so you may need to set audio reminders.

3. Watch out for the composition of the initial 5 or 6 cards that are display because they will give you a little indication of the composition of the remaining cards, which helps to choose; Higher or Lower.

4. You may also get a highly valuable indication of the composition of the remaining cards by using the free PEEK feature which gives you the statistics of how many remaining card are Higher or Lower than the featured card. You then have to use this statistics to make a smart move on the next card by choosing Higher if there are more Higher cards left or Lower if there are more Lower cards left. This may be tricky as the draw may anticipate this choice, so do not be too carried away by this. You should therefore also be willing to take RISKS where necessary.

5. Where you are not sure of the next available choice to make, you may use the PASS feature to buy time, in order to improve the odds of your ability to make the next smart move. This costs from 1 Tcredit anyway.

6. A very useful way in my opinion, to start building your team is to follow the 3-step plan because it appears simple in explanation and easy to follow as shown below:

1. Become an Executive Affiliate (EA) and strive to remain at least in this rank every month. You may choose to maintain this rank by transfer buying, TC sales, action VP, standing order etc. Maintaining this status is necessary in order to enjoy executive benefits and more importantly for duplication purposes, because you are not going to encourage your team members to become EAs when you are not.

2. Recruit 5 affiliates, using appropriate and relevant marketing methods. You can make do with the ones at the Marketing Centre. In addition, let me just highlight some here; you may set up your own website/blog, you may opt to purchase S-builder co-op, PSA To Go and signups from other suppliers. You may also distribute x-cards to targeted audience, place flyers in strategic locations. Social network advertising is another source of signups but I will advice you have your own domain name in order to have a personalised gateway to promote in social media, otherwise the regular and now ubiquitous SFI gateways may not be allowed in some social network sites like Facebook.

3. You do not just need to build wide, but it is very important to build deep in your downline in order to have as many as12 generations, so achieving this means you have to teach and support your 5 affiliates to carry out these 3 steps. This is called duplication and the more these 3 steps model is duplicated deep into your downline, the larger your downline and your income as a result, and before you know it you would have built an active SFI team that will ultimately shoot you to a Diamond Team Leader.

In conclusion, I must add that the road is often bumpy and difficult because you may not easily see success along the way but you need to remain hard working, be dedicated, patient, focused and persistence, in order to overcome any obstacle, for success will definitely come some where and some how, good luck.

The E365 competition is good because it has the potential to keep you up to speed with those affiliates in your class in particular and in some cases, in your SFI business in general. As you progress in the competition you earn valuable VP and when you ultimately win the title you receive a plaque for distinguishing yourself and a cool badge which are important recruitment and duplication tools. Also, as a winner, you will be qualified to participate in the Finalist Draw for a period of time.

However, missing out in all these is not the end of the road as far as your SFI business is concerned because there are many successful affiliates who were knocked out of the competition. The bottom line is to remain focused, determined, hard working and persistence going forward and not be discouraged as a result, but you may need to still encourage your affiliates who are knocked out of the competition by telling them the following:

1. The ultimate measure of a man/woman is not how many times he/she falls, but their ability to rise again after each fall and liken the situation to many successful and world renowned business people like Bill gates who were college drop outs.

2. Tell them to focus on building a successful team and to aggressively engage in TC sales in order to earn good income. Let them know that the ability to earn leverage and residual income in the most important success in this business and that the E365 competition is a bonus which may not necessary turn them to successful SFI affiliates.

3. Tell them to look at the affiliate profile of very successful SFI affiliates and they will be surprised to see some of them are not even E365 finalist, not to talk of being champions. Tell them to visit the Power Rank Leaderboard and the Country Leaders Leaderboard, where they will see that some of the top 10 affiliates are not or were not in the E365 competition, so if these affiliates can be that successful or can achieve such milestones, why not them also.

4. Tell them to learn from their mistakes and to use the experience to guide and support their team to engage and go as far as possible in the competition, and to eventually win it. This will be another achievement for them if they successfully guide and support their teams to achieve what they could not, of which as sponsors, may stand to derive some benefits too.

5. Tell them you are here to help them achieve higher glories than the benefits E365 competition and not to allow themselves to be distracted by this singular failure, but instead to open up and work with you in order to overcome many more challenges in the future as this will be a better way to secure their financial independence; by looking forward and not backwards.

To conclude, I must emphasise that as a sponsor you need to do all you can to ensure you support and assist your team members to appreciate the significance of the E365 competition and to progress accordingly, from the very day they joined, otherwise it may be too late to bring them back on track when they go astray.

Third, what kind of convincing are you doing? Are you convincing them, for example, on how to spend/buy or you are convincing them by promoting the benefits, allowing them to make spend/buy decisions themselves? Your convincing may be more effective if it is perceived to be selfless and non exploitative.

Fourth, have you been able to determine their preferences as far as their objectives in joining SFI is concerned? If not then you may be selling chicken to who needs beef or convincing a thirsty person to buy a cigar instead. You need to understand that your PSAs and CSAs may have other interest they may like to pursue, rather than what you are convincing them about.

Fifth, are you overloading them with information and complexities that it ends up confusing them instead of convincing them?. Have your reputation been tested and trusted by your team members? If not build one by creating an impression that you are here to help not exploit, guide not command, and show you are knowledgeable in SFI business in order to build trust.

Finally, you must be seen to be doing what you are convincing your team members to do, other wise you may be building a castle in the air.

Managing the team holistically requires a different strategy from micro targeting or providing personalised attention to every member, so my opinion is set out below:

MANAGING A LARGE ACTIVE DOWNLINE

1. Send regular and consistent team messages on ways to continuously take advantage of marketing and sponsoring skills, referring them to internal and external resources where necessary.

2. Assist and guide them to all income generating activities, explaining the benefits of each while at the same time emphasising the need to concentrate on areas they have strength. Also make efforts to encourage them to improve their understanding in other areas of interest where they may lack understanding.

3. It may also be very necessary to provide a simplified version of SFI model, using a very convenient medium/media that will be easily accessible to your team members.

4. The nature of this business is very dynamic, so endeavour to direct and assist your team to resources that will continuously make them competitive and improve their awareness regarding changing event in the industry.

5. Do not just concentrate your efforts on your first generation, but frequently look deeper in order to be informed on the goings on, so that you can expand your reach as far as possible. With this understanding, you will be better placed to engage in holistic coordination and guidance as much as possible.

6. Organise physical and/or virtual meetings of your team members for frequent brainstorming and discussion sections in order to access the needs and concerns of all in real time, where solutions are offered.

I take cognisance of the fact that you said 'new' creative ways, so I will not bother you with much of the over talked about ways to sign up TC members, but to rather go straight to point some new and creative methods I am currently using as follows:

1. Be prepared to do the unusual in order to attract people to TC, so it may be a newly creative ideal to move away from mass or nationalised prospecting strategy, but to instead localise and personalise your advertisement efforts. Carve out a niche from the hyper advertisement target and micro target some other audiences that may not be in the main stream e.g. those with disabilities, who may want to be independent as a result of their circumstance and you will be surprised to see how some could become interested and hard working.

2. I have used the presence of local ECAs to signup TC members by specifically promoting the store in the local area it is located and highlighting to the benefits the locals will derive by purchasing from that ECA. Place flyers on customers’ car windscreens in shopping malls, on car park of similar businesses and in surrounding houses. Have the X-cards handy and distribute them to those you physically come in contact with at these parks and other places in your local area.

3. I do not much promote the entire TC but I choose particular products, ECAs and activities to promote and I target people in my local and county (not country) wide area who I assume may be interested or are pursuing similar interest elsewhere. The catch is always to promote your competitive advantage, in order to expose the benefits of buying from TC, which they do not get where they currently purchase from.

4. Engage in face-to-face/word-of-mouth prospecting like inside elevators of tall buildings, on your main street, cinema buildings, commuters’ stations, bars/coffee shops, fast food joints etc. You should when necessary, collect basic contact information like email address or phone numbers from your prospects, in order to follow up your conversation with them if necessary. Second and subsequent communications are more effective, at least than the first. You may also need to complement these efforts with some tools like X-cards, gift cards etc where and when necessary and since it is face-to-face, you can minimise waste by understanding the circumstance of your prospect from responses and interest shown before you decide to give out a gift card.

5. Place advertisements that captivate attention in your local health and beauty newspapers where you can promote some health and well being products at TC. The idea is to deviate from the hype of electronics, jewelry, fashion and the like, but to instead focus on special products that deliver special benefits to particular ‘special’ people. This is why it is necessary to use specialised medium to promote those health and well being products.


To conclude, let me add that the idea here is not to discourage the traditional online global prospecting methods, but rather to use these suggestions as complementary methods to boost your chances of TC signups further. However, these suggestions are designed to do something different from the norm because you make huge difference whey your promotion methods and your target audience are uncommon and unmatched.

You may need to make it simple for your downline to benefit from your guidance on how they can build their own downline, so my suggestions are as follows:

1. Teach them how to become an Executive Affiliate (EA) and to maintain at least this status monthly. Teach them that they can be EA by doing sales, transfer buying, Setting up a standing order where they can, including completing some other action VP in their VP Ledger.

In addition, teach and guide them on where and how to advertise, using all relevant methods like placing ads on classified sites (free and Paid), placing flyers in relevant places, distributing x-cards to targeted people, face-to-face prospecting, social media, subscribing to S-builder, purchasing PSA To Go, buying signups from other suppliers in TripleClicks or outside of it.

You may also need to teach them to purchase a domain name in order have their personalised gateways for prospecting for signups. You can also support them by teaching them to set up promotional/landing pages, blogs or their own website. If they need technical support you can show them how to set up free websites and blogs in Word Press and Bloggers for a start, in order to increase their chances of building their downline with website/blog visitors who may convert to SFI affiliates.

3. Teach them that it is imperative for them to also teach these 5 affiliates to do these same 3 steps, which is DUPLICATION. Duplication will enhance the depth of the downline and as a consequence, increase the chances to earn more income from their activities and when at this stage, it may become strategically prudent for any of the members of your downline to seek team leader rank.

Finally, you should also teach them to Aim High and Dream Big by introducing them to THE PLAN, in order to set the stage for them to reach for greater heights and finally reach that position of Diamond Team Leader (DTL).
