You don’t have to criticize, just tell it as it is. If your affiliate sees it as criticism, maybe this business isn't for him/her. I've learned much more from straight words from my sponsor, than from sugarcoated words from someone who is scared not to scare me off. Your sponsor knows better. That is why he/she is a Team Leader.

This is not an easy business. It takes hard work and determination to succeed and sometimes a thick skin; because 99% of people are going to reject what you have to offer them. Just remember, it’s not you they are rejecting, it’s a successful future for themselves that they are rejecting. Never take it personally. They are the ones who are losing out here.

I don’t think we are born leaders. All of us are born with some skills and yes, some are born with natural leadership skills, but the rest of us can learn that skills. There are many places where you can acquire these skills. SFI have a huge knowledge base in it’s ASK SC, Forums, a2a friends social network, EBooks and other products at TripleClicks store, Launch Pad Lessons, Articles, Tips and Alerts, etc. You can just click on any of the tabs for them or ask someone in SFI.

To be a Team Leader in SFI you need to be able to do certain things (Explaned in articles like "SFI's simple 3 step plan" and "How to be an awesome sposor"):
1. Become Executive Affiliate at first and then Team Leader.
2. Sponsor at least 5 active PSA’s (Personally Sponsored Affiliates).
3. Teach them to do the same.

To become EA you need to gather 1500 VersaPoints each month. SFI shows you how in easy steps. You can do it the easy way by getting a StandingOrder, but I suggest that you do it in the first 2 months at least by doing all your actions like Getting Started Actions, Intermediate Actions and Monthly, Weekly and Daily Actions, because by doing that you get to know the ins and outs of the business. Also read some of the articles and launch pad lessons. It not only provides you with valuable VP, but also teach you a lot at the same time.

To become a Team Leader you need to gather at least 3000 VersaPoints each month. That can be a maximum of 2000 SalesVP and 1000 ActionVP. A standing order of 1500VP plus other items bought and/or sold can provide you with the 2000SVP. The 1000AVP will have to be gathered by doing the actions on your To Do List everyday (About 497AVP/mth) plus by bidding in auctions, playing EagerZebra games, downloading songs and Member Listings. You can gather maximum 800AVP by doing these actions, but you need 800 TCredits to do it. So, to become Team Leader is going to take some investment, but every successful business needs some kind of investment, but later it would pay for it by itself.

To sponsor PSA’s you have to advertise or order them through an advertising co-op. Advertising can be done through free or paid ads. If you advertise it will take some investment in the form of time and/or money. If you are pressed for time the best option is to partake in an advertising co-op or order PSA’s from an ECA at TripleClicks, but that is going to need investment in the form of money.

To teach your PSA’s to do what you do is going to take a little bit more effort and skills. This is where leadership skills can be handy, but not the all and all. What I said previously about knowledge is beginning to count here and now. Everything that you would have learned about the business if you did all the actions mentioned above, is going to be very valuable to you from here on. Knowledge is power and it will give you the confidence to lead your team. Also you would have learned many leadership skills applicable to SFI.

You will also have gathered quite a substantial amount of VP and Badges so far that you would be quite the example that your team members would want to follow if they want to become like you, Successful. You can’t expect someone to do something you haven’t done or achieved. If you did, they will also want to. Now all you have to do further is make them feel welcome and cared for, guide them through all the steps you went through, point out the stumbling blocks you came across and the mistakes you made, motivate them and reward them and there you have it. You are a SFI team leader.

Once again, work with the workers. It doesn't matter whether it is PSA’s or CSA’s. Yes, you get higher commission values from your PSA’s than from your CSA’s, but with the odds of only about 1% of all affiliates becoming active, we can’t be choosy who we “pursue”. Send Team Mails and Newsletters to all your PSA’s and CSA’s, whether they are active or not, but work more closely with your movers, all of them,PSA's as well as CSA's. They can all be very valuable in your business.

Shortcuts in normal Business?
According to me: No, nothing worthwhile comes without effort and dedication. Looking for shortcuts is a sure recipe for disaster.

However, SFI have some unique features to help affiliates.

1. Launchpad training - Nothing beats the value of knowledge, but it takes time and effort.

2. Ask SC - Frequently asked questions with multiple answers is available to every affiliate that want to promote his/her business by learning.

3. Forum - It is a platform where you can get news, tips and answers on every subject possible that might be of importance to you.

4. To-Do-Lists - This is a practical and simple guide to help you make the most of your everyday actions. It shows you step by step how to manage your business by doing all your duties in simple easy to understand steps:
*Daily Actions
*Weekly Actions
*Monthly Actions
*Intermediate Actions
*Getting Started Actions
*Etc.

Sfi has one of the best tested business plans in the world. It is still standing after many years and improved all the time. Use everything to your disposal and work hard.

I would not recommend attempting to set up your SFI business on Autopilot. Nothing or no one cares about your business as you do.

Any real business needs some investment in the form of time and money to make any progress. SFI is a REAL business and it’s your business.
You should lead by example by doing exactly what you expect your team members to do. Sign in each day and do your daily actions, read the information and tips provided and support your team members along the way.
There are a few things that you can put on autopilot so to speak. You can put in a Standing Order for 1500 or more VersaPoints to qualify for EA automatically every month and you can buy 1 or more shares in an advertising co-op to receive PSA’s every month without having to canvas for them yourselve. Another way to receive PSA’s every month automatically is to buy them from an ECA at TripleClicks. The share in the advertising co-op as well as the PSA’s from the ECA can be a standing order. There are some other miner automations you can use, but it’s not of much use to you. You have to be at your own business every day.

Different people will measure success in different ways, but most of us are in SFI for one reason and one reason only: To earn an income, whether it be an additional income or a main income. So, we are here to make money and not to see how many badges, PSA’s, CSA’s, etc. we can get, although those are indicators of our progress towards success.

To measure our success we must start out by setting some short term and long term goals. Your long term goals are your ultimate goals you’re setting for yourself and it’s against them that you must measure your success. They must be high enough to make a huge difference in your life and motivate you. It must be something worth fighting for. It’s that part of your goals that must be high enough to not be changed all the time because you reach them to quickly and easily, like becoming very wealthy or earning a huge income. But it must be specific. It can’t be just in general. That is too vague. They might even seem too high to some pessimists, but if someone else are able to achieve it, so can we.

Our short term goals we use to measure our progress towards reaching our long term goals. They mustn't be too high, especially in the beginning, but also not to low so that you don’t have something to work for. By reaching some of them each month also help motivating us to do even better and that way you can measure how successful you were during that month towards reaching your monthly goals. So, your short term goals may be to get so and so much badges, VP, PSA’s, CSA’s, PRM’s and ECA’s, this or that rankings, so or so much money, etc. per month, after 6 months or a year, etc., and by reaching those goals you are working towards your long term goals and you can measure your success by how many of that short term goals you have achieved. Ultimately that would suggest in what measures you have achieved your ultimate goals.

Your Goals Tab at SFI can help you a lot in setting and achieving your long and short term goals and in measuring how successful you were in achieving them.

Firstly, read the question carefully, making sure you understand what is asked from you. Your answer must not only be relevant to the question, it must answer it completely and to the point. It must give new insight to the problem at hand.

If you don’t have enough knowledge, do research about the subject. See it as an opportunity to learn. Check all the facts and make sure your answer is the truth. Read as many other answers about the question at hand. Copy and paste them in a word document for later reference and information, but don’t copy it in your answers. Also write your answer first in a word document and when you’re finished, copy it to ASK SC.

Don’t just give links to articles or pages in SFI or on the internet. Rather write what is written on those pages.

Write in simple straight forward clear English without any difficult terms and words. It must be clear to everyone what you are saying. Use your own words. Make it your own.

Your answer must be in easy to read format, with paragraphs, numbers, bullets, etc. And check your grammar and spelling. Don’t use all caps. You don’t want to shout.

Try to enter your answers as soon as possible, but don’t rush it. Rather take your time and study all available information (including other answers).

Length doesn't matter as long as it is relevant, interesting and informative, but it must be at least 300 characters long.

The answer to this question should be seen in conjunction to a previous question we had: “How do I only get serious PSA’s” and the best answer to that question according to me was to filter your prospects before enrolling them. They must know the truth about SFI. Then only, although not guaranteed, you’ll get serious PSA’s.

This is a business you have when you’re an affiliate in SFI and you must treat it as such. Any business needs an investment in the form of time and most certainly money to succeed. And SFI is no different. Although it is free to join and SFI claim it’s not necessary to ever invest a dime, all serious business owners know it’s impossible to grow a business without investment.

In SFI it is possible to earn an income without investing money, because there are 6 different income streams possible, but then it would take a very long time to build your income and your business to a level where it will be very lucrative. And even though there are lots of ways to promote your business for free, to make it really take off, it might need some kind of budget for advertising.

Filter your prospects by telling them all of this beforehand. You might scare off a lot of prospects, but you will save a lot of time and effort wasted on the so-called tire kickers. The ones you finally enroll will do what is necessary, because they are serious about the business.

Also tell this to the PSA’s you already have. Rather scare off the ones who are going to waste your time in any case and work with the ones who are serious.Show them the benefits they will finally reap.
