One of the advantages this business has is the fact that it’s an international business. It is not limited to territories and by boarders. Those people who live in those countries where people are not yet comfortable to online purchases and payment can successfully conduct their SFI businesses internationally.

To get them involved and active in SFI I would recommend that you promote the international nature of the business – the number of countries where affiliates come from, the number of products TC has, the number of SFI affiliates and TC members there are, the number and location of ECAs.

If you are targeting a particular country, say your own, mention the current number of PSAs and ECAs in your country. Promote your local ECAs. Have a look at testimonials that have been completed by your countrymen and use those.

If you get enquiries about Triple Clicks and how it works, remember it’s most likely because of their lack of confidence in purchases and payments online. Explain the system to them well. If you have made online purchases from Triple Clicks yourself, use your experience as an example.

Let the people know that this is a legitimate business and provide them with the facts and figures to back up this claim.

When they join up and you become their sponsor – be the very best sponsor you can be. Other then teaching them the business, encourage them and try to instill in them confidence in SFI.

Our core roles in SFI are to promote TripleClicks products and services and to recruit affiliates.

Promoting TC products and service involves advertising. Recruiting PSAs also involves advertising with the added sponsoring requirements. The marketing skills we should teach our downlines are therefore not just to affect sales and signups but also on how to get others to continue this process, in other words how to duplicate their efforts. We normally refer to this as duplication.

For product promotions and recruiting I believe that the main requirements on our part are that of patience and persistence. We should teach our downline this. Many members I believe get frustrated when prospects say no, when they post ads and do not get sales, hits or quality sign ups. This is of course a very natural feeling but we must be patient, stay the course and keep on promoting and recruiting.

This is our ongoing role and it has been established that an advertisement will go before a person’s eyes many times before he ‘sees’ it. It’s the same with hearing a message. People hear but don’t always listen to what they are hearing. So teach & encourage our people to keep on keeping on. They are to do the same and teach this to their own downlines.

Good communication skills would be next on my list: What we say and how we say it to prospects is vital especially when recruiting PSAs. By all means be passionate, without going over the top. Speak the truth and let the facts speak for themselves.

Running an ad campaign is next on my list. There are a number of skills involved here that our people should know about. Teach these:
- Selection of what to promote. If its TC products which products;
- Who to target for sales /recruitment, online or offline
- Selection of type and where to advertise - Banners, text, videos, flyers, cards, email marketing, classifieds, social sites, traffic exchanges etc..
- Setting a budget if any;
- Composing and placing ads
- Key coding and tracking
- Working out ROI
- Following up on leads

Having good marketing skills is invaluable in this business. There is a lot to learn but like any skill, it takes time to learn so not only teach them but also encourage your people to practice them. Knowing and doing must go hand in hand.

'I run my own business.' That would be the 1st thing that comes out of my mouth.
I would then tell the prospect about the fact that I am an Affiliate in SFI and then briefly explain what an affiliate does:

1. Promote SFI and its store TripleClicks
2. I promote SFI and recruit (sponsor)other affiliates who then work their own business doing the same
3. Affiliates promote TripleClicks store and if the people who they refer to the store buy from the store the Affiliates earn 45% of the CV of the products as commission. For subsequent purchases by the same customer, the referring affiliate automatically receives 45% of the items CV every time so long as they are members of SFI.
4. As the sponsoring affiliate I also benefit from the work of those I recruit. So it is in my interest as a business owner to build up the number of affiliates I sponsor, leading and teaching them how to promote SFI and TripleClicks.

So in essence, I am a team leader, running my own business, promoting SFI and TripleClicks. I am also a coach and a trainer, teaching my people how to be successful online business owners.

It really depends on you and what you want.

If you have a look at the huge range of products available at TripleClicks you will find that the majority of them can all be purchased with MRP. Just select the item you want, add it to your shopping cart and choose MRP, if that is available, as your payment method during checkout.

I would recommend that you accumulate as much of these as possible. Don't be in a hurry to spend them but also don't forget that they will expire after 12 months.

I would suggest that you use your MRPs to purchase products that are useful towards growing your business. These could be self development courses or books, domains, advertising related activities/products, TCredits etc..

You can also use them to purchase products with enough VPs towards the end of the month if you are short of the required VPs for your target rank. For example with 126 MRP you can buy 1 TC and that will also give you 102 VPs.

For me the newsletter serves two purposes

1. The first purpose, not necessarily in that order, is to keep connected with your team and encourage them along. With this in mind I generally chat and acknowledge good works that have been done and give them some general tips that are applicable to most of them, using examples where possible. I talk about current events within SFI, new developments, news etc.. The focus is to encourage them and try and get them excited about their work and to get them to see how great SFI is.

2. The second purpose is to give them training. I think this is the part that you are most interested in.

There are numerous areas where you can focus on for training and I list some of them here:
- SFI Basics. Take one at a time and enlarge on it explaining it a bit more. One item per newsletter and run these in series.
- SFI Rules Of Success. The same as per the SFI Basics. These definitely need to be run in a series.
- Income Streams
- SFI Ranks
- Marketing. This is a huge area and you can break it down to marketing online and marketing offline. Take say marketing offline and again break it down again to small areas such as – warm markets – leaflets – newspapers – areas to target etc.. Do the same with online marketing – Email, social networks, classifieds, traffic exchange etc.. I find that most of my affiliates have no or little experience in this area and have limited funds to invest so I focus on this area - the 'science' of advertising - setting up campaigns -Free and paid advertising - etc
- Sponsorship. The material in SFI ‘ How to be an awesome sponsor’ is great.
- Communication. This is linked with sponsorship but is such an important one that I emphasize it.
- TripleClicks store. Promoting it. Cover current trends on the web, popular items people are purchasing online etc..
- Daily Grand
- Fast-Track and many others

A person that has just signed on as an SFI Affiliate has just become a new SFI Business Owner.

Like the owner of any new business, the affiliate needs to have a thorough knowledge of his or her business. Without this, he cannot operate the business properly. It might survive for a month or so and then it will just fade away.

Therefore, the best strategies for anyone just starting up with SFI is to learn as much about the business as they are able to. There is a lot to learn and learning is an ongoing process anyway that he must continue with if he is to be successful in any business.

SFI has been around for a while and have already worked out the best strategy that a new affiliate must follow, and it all begins with the "START" button. Click on it and simply follow it from there - onto Launchpad Lessons and 'to-do-list'

What I try to encourage my people to do are not only the above but also go for Fast-Track. Its a great opportunity which many affiliates regret overlooking.

On top of this I also try to encourage them to start advertising TC & recruiting as early as possible. I tell them not to worry about the sponsoring aspect of recruiting. As their sponsor I will help them sponsoring their new PSAs.

So the strategy is:
- DO the training
- Follow the guideline as set out by SFI (to-do-lists etc)
- Become Fast Tracker
- Advertise promoting TripleClicks
- Advertise recruiting PSA.

Right from the start when they first join up, one of the 1st things we encourage our affiliates to do is to become Fast Trackers. One of the requirements of Fast Track is the purchase of an item worth at least $20 .00 from TripleClicks. The NMP is the recommended products but an affiliate is free to choose whatever he/she likes.

At your leadership page you can make TripleClicks product recommendations to your affiliates. Make sure that the products that you are recommending are currently available.

Encouraged your team members to practice Transfer Buying.

There are also many products at TripleClicks that would help with team building, advertising, recruiting, self development etc..

Promote all these to your team. How?


The best way to do it is of course the “show and tell” method.

If you are telling your team members to become Fast Trackers that would work very well if you are a Fast Tracker yourself. Let them see you FT Badge! If you are not a Fast Tracker, you missed the window of opportunity to become one, you wish you were a Fast Tracker but now you cannot – let your members know all this, encouraging them not to miss their opportunities as you did etc..

Tell your team about the business building products that are available at TripleClicks such as the S Builders, PSAs to Go etc.. Tell them about the EZ Games, the Pricebender Auctions -They will need to purchase TCredits for these. Ideally you should have the relevant badges and your team members can see that you are in fact participating in the games, bidding at the auctions and purchasing items from TripleClicks.

When you discuss Standing Orders with them, not only explain to them the need for SO and encouraging them to set those up, also make suggestions regarding TC products that are ideal for SO.

Talk to them about Transfer Buying and encourage them to purchase from TC what they normally buy from elsewhere.

If a team member appears reluctant to shop at TripleClicks how about starting them off yourself. Send them a gift certificate so that they actually have to go to TripleClicks and make a purchase in order to redeem them. Often this serves as the initial introduction to making purchases from TripleClicks.

When you are completing you ‘to-do-list’ actions and are reviewing the ‘latest items at TripleClicks’ if you come across a product which you think will benefit your team members, make note of it and mention that in one of your stream messages. You may also like to purchase it yourself first before recommending it to your team members.

Always promote TripleClicks products and services to your team members, to anyone for that matter, it doesn’t matter who.

Both are good but which one you use depends largely on you and what you want.

PSA To Go - is expensive but it does guarantee that it will provide you PSAs no less than the number in the package that you have chosen. You pay your money and you get your PSA promptly.

S-Builders - is less expensive but it does not guarantee you how many PSAs you will receive. It all depends on how successful the co-op promotions go. You pay your money and then have to wait for the results to come through and this normally comes in drips - about 2 months time.

So if you have a generous budget and you want PSAs promptly then go PSAs to Go, if not then S-Builders may be the way for you to go.

As always - There are no guarantees that the PSAs you will receive from both of these will be Active PSAs.

The short answer to your question is - Don’t.

You have to realize and accept the fact that you are solely responsible for your own business – not your sponsor. All business decisions regarding your SFI business are made by you – not your sponsor.

Your sponsor is there to HELP you build a successful SFI business. Your sponsor should HELP you by teaching you the business, encouraging & cheering you along and supporting you. You can listen to his advice and accept his help or not. If you decide not to advertise, that’s your call. If you don’t want to do any work, again that’s your call. It’s your decision in the end. Not your sponsor’s.

Not all sponsors are the same though.

If you are fortunate enough to have a good sponsor, treasure your good fortune. Stay in close contact with him/her and develop a close relationship; after all you are in a business partnership.

If help or contact from your sponsor is non- existent, don’t despair, there are others in your up line that can help you. You also have a co sponsor. Reach out to them and solicit their help. You can also find help at The Forum, a2a friends and ASK SC. There are successful SFI Affiliates who claim not have had support from their sponsors when they started. They sort help from other affiliates and have done very well in spite of not getting help from their sponsors.
