Should we recruit our family members into SFI? Good idea or not?

I do not believe in trying to get your family involved in your business... UNLESS you are already doing extremely well... One of the things that we are taught is to attract your "warm market." I don't suggest going after your family or friends UNTIL you have already created a level of success. If things go wrong in your startup time period, then you will not only lose an affiliate, but you will also lose a good friend or close association with family. My advice... leave that alone.
How can I increase my earnings with SFI?

I think this is probably my most favorite question of all the ASK SC's. This is the one question that ALL of us have asked ourselves at some point or another. I expect that many people will probably weigh in on the answers here, so I'll try to keep my very simple.
The best way to make a higher earning in SFI is to multiply your efforts by having acquiring, teaching, and developing good PSA's & CSA's. Bottom line - your money increases as you help others increase.

Why is creating duplication in your SFI business important?

Creating a model for duplication is extremely important because it allows you to employ others and empower them to become financially well-off also. Duplication is the same as "franchising" in the other businesses. It simply allows more people to be a part of your success.
In duplication, someone else now has the ability to use your success as their springboard. They no longer have to reinvent the wheel, they can simply follow you and become successful. In them reaching a level of success, they also will allow you to receive a small part of each of their successes - meaning that everytime they are successful, you too are successful. It works both ways...

How far should sponsors go to help their affiliates move forward, is there a point you should not go beyond?

I believe that every sponsor should gauge their affiliates' progress and their desire. I have learned in times past, you may not be able to tell if a person is serious based on their language, but watch for their investment. People generally put their money where their mouth is.
As a sponsor, I would spend time with all of my PSA's, but the line will be drawn on affiliates that are simply trying to get only freebies and not really putting in any real time.
The limit - the limit should be that you are willing to do everything to keep your PSA's momentum... It is my job to help him WANT excellence...

What is the best strategy? I'll tell you my opinion...
Based on what I have seen and know; it is always the guys that chase the money that have no money. Likewise, it is the guys that are TRYING to win the E365 that end up losing.
The better alternative is to focus on building your business and teaching your own affiliates about the business and especially, about the system that you have developed.
I guarantee that if you focused on doing an EXCELLENT job and perform exceptionally well, that you will find great levels of success - maybe even winning the E365.

What type of news should ECAs post on their ECA TConnect Page? And who gets to see the news posted?

That answer is going to be very easy. The thing that I believe each ECA should include in his TConnect page is their coupon and discount information. Each ECA should openly publish on their TConnect page their coupons and any other things that will help out with their sales.
As far as who will see it... everyone who checks out your TConnect page will see it.
Is it worthwhile to send individual welcome letters to new PSAs...or can I just send out group mailings?

I have tried to just send out those group mailings, but what I have noticed is that when I am trying to really make an impact with my new PSA's, I think that it is of GREAT importance to send them individual welcomes.
I believe an individual welcome is like an orientation. Even though you can do a group orientation, it is always more highly respected if you are able to personally let your new understudy know that you are there for them and you let them see your "personal" presence.

One of the best benefits is that you are now a part of a growing population of Home Business Entrepreneurs. As a matter of fact, I don't even try to publicize it to affiliates, but rather my outside people - in hopes they become SFI affiliates.
I hold meetings via web meetings for anyone who is interested in starting an online business or wishes to become a home business entrepreneur. I don't charge them any fees or anything; however, in order to be a part of my free webinars, I require them to become part of the IAHBE. Most do it and never become SFI affiliates - which works out for me, I earn their commission AND their VP. Then there are some that actually do join SFI - which works out for me, I earn commission AND have them as continual PSA's.
So as you can see, the way I do it is a win-win-win... Win for my clients, win for SFI, and a win for me.

How is SFI different or better than other affiliate programs?

Let me start off by saying that SFI, in my humble opinion, is the best affiliate program that I have been a part of.
SFI gives us the ability to grow our own income; without having to "go door-to-door" like some programs. Some of the other programs require you to make a certain level of income before they pay you - not SFI.
Some of the other programs make you jump through "hoops" in order to get training; SFI makes training a part of your daily routine... AND gives you points (which translate into money) to do so.
Other companies make you sell "special hard-to-find" products; SFI allows you the ability to sell your own products along with receiving commission on others' products AND on auctions.
In conclusion, SFI is simply better for many many reasons.

What are some methods to attract ECAs in areas where many do not yet trust online businesses?

What I try to do is put all the oweness on me. Since the ECA owners can see me, I try to let them know that I will be their contact person and that anything they need, they can have my direct number so that we can stay in contact.
Most people don't trust the Internet businesses because they don't have a "live" person to trust. Once I provide myself as the "live" person, many times, their inhibitions have been let down. It's really just providing GREAT up-front customer service.
