Hi,
Believe me your question is simple but difficult to answer because there are no proven answer to it. As there are different method by different bidders so it make it difficult to answer.
But in my own opinion you can follow the instruction bellow:
1. Buy enough TCredit before you begin auction.
2. Budget your self and stick to it
3. Enter the auction with 20TC on auto bid, in NAB use up the 20TC. These is to find out the numbers and seriousness of the bidders.
4. Don't get in war with another bidder, watch the game and enter your bid at 5 second to minimise your TC
5. Don't wait to bid at going once or going twice, the auction may close before the system accept your bid due to network problem
6. Study the auction if the timing is getting to 3 second before it reset, it mean there no much bidders
7. At this point set your auto bid to 50TC and watch
8. Once the 50TC is finish, start the bid again from item 4 down to 8

MRP - Member Reward Points, has the meaning implies, its a reward. Bidding in tripleclicks auction is a game where all bidders are winners, one person win the auction while the rest win points(MRP). NO LOSER AT ALL
This is an awesome game in Triplecliks where all contestant are winners, 5 or 10 points on is awarded on each tcredit used to bid. This point is known as MRP which you can use to do shopping on triplicks store.
With this reward being giving when bidding, I considered it that my tcredit is not all lost to the bidding even if I don't win. We all make some mistakes in our first month, yes its human to make mistake but we learn from our mistakes. Some of these mistakes are things new affiliate should avoid in their first month and it's our duty as sponsors to alert our PSAs on these common mistakes since we have experience it before.
1. Don't try to get point quickly without understanding the contents of the page you are getting the point from, reasons for that point is an award for your time to read and understand the contents of the page open.
2. Don't be anxious to make money but be anxious to learn about SFI. Knowledge is the basis of your business
3. Don't rush to auction because you see people winning, continue studying your time of winning will come
4. Don't be lazy in following instructions by taking every page step by step. Slow and steady win the race remember that
5. Don't be shy in asking questions of what you don't know
6. Don't do the launch pad in a day or week, follow the instruction, one par day
7. Don't missed out in the daily to do list even for one day as this will help in eradicating laziness in the next months
8. Don't ignore the video clips for beginners
9. Don't advertise yet, understand what you want to advertise
10. And lastly avoid the thought of getting rich quickly

How can we shift from quantity to QUALITY with our sign-ups?

I said it before, I prefer to have few active PSAs than thousands of inactive PSAs. Make it point of duty to have quality (active) sign-ups by being an awesome sponsor.
1. Don't just invest in TripleClicks only, invest in your PSA too by giving them unconditional support. You may say I am not that buoyant to do so, YES I agree with you, what about your time? spend quality time with them, make out time to search every areas in Support/Help for points on their behalf and help them with it. By doing so, you are equally educating your self.
2. OR you can decided to start gathering thousands of affiliate (quantity) and wait for them to come around in the future. After all, someone have said it that he was among the quantity for over 4 good years before he turn around to become among the quality affiliate.

Should I buy PSAs or learn how to sponsor them myself?

Buying PSA or recruiting them your self is the same thing as both will end up becoming an SFI affiliate. The different in them is TIME, recruiting will take you longer time, let say 2-3 years to have a big downline but with your money you can buy number of affiliates you think you can recruit for 3 years within 1-2 weeks.
The choice here is yours and it all depend on your goal. If you desire huge downline within a short period then buy PSA from a good ECA with good testimonies. Pay for advertising sites and not free site for advertising. After having your huge downline, you can now start sponsoring them by guiding them day by day on what to do and how to do it well.

There is a lot of fraud on the Internet. How do we convince skeptical prospects that SFI is legit and real?

I will equate this question to how can I convince my spouse about SFI ask before. As you have rightly said "a lot of fraud on the Internet", this will hinder a lot of people to do internet business. If that is the case, how do we convince skeptical prospects that SFI is LEGIT and REAL.
Simple, Work harder by building your team and be a good sponsor, win many physical auctions then make it LEGIT and REAL before the prospects by showing them what you have achieved with SFI (your income alert in your account, items you won and they send it).
Prove that SFI is legit and real with your achievements, that is what I believe will convince skeptical prospects.

What do you tell prospects who say they aren't interested in SFI because they don't know very many people?

It is only unserious and lazy people that give excuses when it come work. Someone asked me to show her my income first before she can be active. waiting to see someone success before you do something, you are kidding and crazy. "Am not interested in SFI because I don't know many people" is just an excuse. But if you must press forward to recruit such person then do the following:
1. Ask him/her if he/she has money to buy people
2. If YES, introduce them to S-Builder Co-op or IAHBE.
3. When they become EA, they can as well bid for CSA in auction.
Let them know that if they can pay charges to this company (S-Builder Co-op or IAHBE), finding people will be the sole responsibility of the company and not them again. It simple, if you cant be a marketer then pay someone to do the marketing for you.
