In truth, you don't know if they are getting your emails. A lot of people automatically tune out anything that is not relevant to them at the moment, and they do that by sending the messages to the waste bin unread. That is no excuse to stop sending them, however. You pour your heart out to these people, and some of them will eventually come along. Maybe something you say one day will catch their attention, and bring them back to life. Who knows?

One thing I like to do is to write up human interest stories about people I encounter in and out of the business. I tell about some of the struggles they have, and the things they have over come. Hopefully these stories will hit a nerve somewhere with someone. People are dealing with a lot of things out there, and I want them to get that they are not alone, and that there is a way to overcome their challenges, whatever those challenges are.

Another thing I realize is that most people never really explore this business, and what we offer. They don't even realize that TripleClicks has a catalog, or that it offers almost anything you can imagine. Sometimes I will paint a verbal picture of what I see this business becoming in the future. It's an international market place on the grow. Merchants and customers will be clamoring to get in the not to distant future. It will only grow and get even better then it is today.

If I can get the message across that this is a business with heart, and that it's incredibly dynamic, I will have done my work. Life has a way of forcing people to look for alternatives to whatever they are doing, and I will be there when they decide to take another look.

You can set up a co-op at any time, but you have to have something to draw sign-ups into the co-op. A co-op without any traffic does nothing. Either a blog or a website can be used to draw people into the co-op. In fact, any form of advertising you do can possibly generate PSAs to distribute through your co-op.

A blog can be effective in generating traffic, but you will need to figure out how to make it work. Just any old blog will not do the job. There is an art and a science to putting together an effective blog site. There are a lot of e-books available in the business telling you how to create and drive a blog site. Your upline may also be able to help get you started in the right direction. A lot will depend on your writing ability as well.

An alternative might be to develop a website. Again there are a lot of E-books available through TripleClicks telling you how to do this. A lot will also depend on how computer savvy you are, and how much you know about online advertising. For most of us, this is all new, and it takes time to work out the kinks and make a website or blog that produces the desired results. Whether you are doing a blog or a website, you will have to master drawing people to the site.

All this is just a part of the learning process in the SFI business. We have to try a bunch of things and find out what works for us. We seldom get the answers overnight. It all takes time.

SFI is a business in many ways just like any other business. Advancement can be accelerate by investing wisely in your business and in yourself. In general, your main investment in SFI is your time. If you don't invest your time in this business, it simply will not happen. As far as monetary investment, almost any investment a person will ever make in this business in relatively nominal, or ridiculously inexpensive as compared with virtually any other business you can imagine. In this business, you have no overhead, no entry fee, and no training expenses. In no other business would you be able to operate so freely, yet for a lot of people, $36.25 a month for Standing Order occurs as a lot of money. If you think of this business as more than just a business, but also an education system, then is $36.25 a month a lot or a little to invest in your education? How much did you invest in your education before, and where did it get you? Okay, and where can that investment in the SFI business take you? The answer is "anywhere you want to go!"

Most people never make enough effort to discover exactly what this business has to offer or how it works. Sure the amount of reading required may turn off some people, but most never get that far! Most people have a problem concentrating on one thing for any extended period of time. Call it attention deficit disorder on a massive scale if you will, but most people live their lives running from one emergency to the next with no attention spent on where that mode of living takes them. The people who succeed in this business focus intently on where they want to go, and realize that in reality, they don't have a lot of other options that will take them there. Sure, there is work involved, and a lot of it, but so is there in anything else worth doing. People are not lazy if they see and understand the option this business provides.

Sometimes what it takes to get through to inactive or occasionally active affiliates is just leveling with them about where people come into this business at, and telling them what the common perspectives are. Then simply ask them where they are at with regards to the business. Here is an example it might be done.

Some people come into this business expecting a paycheck at the end of the month. They are used to equating their time with so many dollars per hour working for someone else. Now they are working for themselves, but the concept of self-employment often doesn't quite sink in. At the end of the month they are disgusted with their meager return, and often as not, quit. They may not resign from the business, but they are there in name only.

Some people come into this business as a student, and study the business inside out. They try to understand every aspect. They realize that they have never been taught how to be financially free no matter how much certified education they have under their belt. No matter where they are or how much they have accomplished in life up to this point, they realize that what they are doing isn't taking them where they want to go, and they see the possibility that this business can take them there. Before long they realize they will always be students of the business, for it's truly dynamic.

There are some who have never before developed the protracted self discipline that would have them stick with anything long term. They may start with a bang, but fall short in the follow through. They just can't make themselves do what it takes day in and day out to build this business. They easily get diverted to something else, and flounder at that just as they did at this.

There are those who are cynical by nature, who mistrust everyone and everything about the business. They lack confidence in themselves enough to trust their instincts, and always are afraid of being taken for a fool. They have a really hard time with this business, just trusting that anything could be this good without some kind of catch. It's their orientation in life, for to them, everything in life is trying to play them for a fool. If you can get through their cynicism, you will probably have a really good affiliate on your hands.

Their are those who simply see the opportunity, and recognize the possibility right away. They make up their mind from the very start to do this thing no matter what else happens in their life. They make a qualitative decision recognizing that if someone else can do this business, they can too. They put their nose to the grindstone, so to speak, and don't look up until it is done, however long it takes.

Then there are those who never got much of a chance in life. They are chronically unemployed or underemployed, looking for a life raft to cling to. They may jump on board this business hoping this will get them out of their current situation, but until they see within themselves the possibility of being more than they have ever been before, it's doubtful this business will make a difference. This business is not a life raft. It's an opportunity for someone to take control of their life financially.

There are those who are desperate for any possibility to take command of their life. They may be a single mother trying to raise a family against all odds. They may be a factory worker who hates his or her job. They may be someone who is forced to work far from home just to provide for his or her family. They may be someone trying to survive on a very limited income. What is important is that they take ownership for where they end up in life. They are willing to do whatever it takes to get where they want to go.

There are others who don't grasp what this business is about initially, or flounder in confusion at the mass of information to absorb. They just don't get it. They may need what this business provides just as much as the next person, but they don't understand how this business can provide that. If they stick around long enough, and keep exploring this business, they will discover that this business is more than they ever imagined, and that it all makes dollars and sense.

The principle way to increase your earnings in SFI is to build a downline and duplicate what your successful upline does. You do that by the following:

I would tell them that SFI is a business that can be built very fast if they are willing to invest in their business - they can make TL Platinum in as little as two weeks for as little as $136.50, and then with purchase of PSAs, build a very solid international business. This business is not only about making money for yourself however, but it is about being able to help others be financially successful as well. I would ask them if they know five business minded people who might be interested in helping others be financially successful as well. Well monied people tend to know other well monied people, as well as plenty of good people who are struggling financially. SFI has a tremendous database of great answers to questions people have asked in the past, and you can access that database at any time. You should think of it this way, whenever a down line affiliate asks a question, it is an opportunity for you to shine. It's also an opening to build a strong relationship with that person. Don't be afraid to admit that you are new in the business. You don't know the answer, but you will find out and get back to them. It is by these questions that you become an expert in the business.
