Marketing:

To use Skype for marketing, you must include your SFI gateway link in your profile name and in the “About Me” section of your profile as well as saying something about your business in same section. This will be the first message someone will see when entering your profile when added. Hopefully it will trigger their interest and they will click on your link. Search for prospects and add them as friends.

To use YouTube for marketing, produce presentation videos of SFI and/or TripleClicks and post them on YouTube with your SFI gateway embedded in the description of your videos. Descriptions can be something like “How to earn money online”, “How to bid in Penny Auctions”, etc. Start promoting your videos on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. as well as in your blog and your own Website or domain and embed the video link in your Email signature. The videos can be in the form of a Vlog (Video Blog), with new content every week, or if time permit, every day. That way it will reach higher rankings in the search engines and attract more traffic.

You can use Skype and YouTube together for better effect by using Skype as your preferred mode of communication with prospects that show interest by posting your Skype ID in your video.

Training:

You can use Skype for training your team as a whole or individually because it’s essentially a communication tool. It’s a form of video conferencing. You can present training webinars via Skype and you can even share your screen with the other party so that you can walk him/her through the whole process.

You can use YouTube for training by producing training videos. Send the links to all your team members. You can also promote it on your website, blog, etc. If you treat it as a Vlog, it can also attract search engine attention if you post on it regularly. That way even a training video can attract new business.

Launch Pad Lesson Day 4 (Marketing=Money) deals with Marketing Methods in SFI, especially the ones for beginners.
In the Marketing Center you will find 14 different Beginner Marketing Methods, some easier than others. All of them deal mostly with your Warm Market (Family and Friends), Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Emails, etc.), distribution of marketing materials physically and online- and offline advertising.

Many answers so far said your warm market is the best to target when you are new in SFI, but I bet to differ. When you are new you haven’t started to earn much yet and many people are skeptical about online marketing as it is and if you don’t have proof yet they won’t react positively. Another reason is that you are still busy learning and not ready to face new “clients” face to face before you know all the facts (And that’s going to take a while).

I recommend you start by posting your SFI gateways on Facebook, Twitter and other social media pages and work your way up from there, because it’s relatively easy, since SFI provides you with everything you need. You just have to create your own social media profiles and pages. You can also share information about TripleClicks products on social media by just clicking on the “share-it” button next to each product. Be sure to be logged in at TripleClicks that your SFI id can be embedded in the link so that sales can be credited to you.

In the meantime you can also “forget” X-cards on the seat of public transport you are using, leave it with you restaurant bill, place it inside books in bookshops or send it out with every piece of mail. It’s one way you still don’t have to interact with people while you’re still getting to grips with the system.

You can then move to the next step, online advertising. It can be free or paid for, but can be relatively low cost. Start by advertising TripleClicks products and your SFI gateways on free e-commerce sites like Gumtree, OLX, etc. SFI also made that very easy to do since they provided us with all the links to post in our ads with our own SFI id’s embedded in the link URL’s so that all sales and referrals will be credited to us automatically.

Next would be to advertise offline in printed media (Free or paid for), posting marketing material on bulletin boards, under car wipers in parking lots, at shop or other service provider counters, etc. all with the necessary permission of course. Everything you need for this is also provided by SFI, from Tabbed and other flyers to X-cards, etc. Some is free and others can be ordered from TripleClicks at a nominal fee, but very easy to use. You just advertise your own SFI gateways by printing your SFI id in the appropriate space provided for it.

If you have a Website or Domain you could divert all the traffic from your marketing to it instead of directly to your gateways, by placing your Website’s URL in your ads as your preferred contact details and when anyone click on it or enter it on the Internet it take them directly to your website. You would normally post links to the products and services you want to advertise as well as your SFI and TripleClicks gateways on your webpages. Your website could attract other traffic from other Internet users as well if you have interesting content on it like a blog. It’s sometimes better to go this route since some social media platforms don’t allow you to post links on them especially with SFI in the URL. TripleClicks links will sometimes still be allowed.

You can, when you have ordered some of the products from TripleClicks and used them yourself, and are more familiar with the workings of SFI and TripleClicks, and have had some successes in SFI, start by promoting the products to your warm market, your close family and friends. You can do it by sending them emails with a signature appended to it that promote TripleClicks, sending them E-cards, sending them Giftcards or something from the TripleClicks store like a SFI mousepad, etc. If they see that you are somewhat successful they might be interested as well.

Now you’ll be more comfortable to start interacting with other people and can thus start to make contact with them face to face as well as distributing marketing material to them in public. You’ll also be able to answer questions they might have at this stage.

At the top of the page just under your profile picture you’ll find three buttons:
Grey - Start
Blue - SFI Basics

This is where you get the program simplified.

Just below this you find a row of black buttons. This is where you find all the ins and outs of SFI, links to all your pages and Hot-spots, how you get paid, the marketing center, training and tools.

Next is a row of red tabs. This is a step by step method of working in SFI, simplified for us by SFI. Here you find Alerts, News and Forum Posts, Tips, Stream Posts, A2A and ASK SC. These are the most important information pages that you’ll ever find on any Affiliate network.

The best one for me is ASK SC. I've learned more from ASK SC than from any other source in SFI. Just review and rate all the answers and when you are more familiar with the system, answer some of the questions yourself. If your answer is voted top, second or third to tenth you also get very valuable VP for that. I've had some top answers myself and it helped me to qualify as Team Leader in previous months.

Most SFI affiliates might be interested in business building products or services. And most of them don’t have any shipping costs, because they are digital products/services.

For any-one else you’ll have to do some research. Look at the demographics of the person or group you want to promote to. What are they interested in? If you can’t tell, start a conversation with them and become acquainted with them. That way you can ask them what they would be interested in.

TCredits is always a good choice, even for non-affiliates, because they might be interested in auctions or games or downloading music and they don’t have to be an affiliate for that.

Everything we should do on a daily basis is set out in easy to do steps on the site within your home page and in various training materials available from SFI.

On your Home Page you have a To-Do-List that shows you step by step what you should do daily to gather valuable VersaPoints to qualify as an EA or Team Leader and for earning an income from the Executive Pool:
1. Log in every day and on your Home Page under the Alerts Tab review your VP earned for the month to date, Latest News from SFI and Latest Forum Posts and click on the Extra Daily Grand Entry button at the bottom of the Alerts Page to get an extra entry in the Daily Grand contest. If you find new information under any of these, study it and you will learn a lot more about the business.
2. Under your red To-Do-List Tab click on “the latest items at TripleClicks” under Daily Actions to see what new products or services was listed at TC in the last 7 days and get 1 free VP just for doing that. Still under Daily Actions enter any of the Eager Zebra Games for 1TCredit per entry and get 1VP per entry for a maximum of 50VP per month as well as 1 entry in the Daily Crown contest at TripleClicks. Then click on the “I reviewed this page” button at the bottom of the page to receive another free VP (for at least 3VP).
3. The rest of your Daily Actions (accept ASK SC) you can do by clicking on the red tabs at the top of your Home Page, reviewing all the information on each page and clicking on the “I reviewed the page” button at the bottom of each page to get another 8VP per day. While reviewing TIPS and STREAM, study the information you find there to learn even more about the business.
4. Now click on the red ASK SC Tab on the far right of your Home Page and read and rate 10 answers for another 1 free VP to bring your VP to 12VP per day if you enter only 1 EZ game per day. By really studying the answers and doing a little more research to answer some of the questions yourself you will learn even more. I've learned more from ASK SC than from any other source in SFI. For getting 10VP or more per day you get another entry in the DG contest. If you rate another 20 ASK SC answers you get another DG entry.
5. Don’t click on the WIN Tab as yet. If you can gather another 8VP per day by doing some other task first for a total of 20VP per day, you get another DG entry for free. There are a few ways to gather that extra VP.
-Once a month you can get 5VP for setting your goals before the 10th (play 3 more EZ Games and you have 20VP for that day) and 10VP for rating your sponsor, co-sponsor and SFI for 22VP for that day. So you are covered with 20VP or more for 2 days of the month.
-Once a week you can and must send a Team Mail to your down-line for 30VP per week. Here you are covered with more than 20VP for at least 4 days of the month.
-For reviewing your TConnect Page once a week you also get 5VP at least 4 times a month. Send 3 Stream Posts on that same days for 3 more VP and you are covered with 20VP for another 4 days of the month.
-Download songs from TC Music. It’ll cost you 1TCredit per download for 1VP per song (50VP maximum per month)
-Member Listings. List your unwanted goods to be sold at TripleClicks. It’ll cost you 1 TCredit per listing for 1VP (50VP maximum per month).
-500 Bonus VP per month for Pricebender Auction bids (1VP per bid).
- Enter your own answers for the questions and you could get 100VP if your answer is rated Top Author, 50VP for second best and 25VP for 3rd to 10th best answer.
After doing everything you can to gather 20VP or more per day, click on the gray WIN Tab, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Enter the DG” button at the bottom of the page.
6. Set up a Standing Order for 1500 Sales VP and maintain it every month. For having a SO for 1500VP you get a Bonus 100 Action VP.

After doing your tasks for getting VP to maintain EA or Team Leader status and earning an income from the Executive Pool, you must still do some tasks for Team Building, because that is where the actual power lays in Affiliate Marketing.
1. Read your messages and answer if need be.
2. Visit your Movers Tab at the top of your Home Page again (now it will be gray and not red anymore) and review the movers in your team. Work with the workers. Go to their VP Ledgers, review and communicate with them by E-mail, Team Mail, E-card, Stream Post or Chat. Motivate them and congratulate when deserve.
3. Visit your Genealogy Report, review and communicate also with the other members of your team.
4. Share gateways for products, latest Pricebender Auction wins, Share-its, etc. on social network platforms.
5. Promote SFI by placing ads for PSA’s on- and off-line and that way build your team.
6. Promote TripleClicks and it’s products and services by placing ads for PRM’s and TripleClicks Members and that way increase your income.
7. Promote TripleClicks by enrolling as Wave3 Member and increasing your income.
8. Promote TripleClicks by advertising for ECA’s and increasing your income that way.
9. Promote the Pricebender Auctions by advertising it.
10. Create a Blog and post regularly.
11. Create a Website and/or Landing- and/or Promotional Pages and promote it as much as possible.
12. Read and learn as much as possible.

When you have at least that first 5 active PSA’s in your first line, AND you are really good with enrolling new members, and only then I would take part in SFIPPA. The incentives for PPA can be very good if you are a really good marketer AND you have a great team with a good income already, but not before that, unless that is all you want to do here.

SFI is all about marketing. You market the business, it’s products and services and yourself, because you are your business.

One part of your marketing should be to sponsor other people to duplicate your efforts, because that’s where the power of this business lies. There are many ways and media to advertise for PSA’s. You can market on- or off-line.

Off-line marketing comprise of personal efforts like posting banners on bulletin boards, under car wipers in parking lots, handing out marketing materials, placing ads in printed media, speaking to your warm market like family, friends and colleagues, displays at career days or business days, seminars or presentations, etc. etc.

On-line marketing will be any marketing you do on the Internet like a personal website or blog, advertising on e-commerce sites, posting on social media platforms like FaceBook, Twitter, etc, advertising on traffic exchanges or business platforms like IBO Toolbox, etc.
If your marketing efforts haven’t worked for you, maybe you should change your approach. Test various options, making use of keycodes to see what work for you and what not and do more of what works and stop doing what don’t. Try some other marketing methods and aids. There are many available from SFI itself. Ask help from your sponsor, a2a friends, top enrollers, etc. Read up on the topic at ASK SC, Launch Pad Lessons, Internet Marketing Training at the marketing center, etc.

If you’ve exploited all of the above avenues, both free and paid, and you still don’t get the results you want, you can always buy some PSA’s from TripleClicks or Pricebender Auctions, purchase 1 or more units of SBuilder advertising co-op or even start your own advertising co-op with other members and share the costs of advertising.

To offer incentives to affiliates that are good performers, for example PSA’s that become EA2 or Team Leaders, are always good, because it can motivate your PSA’s to do better and that can help you in your business.

To offer non-SFI related products or services can also work, but I think why purchase from the opposition if you can offer products/services from your own shop and get paid for doing so.

If you want to offer something from a shop that is not aCSA of TripleClicks, why not ask them to become a CSA, with the promise that you’ll promote their products by giving them as incentives to your PSA’s. That is a win-win situation for all involved, you, your PSA and your CSA.
