Is it worthwhile to sponsor affiliates who speak little English or have very limited computer/Internet experience?

Absolutely it is worthwhile.
Number one, the language barrier is fast becoming a thing of the past with the advent of Translate software. At the bottom of each SFI page there is the option to translate the page into any one of dozens of languages. The same Google Translate software is available for emails to your team leaders and movers, as well.
With that problem solved let us consider the "problem" of computer experience. First, most people would not even sign up with SFI if they weren't on the internet in the first place. But if you are finding people outside of the Internet it goes without saying that it is a virtual impossibility to engage in the SFI opportunity without access to the internet whether from home, your laptop at the local coffee shop, the library or your smart phone.
This is an internet based business but if someone has issues with their computer perhaps it would be the perfect time to mentor them in their computer skills. Nothing works wonders more than taking a personal interest in a new affiliate and helping them to succeed.
To sum up, never pre judge anyone because of external hurdles. Obstacles are made to be conquered. Be a winner not an excuse maker.

New is best as it means you have no bad habits.
SFI offers the finest and most complete training for its’ affiliates. Unlike most other “opportunities” available which require previous internet and computer knowledge, SFI does not require any such expertise. Any pertinent knowledge is available through SFI in-house training - Internet Income Course (https://www.sfimg.com/Training/InternetIncome) and Getting Started With Your SFI Business (https://www.sfimg.com/Training/GeneralTraining) are two examples of some of the outstanding training available.
Just take a look at all the training and available knowledge base and I think there is very little question as to how you and your team can learn and grow together.

The first thing I would tell you to do is to click on the "Rewards" tab in TripleClicks. There you will find numerous items, from Advanced Liquid Nutrition to Apple iPads and numerous helpful magazines, that you can purchase for your Member Rewards Points at a super discount. In fact I purchase my Advanced Liquid Nutrition this way every month for only 727 MRP! What a savings!
Then, of course, you may purchase hundreds of products, including all TC direct products, with your MRP. My wife is saving ours to get an iPad!
One of the most helpful uses I’ve heard of was from a member of my team when he was short of cash, needed some TCredits and also had need of some VP for that particular month. He purchased 50 TCredits for only 4700 MRP and was able to accumulate 694VP at the same time. Bada bing, bada boom! A new EA!

How is SFI different or better than other affiliate programs?

Great question.
After looking, over the years, at numerous networking businesses, and having joined several, I can safely say that there are some very obvious differences.
Consistency. Gery Carson has led SFI through the years and has shown an uncanny ability to guide an international company to the lead in most areas of sales and entrepreneurship.
Quality. Every facet of sales, marketing and training are embedded with the finest quality systems and designed by the best people in the industry.
Systems. To me “systems” means qualification, pay and leadership structure. On the first of each month every affiliate starts fresh with zero(0) VersaPoints. Only the first level (Executive Affiliate) can be (and is encouraged) paid for with a standing order of 1500VP. In fact it is difficult to reach and, especially, maintain a Team Leader position without an actual “team.” Other “opportunities” actually encourage the purchase of higher, more highly paid, positions in the company.
Openness, and clarity of purpose through “Ask SC” and the SFI Forum are also two more features that make it stand apart from the others, which often seem steeped in secrecy.
The longer one is with SFI and you read and learn how the company works the more you can very easily see how it is head and shoulders above all the others.

I have planned a local get-together for A2A affiliates. Any suggestions on what to do at the meeting?

My vision of such a gathering is an informal one. A get together of like minded individuals who live in the same area but, perhaps, are feeling somewhat alone in the world of an internet marketing business.
Let’s get together in my living room and have a cup of coffee or a glass of ice tea. We can get to know each other and brain storm some ideas and concepts of sales, marketing and sponsoring. There are so many facets, both online and off, of each of these parts of business that everyone, I am sure, will have a unique viewpoint of each.
Perhaps if someone wished to bring a guest or two (important: This should NOT be billed as an “opportunity” meeting) there could be a “refresher course” of basics played on the computer projected on a large TV screen.
One important item that should be addressed right from the start is that cross solicitation is strictly prohibited. We all know that many of us have more than one iron in the fire but this will NOT be the forum for anything but SFI and TripleClicks. In fact, even though SFI is so simple I am sure an afternoon or evening would be filled well into the next time we meet.

Which is better and why...to contact my PSAs through SFI (e.g. PSA Mailer) or directly via their email address?

The best answer here is "both".
For mass mailing like my weekly newsletters I much prefer the Genealogy Mailer. It adds a touch of privacy as well as team identity to the mailing. It also yields 30 VP each week. Always a plus! Also it eliminates the inevitable bounced email addresses that will occur as your team increases in size. Of course it can always be personalized with the ~FIRSTNAME~ tag so it is a little less cold than just "hello team."
I find the use of personal email best for direct, up close communication with those on your team who need or want more personal attention. Especially "movers" or those who show a sincere interest in learning and growing.
When someone is new my favorite thing to do is to send a "Welcome" e-card. In fact I use e-cards extensively to keep in touch with those who are working within my team.

What do you do on a daily basis to promote your SFI business?

I rarely go through more than a couple of hours without thinking of SFI, Tripleclicks or one of the facets of these. So I love telling people about my online business, then giving them an x-card or a gift card (depending on where the conversation leads) and then follow up in a day or two.
I also have a couple of websites that I try to promote and submit everyday to search engines as well as placing banners and text ads on other sites and classifieds.
X-Cards are an awesome and inexpensive way to get the word out but they should not just be distributed without an explanation. Yes I know it’s hard to believe but if you exhibit some amount of enthusiasm people really WILL be interested in what you have to say.
For many it is so much easier to market online but there never has been anything better the personal touch. Try it, you’ll like it.

Is it wise to offer non-SFI related incentives to my CSAs and PSAs? For example, create a standing order and get a free DVD?

There are many team leaders who do just that.
Some will offer free ebooks. Others will offer shares of a co-op yet others, still, will offer a free membership on their private training site.
I, personally, offer reassigned affiliates for EA and EA2 status. I also have contests with gift certificates and ebooks as prizes.
But most important we must always remember that these incentives are simply a means to an end (success in SFI) not an end unto themselves.
How do I get my sponsor to notice me and provide guidance?

1. Do your "Daily Actions."
2. Set up a Standing Order for 125 tcredits (1500VP).
3. Send your sponsor a personal email telling them you are ready to grow and succeed.
4. Send the same email to everyone in your upline, including your co-sponsor.
I guarantee that at least one, if not everyone, in your upline will notice you and be there to help.
BTW I wish I had six just like you on my team. Best of luck in this terrific business opportunity.

Should I advise new PSAs to slow down and not qualify as Team Leaders so quickly?

I would never discourage a new PSA from advancing in any way.
I completely understand your concern because we all know that, with the new advancement requirements, it is totally possible to become Platinum Team Leader in a very short time while having no team at all. Thereby possibly causing frustration when the PSA finds out they not going to make any profit without having an actual team.
That said, I have found it is entirely possible to be a Bronze Team Leader with a minimal team and be able to reap all of the benefits of Team Leader status. Therefore to encourage slow but steady growth is always a good and positive thing.
Become EA and EA2 before stepping into the shoes of being a Leader. Then, after building a solid knowledge base of how to build and support your own team, you can grow into being a Team Leader. At that time one can train and support their own team and build a solid base for future growth and profits.
