To achieve a sense of team participation, the team leader should set an example. People like to follow leaders who put into action what they say.

1.) Show concern to your downline by asking them how you can help them in their pursuit of their SFI business. During your weekly communications with your downline thru PSA/CSA/Genealogy mailer, you can ask each of them to send you back email telling you of their concerns, their doubts, etc.
2.) Communicate with them on a regular basis, not necessarily on a daily basis. Say, twice a week.
3.) Know their problems that hamper their progress in pursuing SFI business. Once you know their problems, offer to help them in your own way. You can solicit suggestions from members of your downline. In this way, they really feel like members of your team.
4.) Establish rapport with them by telling them how you achieved your current progress. Tell them how you get into where you are today. In so doing, they feel some sense of belonging to your team and so they will be motivated to participate in any of your team’s undertaking and share their thoughts about attaining progress for your team.
5.) Conduct contests and offer rewards in terms of TCredits, MRPs, gift certificates and transfer of affiliates to the top achiever.

If an affiliate has a tight budget, maintaining his EA status could still be feasible by committing himself to do the following tasks:
1. On a daily basis you can earn 11 VP for a total of 330 points within a regular month by visiting your SFI homepage and clicking the "to-do list" tabs after reviewing the information on it.
2. On a weekly basis, you can visit your “TConnect Page” (5 each week), send email via PSA, CSA, Genealogy mail system (30 each week).
3. On a monthly basis, you can provide rating to your sponsor, co-sponsor and to SFI (10 VP each)
4. You can purchase low-priced e-books from TripleClicks store and wait for a notice to review them to get 25 VP each. This action is limited to 10 review per month. Or has it been lifted to “unlimited points” lately?
5. Tap your “warm” market (your immediate family, friends, relatives, office mates, etc.) with the use of SFI E-cards which are available free of charge. Conversing with your warm markets on this way could generate SFI and Tripleclikcs membership and subsequently generate purchases from them which could add up to your VP to maintain your EA status or higher.
6. A variety of short text ads could be sent to your warm markets which could gain word-of-mouth advertising for your SFI and Tripleclicks membership.
7. You can post free ads in social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, etc.
8. Add a signature in your email so that every time you send out email, your SFI ID# is embedded or appended on it to attract SFI and TripleClicks membership.
9. Click “Share/Save” button on each product in the Tripleclicks store while you are currently logged in the SFI website and share this information when you visit your Facebook, Twitter and other social networks you visit. This could generate Tripleclicks sales and add up to your VP.
10. You can purchase a “Wave3” starter kit by paying its shipping/handling fee of $1.95 only and have the car decal installed in your own car or even your friend/relative’s car, submit to SFI for approval and you will get free TC and MRP monthly. First, you have to have the guts to be a team leader. It is a driving force that will make you move and get out to advertise SFI and Tripleclikcs membership. That’s something that you have to bear in mind. Think about it, do something to attain it and in no time at all, you will be a team leader.

In order to have guts, you have to try everything that you could possibly do aside from doing your regular checking of your daily “to-do-list items” in your SFI homepage. There is no limit as to the ways and means to promote SFI and Tripleclicks. It just needs your imagination and guts to achieve what you think you can. Think about this: “If others can achieve team leadership level, why can’t you?” But you have to find ways realistically and achievably.

Try to advertise free in any of the social working sites or in any private traffic exchanges. They offer free memberships. Try to answer queries in “ASK THE COMMUNITY” SFI site. Your writing ability will be honed and could possibly win some VP as either the winner or the 2nd placer for each of the questions posted.
Use SFI’s free E-cards to introduce SFI to your “warm” communities (relatives, friends, officemates & other closed acquaintances) and you get some VPs if some of them join SFI. Purchase some cheaply priced e-books, review them and you get 250 VP maximum in a month.

Join some popular coop groups in SFI that will give you immediate PSAs within a couple of days.

SFI badges are so important for obvious reasons:
1.) It shows if you are an active affiliate or not.
2.) If you are active, you gain leadership title. By your leadership title, it shows your dedication to your SFI business by having a number of PSAs and CSAs under your able leadership.
3.) Badges also reflect the kind of dedication you have with regards to your SFI business.
4.) Badges give you more prestige and command respect and obedience by your downlines.
5.) Badges enable you to gain more access to your downlines activities by gaining access to their VP ledgers that will tell you how active or not active they are.

Having attained a Bronze Team leader title, here are what you can do to maintain your status at this level:
1.) Just choose any item from the Tripleclicks store that gives you 1500 VP + 100 VP bonus and have it ordered via a “Standing Order” status. This gives you a total of 1,600.
2.) The rest of 1400 VP can be earned thru the usual way of daily visiting your SFI homepage and responding to each “to-do list” items and you can get roughly 600 VP.
3.) Purchase 10 e-books and provide review on each of them and that gives you 250 VP.
4.) You can participate in answering questions in “ASK the community” and you might have a chance to obtain either 100 VP or 50 VP. Or, if your answers are really appropriate and good, you might have won at least 3 to 5 chances of winning the “top answer” which will give you 100 VP each.
5.) You can participate in “Daily Grand Draw” which could at least give you a chance or a couple of chances in a month to win either 50 or 100 VP or if you are lucky enough to win “Prestige Domain”, etc.
6.) You can purchase at least one 50-pack TC worth $19.50 which you can use in Pricebender auction sales.

Communicating with your downlines below your PSAs really pose challenges to a team leader. One needs to go beyond the routine CSA mailer system. You can single out those who really need help by looking at their VP ledgers. If you mention their exact VPs on a particular day and advise them that they can increase their VPs by accomplishing their “to-do-list” items, etc., they will know that you have personalized your concern for them and they might respond to this kind of effort on your part.

You can even mention their last day of login to the SFI system. This will wake them up and surely know that someone is caring for their SFI success thru your monitoring efforts.

You can use any of SFI-provided communication tools for this purpose, i.e., CSA mailer system, team talk, etc.
