When I am faced with negativity about SFI I don't look at it as rejection. I see it as an opportunity to improve my marketing approach. Always listen to your critics but never believe what they say is fact. They are looking through the telescope from the wrong end! So their perception is incorrect.

The path I take is to listen to their concerns and provide them with accurate value based information so that they can make an informed decision and not jump to conclusions based on their limited knowledge about SFI. Once, I have heard their concerns I present a counter argument as fact so they can make a rational decision.

For example, a prospect says 'All those internet make money from home businesses are just scams!' My response is, "I know that there are a lot of scams on the internet so I understand you feel skeptical but I've found SFI to be very rewarding. I've been a member for a number of years and I've personally gotten paid thousands of dollars from my affiliation with SFI. While I can't guarantee your income, I can guarantee that if you join my team I will help you build your business. You will never have to go it alone. I am always just an email or phone call away. Did you know that SFI has a support desk and you can call the office during normal hours? Scams don't provide their phone number so that you can call the head office! Even more, every time I've called, a live person actually answered the phone. How's that for customer service and support! You can join for free with no further obligation. I look forward to working with you so shall we begin?

If they have more objections, then I present a counter argument for the new opportunity presented. Sooner or later they will decide to either join or not. People love excuses so don't give them any. Let them decide one way or the other. Either way, you will gain useful knowledge that will help you close on the next prospect or you will gain another PSA!

A LocalPay merchant is one that accepts direct payments and/or provides options to buy TCurrency. Definitely you should deal with people who you can reach. Whether by skype, email, phone, or in person, deal with people who will answer your questions and concerns. Rating is important but you don't know why an ECA may have gotten an unfavorable rating.
Sometimes things happen beyond the control of the merchant. Customers can sometimes be unreasonable but as a matter of business it is better to try to appease the customer than to create a unhappy customer.

So when looking for a LocalPay merchant, try to communicate with them. If you get a timely response good. Compare services, prices, options, and the like. In the end, something will not go your way but overall when dealing with merchants customers should expect to be treated with respect, and great concern should be given to their demands. If you don't think you have this from a merchant then you have the right to spend your money where you are appreciated and get excellent service.

You should always follow up with your PSAs and CSAs regardless of their activity. Life happens and things change. An affiliate who is preoccupied by a career today may in 6mos have to resources to create an extra stream of income with SFI. Never say never. I have been in SFI for over 7 years and I have only been active for 4 of those years. For whatever reason, I delayed the process of growing my SFI business until I was inspired to do so. I didn't get a lot of support from my upline, but in time I learned enough about what I wanted to do and what I needed to do.

Therefore, just because your PSA or CSA is not accruing VP does not mean that they are not thinking about the business opportunity. Some of them just might be waiting for the right stimulus to spur on their activity. Wouldn't that be great if I came as a result of a good email message that you sent them? If you don't send the message, you can not affect their decision to continue.

Weekly follow with them is good enough. Focus your efforts on the active affiliates least they become inactive because they feel alienated because you are not supporting them.

Buying PSAs can be a viable alternative for the affiliate that has limited time to manage a co-op, promote, and advertise themselves. I buy some PSAs as well as I participate in SFI team building auctions for PSAs/CSAs. From the S-builder, I have bought 6 units at a time. I got PSAs over a period of time. Therefore by buying PSAs I leveraged my time and did so according to my budget.

However, I highly recommend that every PSA learn how to sponsor affiliates yourself. You can have greater control of the quality of the affiliates you receive because you know where the ads are placed. You can measure which sources are most productive for you. Although you can monitor the productivity of any source usings key codes, you can control placement when you do the promotions yourself.

In conclusion I recommend that you buffer your efforts with some affiliates that you buy and some that you sponsor using your own advertising. The reasoning is clear. The greatest advantage of using a co-op is that it saves you time and money. The advantage of doing your own sponsoring is you control the placement. You can measure the productivity of both by using key codes. Quality is to preferred over quantity anytime.

Here are the top characteristics that one should possess to be success in SFI:

1. Hard-working. If one is not willing to do the work, then don't expect to reap the rewards.

2. Patient. Everyday there is work to do. Often there is no obvious signs of progress. Through patience one can reap the harvest because they enduring the rough season to obtain the rewards of their labor.

3. Optimistic. Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes it is a tree of life. Entrepreneurs are contagiously optimistic even when things tank and the ship is sinking. You must have the grit to grab a bucket and start dumping water overboard! You never then when a 'tug boat' will come along to lend a helping hand or the 'coastguard' to bail you out. Don't be too quick to jump ship.

4. Realistic. Successful people set realistic expectations for themselves so they do fail before they begin. There is nothing with shooting for the stars but entrepreneurs can accept landing on the moon if that is the next best alternative.

5. Courageous. Successful people are often trailblazers. They are not afraid to push themselves past their comfort zone. They dare to succeed in the face of odds, criticism, and non-support.

The best way to convince PSAs to set up a Standing Order is to show them the benefit it is to them and their earnings. I can't emphasize enough the importance of setting a standing order yourself. It is a hard sell to tell your PSAs to do what you are not willing to do yourself. I recommend the IAHBE as I am a member. I can help my PSAs glean information from their IAHBE membership since I also have access to the information.

So how does having a standing order help the earnings of every PSAs? Simply by providing necessary marketing knowledge so that the PSAs will be able to learn how to market effectively. Without marketing, PSAs can't grow their networks outside of capital invested in auctions, co-ops, and other paid advertising. PSAs join SFI to earn money not to spend a lot of money on learning how to sponsor PSAs.

Knowledge is power. By the knowledge gained from your IAHBE membership, PSAs can learn to write good classified ads as well as effective promotion using article marketing, and email promos. This allows PSAs to effectively manage the costs involved to participate in co-ops, the S-builder, or pricebender auctions for PSAs.

Without a standing order, PSAs have to earn all of the VPs necessary to make milestones from action VPs. Without an active network, some of those action VPs are not available. To compensate for the difference in action VP needed to make milestones, the compensation plan allows 2000 VP from sales/purchases to count toward milestone achievement. The higher milestone achievement obtained, the more lucrative the compensation plan becomes.

Therefore, when you present the power of standing order to compensate for the lack of action VP obtained, it only makes good sense to set a standing order to ensure that the PSA will always have the VPs necessary to maintain a milestone.

You can use either method you choose to attract college students to SFI. First of all, you want to get clearance to post on the school bulletin board. Most college campuses have one but you do need to get permission to post things there. Check with the director of student services, or campus security.

Once you have clearance, then I would talk with the dean of the marketing department to see if I could do a presentation for the class. You'd be surprise how easy this can be arranged and you should be profession and prepared to present as if you were presenting to a board of directors. Make sure you have the facts straight and be prepared for questions at the end.

Another strategy you can use to attract college students is to place classified ads in the help wanted section of the school paper. If the school does not have a paper then you can do it in the local paper and include in the ad that you will interview college students. Here's an example that you can use:

The quality of the affiliates that you receive rather free or paid are about the same in my experience. The main difference is the volume as well as the time of delivery. With free ads you will need a concerted effort over a longer period of time to get measurable results. However with paid advertising you will get PSAs within 30 to 45 days as with the S-Builder or earlier depending upon their being a current campaign running.

The most effective is going to be a combination of both simply because you can't recruit a large enough team fast enough the free way neither can you afford to pay for one. Through testing and tracking you will have to find what works best for your financial goals and go for it!

The only time the quality is different is when you have up lines that sale verified workers through reassignments. I don't advise this practice but yes, they are already proven to be workers so when they are sold for $30 to $50 bucks a piece the seller is trying to compensate for lost direct commissions through reassignment.
