What are the best ways to stay in contact with PSAs and CSAs and how often is best?

There are many appropriate answers to this quesstion; but I believe the ultimate question that you are asking is for us to give you some of the ways that we have used that have worked. Fine.
One of the best ways that I stay in contact with my team is through social media. I use the normal SFI site to do the emailing and all of that, but when I see that I have a potential worker; whether PSA or CSA, I request them on media like Facebook, Twitter, LinkdIn - things of that nature. I try to stay in contact with them on a continued basis, not just on SFI.
I believe the more you help someone, the better they'll become. The better they become, the more successful they are. And in the words of the late Zig Ziglar, "you can have ANYTHING you want in life if you just help enough people get what they want in life."

How can I help TC & SFI become well-known around the world?
Now that is the perfect spirit!!! In order for SFI & TC to become the best product to offer to the world, we obviously need people from around the world to support the business.
I believe that if you really want this to become well-known around the world, the best way to accomplish that is to first support it with your own finances. The truth is anything that I believe in, I will support. Buying products from my own SFI / TC store will ensure that anyone following my example will do the same.
Also, by purchasing my own products, I can advertise with a firm belief in the product.

My advice to those who have seen the SFI business model and believe it to be something that they'd like to pursue, but don't think they have the time to invest - I would simply tell them that there is probably some time that they could carve out.
I have found that SFI doesn't take as much time as I originally assumed. I believed that this system would require hours of my time, daily, and I didn't think that I could do it either. What I have found is that because it is a "system," it requires less time. SFI is already built and already has clientele, which is usually the first part of any start-up. SFI has already done the hard work for us - creating a working system.
As a marketer, what I have seen is that my job is simply to do my daily work (10 minutes) and always be on the offense for new marketing opportunities. That means that in my daily living, I'm just a marketer - period! I do not do much differently than I do before except tell folk about my new business. I have shifted my priorities, that's all...

How can we advise our ECA's on which products to sell?
I think that is probably not the right question. Truth be told, I don't believe it is in our scope of things to suggest to the ECA what THEY should sell and for how much. We can be a sounding board when they are talking about their prices or their products.
I don't think it is our place to tell them what they should do; however, if we are asked, we should have done enough research to be able to answer intelligently.

You are asking about some common mistakes to try to avoid, huh?
I have been with the company for about 8 years now and, even though I am not an SFI expert, I have made some great strides with the company. I will say this, most of my success has come as a result of many failures leading up to that point. So here's what I've learned...
1. When you get a new PSA, don't wait more than 24 hours to contact him/her.
2. When one of your affiliates makes an accomplishment, MAKE A BIG DEAL OF IT!
3. Don't focus on "numbers," focus on each person as an apprentice.
4. If you don't know an answer to an affiliate's question, be sure to find it and get back with them ASAP!
5. Always make your affiliates feel like you are supporting them, instead of using them.
6. Don't do for your affiliates, what they can do for themselves...
There are many more, but I think this'll do for now...

Well, here is my take on it; and it may still sound like something you've heard before...
I was at a certain restaurant and had ordered my food; after I finished and was about to throw my receipt away, I noticed that this particular food shop had a coupon on its receipts. All you had to do to receive this coupon was to fill out a survey on the restaurant. Well, that day I was really hungry - all I had to do was fill out the survey. PERIOD!
How do you "MAKE" them respond back to your emails...? Incentivise your people...

I was one of those affiliates many years ago. I thought that SFI was just like all the other programs that I had seen and just left it alone. Then, one day, I decided, let me give this a chance...
My life hasn't been the same since. You should remain in contact with EVERYONE, per chance they become inquisitive and wish to give it a try. Imagine the benefit of having a willing affiliate who has been following you all the time, just in the background.

What would you consider to be too much and unnecessary communication with your team?

I believe that it is UNNECESSARY to send out everything that you do; except when it benefits your receivers. I would suggest staying in regular contact with ALL of your ACTIVE affiliates. There is no set number, but remember to keep them updated with all of your actions.
For your non-active affiliates, it is wise to, at least, send them a notice twice a month. You should send them updates that might pertain to them, should they decided to become active in the future.

This is probably one of the best questions to ask.
I believe that one of the best ways to use your WAVE 3 cards is to take them with you to the library, grocery store, gas station, and book stores.
At the library & books stores, I love leaving my WAVE 3 cards inside of the books. Usually I leave them in the business books, cooking books, or other areas where there are high profiled readers who might like to be on their own.
At the grocery stores, I usually leave them with the cereals or other boxed goods. I just place them right on the side of those products.
At the gas station, after I get my gas, I place the cards inside of the credit card slot and allow the next person who is preparing to get some fuel to benefit from this wonderful opportunity also.
