The best ways to recruit is to talk with, send SFI x-cards or e-mails to your family and friends. Ask them if they know anyone looking for a job or extra money. I like the personal tough of talking with people.
If you know anyone that's in or has been in marketing/sales or owns a business, these can be good leads. A lot of people are looking for extra income.
Make sure to keep in contact with the people you've already talked with. It may not have been a good time then or they may have more questions now. If their not interest, ask if they know anyone that are looking for a job or extra money.
Your friends on Facebook, Twitter, etc can be good leads also. Post by asking "Do you know of someone looking for job or extra money?" Saying it this way could have them refer you to someone they know or it may be them.
You really never know who will be interested and will become a good affiliate. Just keep working at it.
Don't forget S-Builder and TripleClicks Wave3 these are great ways to get affiliates.
The Wave3 decal on your car will have people asking you questions and a great way to start a conversation for TripleClicks and SFI.
You must work with all your affiliates to help them understand the system and to work at "their job". Some people don't understand this is their business and they must build a business one step at a time.
Also, advertise, advertise, advertise.
I've found these are the best ways for me, you may find better ways for you.

Hi Tricia,

If you live outside of the United States, you will probably be are able to sell items in other countries.
It is very expensive to send products out of the United States, so it would probably be a good idea to sell just in the United States.

The reason?
I use a drop shipper, but they do not ship outside the United States, so I decided to try to ship products to other countries myself.
I was selling a product to a nice affiliate that lives in Australia.
I found that the cost of slow shipment would be $75.00, the product only sold for $27.00! The buyer was very nice and agreed the shipping was too much.
Therefore, I had to decline the order and lost the sale.

The lesson I learned was to limit selling products in your own country, unless shipping costs are a reasonable charge for sending to other countries.

Promoting both TripleClicks and SFI to attract PSAs, ECAs and PRMs is the best way to become successful.

This is a hard question to answer and resolve. I have a couple of affiliates that have very limited internet access. I send more communications and advise them to work when they can, which they do. It is must be very discouraging and defeating for them. It's hard for them to become a team leader and to advertise their business on line regularly.

Here is some tips I have sent to help them.

If there is an area not too far that has better internet access:

1) Advertising can still be done about SFI and TripleClicks. Place ads in:
a) Newspapers
b) post flyers in businesses about SFI and TripleClicks.
c) Send hand written letters to friends, neighbors, and people you meet

I believe there are several thing that can "turn off" new affiliates, but avoiding talking about these could also send them away.
Because people can sign up for free, many will and never come back again.
A lot of new affiliates will not continue for several reasons. I try to address these to new PSAs & CSAs right away. My theory is, if they aren't going to work, they might as well keep surfing. Some will come back later and some won't.

WHAT ARE THE TURN OFF REASONS?

Answer: Sorry, this is a legitimate internet business which you must work at daily to become successful.

THESE ARE THE BIGGEST!
3) A Multilevel Company.
4) A Marketing Company.

SFI is a "multilevel marketing company". Many people don't understand "Multilevel" or "Marketing". Explaining what these really means, will help new affiliates to understand what they can do and why they can become a success in THEIR SFI business.

WHAT IS MULTILEVEL?
Multilevel is how you receive your paycheck. If you work hard you will receive a bigger paycheck and percentage of benefits.
Many people say, "I'm not going to work just for someone else to become profitable!"
Every company works on the multilevel system for a paycheck.
For example:
1) If you are a teller in a bank or a sales person at a store, you receive a paycheck on what and how well you do.
2) The manager receives a bigger check from the profits you have helped make.
3) The President receives a bigger check on these profits.
4) The owner and/or stock holders receive a much bigger check on these profits.

This is called multilevel, each person receives a percentage of the profits on the business.
By acquiring new PSA & CSAs and helping them become successful, will help you go higher in your business and receive a bigger percentage of the profits and benefits. As your team works and grows their business, they receive a bigger percentage of the profits and benefits, causing you to receive even more.

Many new affiliates forget that they are receiving the commission for only showing up daily and doing the actions. Here are some suggestions to tell your affiliate.

The most effective motivation that I've found to get affiliates to qualify for EA or Bronze Team Leader, is to set up a contest.
You can give Gift Certificates or TCredits as the prize. You can give these to your PSA's and CSA's
Please note that Gift Cards cannot be given to affiliates, you must use Gift Certificates.
