Skype is available on Windows, Mac and Linux as well as Apple is, Google Android and Symbian mobile device operating systems.
For free subscribers. For video calls, it’s only up to 3, including the host. For voice only conference calls, you can join up to 25 online Skype users.
For paid subscribers. A video call could have up to 10 participants, including the host. For audio only conference calls, you can call up to 25 participants. Note: for best quality Skype suggests only 5 members
Skype makes you pay when the groups are more than 3.
Alternatives:
1. Google+ Hangouts, really impressive – this is browser based, anyone on any system or web browser can use this. you can choose from your group. Voice and video quality better. Can hold 10 people. It is free
2. ooVoo – can have 12 members to chat free. Supports windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad etc.
3. Paltalk – it's free, allows 10 voice and video support. Only you have to download the software and install it. Others can join you through browsers.
4. Sifonr – no registration or signups. Just enter the room and join.
Have some more Tokbox (can 20 participants) Tiny chats (no installation required. )
