Duplication is very important, in my opinion, because it is difficult to do everything all by yourself.

We need leverage, which means that we need the help of a whole team of workers to get the job done to be successful.

We need to be able to communicate what we do to become successful, so that everyone can also be successful on our team...by communicating we can create duplication and help our entire team grow into a strong income producing team.

The answer to this question all depends on how you define success. The fact that you are part of SFI and have been a member so long makes you a success story, already!

There are some people that will never be able to be self-employed, because they do not even know about SFI. However, YOU do know all about SFI.

Ask yourself why you are a member of SFI? What attracted you to start your own journey in SFI? Share your story with others. Do not tell them because you wish them to become members...they may not be ready, but they may know others that may be interested in SFI. Ask for referrals.

Tell others about the gift card, and offer them a FREE gift card if they can tell you 10 people that would be interested in SFI...even if they personally are not ready to be members. But, if they refer 10 members and get a FREE gift card that is redeemed at YOUR store...even if they are telling you they are not interested or not ready...the gift card will make them still shop and spend money at your store. What if there is not enough money on the gift card? They will want to buy the merchandise, anyways...and either they will find a way to get more money for the products, or ask you for another gift card and provide you with 10 more referrals.

Even people without computers may have a SFI account. Computers are at coffee shops, libraries, book stores, college campus, and even on a cell phone there is internet access.

Also, you may advertise SFI over the Internet. There are places to put FREE classified ads, and post ads for free newsletters that invite people to your SFI website. You may even use traffic referral pages or exchange website links with others. Flyers on cars also help. If they have a car...they can get a Wave3 Flyer and eventually put a sticker on their car. Where there is a car there is a new Wave3 Member, potentially.

The fact that YOU live in Africa and are successfully an active member of SFI that is asking the right question in the right places...proves that you already have what it takes to be successful at SFI...and you are currently leading by example. You have no limits. You may set goals and achieve them for yourself. There is nothing stopping you, except for yourself, and your self-doubts.

Set little goals for yourself, then as you achieve them, set greater goals. For instance, tell yourself you will give away 10 flyers, business cards, or gift cards each day...or at least approach 10 people with your business opportunity each day. Keep track of who you approached and get contact information and ask for a good time to follow-up with each person you contact, then successfully follow-up.

Do not judge anyone. The person that does not have the expensive car or the business clothes may be the one that needs SFI to help them make the income they need to lead a better lifestyle. You are selling them the income opportunity. Everyone wants to make money, win prizes, learn for FREE, and a better lifestyle.

Share your success story with others, and let them know why you became a member of SFI. Did anything hold you back? Chances are that others will find a way to join SFI, and we all know the business start-up costs do NOT hold others back...because, it is FREE to join.

Instead of asking "How can I become successful in SFI?" You can ask yourself how can you not be successful? Some SFI members are not even at a high enough level in SFI to be able to submit questions, and you are. You must be at least EA2 to submit questions. So the fact that you are able to submit questions in the SC section proves you are successful.

Be a great leader. Also, read about being a great leader. There are many SFI articles and other online eBooks, and writings about how to lead by example. Tell others how you got the high leadership position that you have. What inspires you to be a member of SFI such a long time. People will wish to learn about SFI on their own, by watching you as successful as you are, even in Africa...or anywhere you may live.

You are your own success story...you already are successful in SFI. Others quit, or did not even take the time to advance to the level you are. They will now look to you for advice. If you lived somewhere else, why would this make you more successful, do you think? Would it really make a difference where you live? Life is what you make of it. You also define success. Some people work 9am until 5pm and make minimum wage, and consider themselves successful. Others make more money than them and work less hours, and they too think they are successful. Some people are retired and do not work at all, and consider themselves successful. Others may be the richest people in the world, but may not even have any friends, and although those without lots of money may view them as successful, they may think of themselves as failures in life, because in their eyes, money comes easy to them, but they are sad and lonely...yet, if we were in their shoes we would define success by the amount of money we make, maybe. Success is really dependant on how we define success.

Someone that did not make it to leadership in SFI will want to know why you ask "How can I become successful?" The same as someone that is not rich will wonder why a billionaire is not always happy. It really depends on your outlook in life, and your description of SFI.

If you start off with little goals, after you start achieving these goals...you will start to feel successful, and maybe soon you will realize how successful you really are. Start by telling 10 people a day about SFI, and getting their contact information, and stay in touch with these people and let them know you are a successful leader in SFI and will be there to answer the questions. Then direct them to the FREE Online LaunchPad training...where they can find all the answers to their questions, and even earn VP, cash, and prizes while they get all their questions answered for free.

Also, congrats on your leadership in SFI, you are so successful, already, and just needed someone to tell you this. You would be successful no matter where you live...

Make sure you ask their goals, and inform them you want to help them to achieve these, together.

Our goals are mostly to encourage, ongoing, even through their first post, to their first sale, and to celebrate their accomplishments, together.

Sometimes, even a simple congratulations, and other encouraging words are all that are needed. Maybe, support, since they are new, they may just need advise.

Just communicate with them, so they know you are available if they need you at some point.

The best way to do this is through the products SFI has at TripleClicks.

Find what products are currently being purchased in the household...vitamins, dish detergent, carpet cleaners, floor cleaners, etc.

Print out flyers and ask for assistance with passing out "free" flyers, placing "free" ads, show how even "not" spending money helps earn real money.

Show the PPA (Paid Per Action) Program, on ways to earn money without an investment. Then show what each referal earns, long-term, if you chose to keep them on your team, instead of obtaining the short-term income from referring into the PPA program, instead of as a PSA (Personally Sponsored Affiliate), instead.

Show that is is possible to make money without an investment. Also, show how much better it is long-term to invest into the business, even by small purchases you currently make already somewhere else...

Continue to ask for assistance with free advertising, posting business cards, flyers, continue to promote SFI/TripleClicks ads with its eco-friendly ingredients, and better quality items, and lower prices, also show how prices are less with standing-orders, instead of a regular priced order, although still lower priced than store bought, either way.

Make sure to take pictures of items at stores when sold-out, and mention that if it was placed on standing order, there would be no need to worry about store-bought items running out...they would be replenished automatically, each month, and would earn you an even bigger savings on the items, and a higher commission...

Also, if you share your items and low prices at places people share coupons, such as libraries, PTA Meetings, consignment shops, etc...even if you cannot convince your partner...others will see the savings and join your team, and you would earn from their commissions earnings just from your efforts to convince others, not just your partner why it is better to switch to higher quality items, that cost less than store purchased.

Also, make sure your partner sees where you are advertising...use tracking codes to see where people are finding flyers, coupons, and other ads.

In time, your partner will be convinced...but, make sure that you convince others too...and even before making an investment with your own money, your business would be funded by other's purchases, as well.

If you are not ready to invest financially it would be wise to invest in time, and efforts, and build a team of others that can help out financially, and with time, too.

Spend time convincing others, not just your partner. Encourage your partner as one would encourage team members...we can start with family members, but continue to promote to community, as well...

If they have no money, I recommend the TripleClicks Membership...they can sell things for extra money. If they have no things of their own to sell, they may refer others to listings to sellers pages. They make a percentage of the sales if they were sent there by someone and it results in a sale.

Also, if they are under-employed or unemployed, as long as they have a car, they may use the sticker and advertise for the company, and have a chance to win cash and prizes.

If the person has a computer, they may also visit daily and do the to-do-list for extre VP Points, and also finish the fast-track-training, and LaunchPad training for free...and if YOU have not done your LaunchPad training, and the daily to-do-list it is a great time to start. Also, treat SFI like it is your very own company...because, you are a member of SFI, and it should be thought of this way. If you worked as a manager at a restraunt, how would you succeed there? First you would hire workers, then you will train them, and be a great manager-and leader, then your business will grow. Is this how SFI can grow, too? SFI is listed in the Better Business Bureau, which is important to some countries. SFI also helps reward those for their FREE training, especially if they learn and earn 500 VP in their first 24 hours of becoming a member. So, tell people sign-up when they have about 4 hours to visit the LaunchPad and get their modular training in so they will be rewarded instant 200 VP. All these things are FREE, by the way. And, this is what we do as a manager at any company, right? We provide training, and answer questions as their manager/leader. We even have resources at SFI to help you lead well in the "How to become a great SFI sponsor" training section.

Also, those that are underemployed or unemployed have all the time in the world to devote to SFI training, and may even win cash and prizes, too. And, they can make money by selling their own items and/or someone else's items that are already listed. You are HELPING these people by either creating a second income, or just providing an income.

Do not be in such a hurry for these new affiliates to become a leader...they do at their own pace. If they just start reading, learning, and following all their free advice, they will automatically become EA's but, need to continue to be encouraged by you to learn daily, and going to the to-do-list.

The unemployed and under-employed are actually the BEST people to have SFI. Those that work full-time do not usually have the time to learn on fast track with SFI, as those without much money do. I am not saying to ignore those with full-time jobs, either. Just promote your company SFI to EVERYONE, and do not judge who will do well or who will not. Because, those that are not interested are the ones that may know over 100 people that ARE interested in SFI.

Also, if they are not interested, they can still help by earning money or gift cards or something for referring others to you, if you offer them this. This is just an idea.

I wish you well with these two groups of people. I think SFI is the greatest thing for them, as most start-up fees are high, and SFI is FREE, and even free training and rewards as you learn, just like a real job does it.

First, treat SFI like any other company with a customer service complaint. Handle the complaint. What is causing their negative feelings toward SFI? Have they EVER been a member of SFI, before? Did they know SFI is listed with the Better Business Bureau? Do they know SFI is FREE and does not even require ANY start-up-costs, like some companies do? Do they know they can earn while they learn? Know all the pros and cons about SFI. The con's are the hardest part for me to think of, but if there are negative feelings about SFI, I am sure the reasons will be provided. Do not tell them anything that is not true. If you cannot answer questions, it is best to say "I will contact my team leader and get back to you with the answers."

Second, offer them a gift card, as most people do when they have an unsatisfied customer. Say, I apologize that you feel this way; here is a gift card to hopefully make it better. If you don't find anything you are interested in at SFI, please pass it on to someone that you think may enjoy this gift card. Also, offer them a chance to make SFI better. Tell them if you cannot resolve their issue now, SFI has a suggestion box so that you may tell SFI why they are not happy about SFI. Then get this person's contact information, so that you may submit a ticket to SFI on the customer's behalf, and contact this person when SFI has advised you how to proceed with this customer's concerns. Remember, you are NOT alone with SFI. This is not negativity towards you it is just an issue that needs to be resolved to make this person's experience better.

Third, think of this experience just like you were working at any company, and you have a negative or dissatisfied customer or guest. Handle it the same way. If you are not a manager at the company, you would get assistance from the manager, just as you would get assistance from your SFI leaders or someone with more experience than you. Or, you may try to handle it on your own with gift cards, or offer suggestion box to make it better, or a solution to this problem, as with any company. If you were working at a department store, and someone mentioned they did not like your prices, and they will shop elsewhere, that company would do anything possible to keep this customer. This is what you should do when someone talks negatively about SFI. You defend the company, but respect the customer, after all without customers there is no company, really.

To handle a negative situation, we must learn first what is making SFI appear negative to others, and getting that person to think differently about SFI. You will need to just answer all the questions, or try to, and turn their comments to positive.

Did you know that most companies have positive and negative comments about them? SFI is also backed by the BBB Better Business Bureau. You may wish to mention this to people. This means that if there is a complaint, SFI usually resolves them, because they wish to remain a member of the BBB. Not all companies can be members. This proves SFI is a reputable company. Mentioning this may help the person feel more positive about SFI, too. Also, the fact that SFI has been around over ten years may be important to know.

Usually, when a person has never heard about a company, they are not going to speak positive about a company, because they do not trust companies they have not done business with. This is why it is important to always have gift cards, so that people know they can visit SFI for FREE, and learns all there is to know about SFI, and then they will know enough information to be able to trust SFI, and begin not to feel so negative about SFI, anymore.

Negative customers CAN make great customers, if handled correctly. Did you ever notice long lines of unhappy people in a department store, with many returns, because they had a negative experience? When the customer service personnel hand them a gift certificate to their store, they do NOT actually lose the customer, and the customer's whole personality changes, and they return to the store, again, happy? SFI is your department store, just like this. Customers are NOT always happy, you know? It is up to the customer service representative, in this case YOU, to handle the situation professionally, and courteously, and get the help of your leaders if you need assistance. This is just like any other company you represent.

If you worked at any other place, besides SFI, and someone came in with a negative attitude, think of ways you would handle this situation, too. Then you may handle SFI the same way. You must remain positive about the company you work with. If you work anywhere to be successful, you must always remain positive. Think of this as a learning experience. You wish to find out why these negative feelings are there, and turn them around. Focus on the problem, listen to the customer, repeat the customer's concerns back to them, so they KNOW you were listening, and then come up with a solution to the problem that gives the customer a positive impression about the company. This is great customer service that is required for any company.

There are also many articles online that help answer this question for you. I had customer service experience, before. However, I read many training books, and watched many modules to teach me. You can benefit by learning about good customer service skills, as this will teach you how to turn complaints or concerns into positives.

I hope this has helped. I had many times to deal with negative people. Some of my friends, family, and relatives do not even understand some of my decisions, or income choices. Yet, after they see how well I am at it, they still come to me for advice. Sometimes, negative people seek out those with a positive attitude, as they see your confidence and trust that you have the ability to share your experiences with them, and resolve conflicts. And with practice, you will be able to do it. I know you can! You already made an important step to remaining positive...you asked the right questions in the right places.

Here is a great place to leave your SFI goals frequently, I usually check my goals, daily to see they are being accomplished:

Start by writting a list of all your bills, currently. See how much you will need to pay all your bills each month. This would be your minimum goals to want to earn enough to pay all your bills, each month.

After you see that you can pay all your bills, you may wish to earn a little more so that you may save some extra money in a savings account, or save it somewhere safe, if you do not have a savings account, now...this would be a great goal.

The money is in case you have an extra expense that you will need extra money put aside for so that you can still easily pay all your bills if an emergency situation came up, such as a family sickness, a flat tire, bad weather preventing you from accessing Internet or work, etc. A great goal will be to save up enough for about 6 months of income to be able to pay all your bills comfortable in case you could not work for 6 months. Hopefully, you never need to use this money, but at least you know it is here, in case you ever do.

After you have created the important first two goals, above you should check, daily at the website https://www.sfimg.com/Home?tab=goals to see if your income goals are actually being met. If you are accomplishing all these goals, you can start to create more goals. If you are not accomplishing them, keep working to see how you will make these goals be met, longer. See what is preventing goals from being met, and change that behavior.

Once these goals are met, be sure you can make more money to start fulfilling your dreams.

If you have an old car, old home, etc., you may wish to save to maybe update them with repair, unless it costs less to replace them. These would make great goals.

Some people with big families will help teach others how to meet their goals do chores, to be financially set. However, if they are too young to learn, you may help by setting aside savings plans for children's future such as college, books, supplies, etc.

You should also plan retirement income early, rather than later. Your goals are as big as you can dream. With SFI it is great to think big.

The more you can dream, the more goals you can set. However, be sure they are all realistic goals. If you have had trouble with a goal, ask someone more experienced that has achieved this goal for advice. Most people will want to share success with others and you can learn so much from someone that has or had the same goals with you.

With SFI, it is great to share your goals with your sponsor/co-sponsors.

Most your team members will help you to achieve them.

It is often more difficult to "explain" the importance of duplication, rather than "showing" them its importance.

It is very important that your 'actions" are speaking better than your 'words'.

However, when your actions AND your explainations are the same, this even makes you a stronger leader, because you are able to lead by example, and also offer advice.

Make sure you have an open line of communication with all so they not only can communicate with you, but may also ask 'your' team leader questions, and share ideas with them, too.

If you are not duplicating your own personal team leader and/or co-team leader, you would not want your team to duplicate you, either.

You may also wish to learn about all your team members. There is a section in their profile that allows you to put notes about them, too. This would be a great place to put notes such as their goals, their questions, and whatever else you may find useful to know about each team member.

It is important that you help answer their questions, and if you do not know the answers, go to your sponsor, co-sponsor, SFI support team, forum, and other places to get their questions answered, and goals met.

By doing this, you will help them duplicate, because when someone else is trying to achieve the same goals and/or has the same questions, the same care you, as their team leader, have taken the team member will remember this, and show the same care you have and duplicate your example.

Share all your knowledge, the more informed they are the easier time they will have duplicating all that you have done.

To keep them focused, always offer advice, ask if they have questions, communicate regularly, keep your Leadership page up-to-date. Recognition pages are to be used to acknowledge others that have done a great job and imitated a common goal, or achievement.

Always communicate and share, because this will help keep them focused, and aways lead by example as actions are stronger than words.

In addition, as you learn something new, share it. As a team leader, or sponsor or co-sponsor, people will start looking to you as a leader, for advice so they can remember to share with others who in turn will duplicate your advice too.

There are people that are more ambitious than others. They take the time to read 30 days of LaunchPad, and ask questions if they do not understand things.

They do things quicker, not necessarily because of who their sponsor is, or who they know, but because of what they know, and have taken the time to research and learn about.

They look at the leader board, and make friends with all the leaders, not just from their country, but from other's countries. It helps to be multilingual, but if there is a different language spoken, they take the time to translate the other's language and understand people. They do this, so that if they are preparing to be successful, they will know how helpful it would be to know someone in leadership from every country so that if they sponsor in a different country than their own, they could either ask questions, or refer others to people that can know all about their country and be a local form of support. Likewise, if a team member from my own country wishes to become friends with them, they would return the favor and answer questions for them, too.

They are not afraid to share knowledge and help out their own team members, but help someone else's too. In doing this, they are more likely to succeed, because we are always learning not from just news articles on SFI, but from team members, leaders, and members of the support team.

If they personally do not know the answers to questions, they do not make the answers up, either. It is better to say I do not know, or I will find out for you, and get the answer for you.

These people get things finished much more quickly than someone that tries to do ALL BY THEMSELVES, and does not have good communictions skills.

Some people do not have much time to do things quickly, too. It takes those without much time to devote to earning while they learn, a longer period of time than someone with much time on their hands.

Also, some people that do not have experience either hire professionals to help, or ask friends to help, or learn to be experienced. The ones without time or experience are usually slower at doing things.

There are many different types of personalities in the world. Some people learn and earn more quickly than others because of their personalities, schedules, challenges, lifestyles, and many other unforseen factors.

Also, some people like to take extra time to plan, and set goals. Usually, those with goals who plan are more organized and can save time after planning and setting goals. This is why goal-setting and planning can help do things successfully, the first time.

However, if you are one that does not do things as fast as someone else does, it is not necessarily a bad quality, either. As long as we never give up on ourselves we will be successful, eventually.

Some people work slow turtle speed, and others work fast like rabbit speed. However, if a turtle and a rabbit were in a race, they could both make it to the finish line, as long as they keep a steady pace, and do not give up. Slow and steady could also win the race.

If you are offering the SFI opportunity to OTHERS, then rejection should not happen over and over...

Different people do not actually act exactly the same as all the rest that have rejected you in the past.

Are you sure you are not approching the same people and getting rejected over and over by the same people?

If someone is not interested, and you show them the SFI opportunity, again, they will not always become interested.

Maybe a better question is how do we handle the first rejection? When someone tells you they are not interested, it is best not to contact them, again about the same SFI opportunity over and over, again...just to get repeat rejections.

How better to handle this is just be rejected once. Hand them your business card, or a Gift Card, and let them know you will be there for them to answer any questions, or if they change their minds and want to contact you about it, or if they never have time or interest, you may ask them to pass the information to someone else for you that they think will enjoy this...and never approach them again, unless they bring it up.

Also, remember they are not rejecting you, they are just rejection SFI.

There are many reasons people reject SFI, however not everyone will, some people will accept SFI.

However, if you keep asking the same people that for some reason reject opportunities, you are wasting your time, and are not handling rejection, but rather preventing acceptance by someone else.

However, someone that can walk away from those that have rejected SFI, and seek out more positive people that would accept SFI would have a very different outcome.

If you approach the same people over and over, you will receive the same reaction, nothing will change. If for some reason they did join SFI, after rejecting over and over, would you really want them on your team? They are likely just to quit because something is causing them to reject SFI. These are not possitive people.

When these negative people see you years from now, successful with SFI, building a team with other like-minded successful people, maybe these same people will realize they just let a great opportunity pass them by when they were not ready, or maybe they will never realize it. Your success does not depend on others, especially those full of rejections. They are likely not to take your advice, or be successful, either.

You can lead a negative person to SFI over-and-over, but, you cannot change their outlook, or make them successful.

If they are not part of your team, find a stronger team member that is worth your time, and worthy of running a home-based-business successfully, and who would accept SFI, and who is teachable and possitive.

Do not deal with the people that do not have anything possitive to share about SFI. Once rejected is enough...do not approach them so they have the chance to reject again.

If they change their mind, on their own, if they were given a business card or contact information, they will contact you when and if they are ready for SFI, and not before.

If you continue to approach them after they rejected SFI, you both will be upset about it, since they already said no.

Hopefully, you will start to find more accepting people if more time is spent on them helping build your business. You only need one person to accept because they will share it with family and friends, and others that are accepting of them.
