Are there any shortcuts to success in SFI for new affiliates?

The short answer is NO. If there were, we would all be extremely rich by now.
Shortcuts are what the 'get rich quick' schemes promote - Not SFI.
SFI is here to stay. It is not a scheme.
SFI is a business. Like all business of substance, it has to have structure, it needs to be promoted, the staff need to be trained, it has to have good and marketable products and services, those need to be promoted etc.. These all take time, patience and effort.
We certainly use time and effort saving activities within SFI in the way we conduct our business. That is only natural and is the only way to conduct any business.
Shortcuts are for the fly by night schemes and those looking for quick and easy money.

What is the best way to become a Team Leader?

You have to work. There are no short cuts. If you have a reasonable budget, that would help.
For a start, ensure that you have a Standing Order of at least 1500 VPs. This ensures that you do no fall below the EA level. Remember the maximum sale VPs you can have is 2000, you therefore have to collect the VP balance to qualify for you Team Leader level with Action VPs.
The best way to collect these is to grow an active team of affiliates and their downlines and at the same time promote heavily TripleClicks products and services. Your teams activities as well as those you refer to TripleClicks will earn you action VPs.
You can also be very active within SFI - participating in all the contests, asking questions and reviewing answers on ASK SC, bidding at the auctions etc..All these also earn you action VPs.
What we have been talking here about is the mechanism of reaching /retaining you Team Leader rank. The other point is that just because you have reached team leader level does not make you a team leader.
A true team leader is grateful to his team, is there to serve his team and is readily available to his team, has a great sense of responsibility towards his team members, is a worker and leads by example, he teaches and nurtures his team etc.. If you consistently practise all these and more, then you are already a great Team Leader. If you are not then keep working at it and I wish you all the very best.
Blessings.

I have planned a local get-together for A2A affiliates. Any suggestions on what to do at the meeting?

Congratulations for taking this initiative. It sounds like its the first time you are getting together with your A2A friends so let it be a meeting of friends!
You probably have been communicating with each other online but this is the 1st time you are meeting in person. The key to remember here is that you all have a lot more in common than differences. You are all from the local area and you are all SFI affiliates with one goal and that is to run successful SFI businesses. If that wasn't the case why bother with SFI and A2A in the 1st place.
I would suggest that you approach the meeting with a relaxed attitude. You are going to meet your friends, and this will hopefully the 1st of many meetings to come. You are getting to know each other more and learn from each others experiences.
Depending on the situation, this could be just a casual get together over a cup of coffee or beer for an hour or 2, or it could be a formal meeting with a set out agenda or program.
I would prefer the casual approach. If you are to learn from each other, people need to be relaxed and be willing to share experiences. A formal setting is not always conducive to those things happening.
Throw away your agenda and just go. The conversation will naturally flow towards your common interest SFI.
Good luck.

Should I promote participation in Pricebenders to my team? If so, for what reason(s)?

The answer to your 1st question is Yes – promote Pricebender Auctions to your team.
The reason why they should take part in the Auctions are because of the many benefits they can get by participating:
- Auction is fun, and the thrill of winning an auction can be quite exhilarating.
- There is a whole range of items on auction – business and non business related and they can have their pick.
- A lot of the items for auctions are very useful for building their businesses. Just have a look at the PSAs, CSAs, TCredits, S Builders, etc
- Every time they bid they are granted 1 Action VP
- They get MRPs, sometimes doubled
- Every 10 bids they also get to spin for the chance to win PSAs
As you can see apart for the non business related items, bidding on the auctions can actually help to build up they businesses.
On top of all these, if they build successful businesses, guess who also reaps the benefits? You do!! So go ahead and promote Pricebender Auctions to your team.

What do you do on a daily basis to promote your SFI business?

I have a number of activities to promote my business but because of time constraints, I do not do them all every day.
My minimum Daily actions to promote my business are:
1. Sponsoring activities. The business also needs to be promoted to my downline, training them, encouraging them to grow their businesses, thereby growing my business. Duplication is my focus. If they are successful, my business will also be successful. Check 'My Movers' VP Ledgers, send out encouraging emails, responding to their emails, stream etc..
2. Follow up on all business leads. Never miss any and grab any opportunities that come my way.
3. Place advertisements/email etc with at least one of my promotional avenues. I promote both TC and SFI with a heavier emphasis on recruiting SFI affiliates.
I also carry out other activities such as distributing leaflets, running promotional campaigns, working on my website & promoting it, research for trends & marketing niches and advertising sites etc.. but not on daily basis.

Is it wise to 'bribe' your downline with Gift Certificates, TCredits or other incentives? Or does this practice come back and bite you?
Nimo Ponifasio, Aff (New Zealand)

Affiliate since: 10/01/2013, Power Rank: 99999999
It all depends on how you do it.
I would not call that 'bribe.' I would see such actions as simply part and parcel of being a good sponsor but as I said before it depends on how you do it.
I have had newly signed up affiliates who have not even earned 1VP asking me where they can collect their Gift Certificate. I respond by asking them how they come to believe that they are entitled to a Gift Certificate - where did they get that information from. They never respond because I don't offer Gift Certificate for simply signing up to SFI. I know some SFI members offer these certificate for signing up but I don't have such a generous budget.
The only incentives that I provide are those that tend to build up teams such as competitions and co-opts. I do not send out individual gifts and incentives as a rule.
If an affiliate is working hard and has reached a worthwhile milestone then I would send him/her a gift. Its a congratulatory gift in the sense that I want to recognize the milestone and I want to build up good relations with that affiliate but it is also an incentive to keep them working. I make sure all the other team members know about the 'gift' as an inspiration to all.
I want them to learn for themselves, to stand on their own two feet, be self motivated and get a great sense of achievement when they are successful.
The last thing I want are affiliates who are dependent on me. I am their sponsor not their mother.
Blessings

When do I know that I've become successful in SFI and TripleClicks?
Nimo Ponifasio, Aff (New Zealand)
9/18/2014 4:05 am
Affiliate since: 10/01/2013, Power Rank: 99999999
The answer is actually short and sweet:
When you have achieved the long term goals that you set for yourself you can rightly claim to be successful.
Success is really a very personal thing and we all have different ways of measuring success and we all use different measuring standards.
I know that the tendency is to look at people making a lot of money and say that they are successful but if that so called successful person is still driving himself to make more money what does that say about how he views success. Perhaps his measure of success is an even larger pile of money than what would be sufficient for you and I. Or perhaps to him, having a lot of money is simply a means of achieving other measure of success - being able to provide for his family or - being able to provide employment for others or - the ability to give generously to charity or - becoming famous etc..
So I guess what I am saying is: Do not worry what other people may think. Set you own goals and when you achieve them and are happy with yourself, then you are truly successful.

If someone asks me about TripleClicks, what can I say that is both brief and will get them interested in TripleClicks?

I would tell that person the following about TripleClicks:
TripleClicks is an online store that has been trading internationally for 17 years. That’s quite an achievement for an international online trader and that speaks volumes of its reliability and the quality of services it provides. It’s definitely here to stay.
It has a wide range of products and services – over 80,000 of those and with about 4,000 ECAs from about 149 countries. It has over 3 million members.
It’s free to join TripleClicks and as a member not only can you purchase good quality goods but you can also participate in online auctions. The Auctions are cheap and most of the items sold on auctions are sold at a fraction of their retail prices.
There are also online games that one can take part in.
If you have good quality products to sell you can also set up an online store with TripleClicks. Just apply for it and list your items at no cost to you. There will be a small fee when you make a sale – no sale no charge.
I would also say that he/she can also join as an affiliate and get involved in promoting/selling TripleClicks products. The affiliates are paid commission for the sales they make and these commissions are very generous indeed.
All the above should spark an interest in TripleClicks and if that happens then I would of course take it further depending on which aspect he/she is interested in – PRM? PSA? ECA?

What are the best facts, stories, and figures you can share with friends and family to gain their trust and get them enrolled in SFI?
Nimo Ponifasio, Aff (New Zealand)
3/25/2014 8:02 am
Affiliate since: 10/01/2013, Power Rank: 99999999
Short Answer - YOUR OWN
You can show them "SFI by the Numbers" as per the SFI News.
You can tell them about the history of SFI and its successes.
You can tell them what other people have said about SFI and show them their testimonials.
You can give them a presentation about how SFI operates and how they would conduct their own business.
You can show them all these but they are only supporting 'evidence' Your friends and family members are interested in YOU. What you have to say, what successes you have achieved.
If you want to enroll friends and family in SFI, approach them with caution. Hopefully you have a great and trusting relationship with them.
Give them the facts and BE HONEST. If you haven't yet make any big amounts of money, be honest about it but identify and focus on the positive points such as growth and potential. Present the facts and leave it there. Don't push it if you like. If they are mildly interested, they will monitor your progress and will become curious and may even enroll when they see that you are getting more and more successful.
If you dont want to do that, I would recommend that you hold off approaching friends and family members for now. Concentrate on other forms of recruiting building up your team and earning amounts. You can always approach family and friends at a later stage.

Is cold calling, using a local telephone directory, a good method for attracting new PSAs?
Nimo Ponifasio, Aff (New Zealand)

Affiliate since: 10/01/2013, Power Rank: 99999999
Yes it can be.
This depends largely on your own personality and your ability to talk with people. Remember you are just a voice over the phone. You do not have much time to grab the listener's attention. Also remember SFI's reputation is on the line every time, so you've got to be professional.
Your preparations must be the very best and well thought out:
- The area where these people live. Is it an affluent area, young people, retirees, young family etc..
- The best time to make the phone calls.
- Your target area will influence how you are going to promote SFI and what and how you will say what you are going to say - language
- Prepare a script and learn it so that you don't come across as reading but genuinely believe on what you are saying.
- Never be rude or be involved with an argument on the phone with a person you have called. Never take 'No' as a personal affront - move onto the next person to call.
