Here is what could be done to make SFI more exciting, fun, and most of all, profitable.

Obviously, it is hugely important to acknowledge any achievements within your group, and the more of these there are, the better. It's also equally important to be able to pass down business strategies that are working for you. If you are effective at advertising, and get 5 or 10 sign ups in a day, can you imagine if how to do that was passed on downline! If you advertise and get $500 in sales in a week, think what your excitement and willingness to teach them how to do the same would do for your organization. Let's say someone in your downline is successful at a certain type of promotion, pass that around. For that matter, even if the idea comes from crossline and is useful, share it. Soak up every dynamic idea you come across for building the business, and pass those on. That will make the business fun, exciting and most of all, profitable for everyone.

Now let's say someone in your organization sponsors a new ECA. What would happen if the whole organization got behind that new ECA and promoted their products? If you knew your team would help make a new ECA successful, that could help a lot in your recruiting efforts. If you are aware that you have a powerful team supporting you, that should motivate every team member and make your time and theirs in SFI very exhilarating.

One thing cemented that SFI is the real deal for me. Last January SFI introduced the new Fast Track program along with NMP packs. By allowing new affiliates to buy 5 NMP in the first ten days, we started having a slew of affiliates qualifying for TL Platinum within two weeks of signing up, and even one made TL Diamond within three weeks. Most, if not all, of these people fell back several levels on the second month. In essence, TL Status had been purchased for as little as $136.50, but none of them had active teams behind them to support their status. The recent (Effective January 1, 2016) additional requirement of having active personally sponsored team members at EA2 or higher will eliminate the ability to purchase rank, and will restore respect to anyone achieving rank. This convinced me beyond all doubt that the corporation has our best interests in mind, as well as the long term survival of the business. The only way to achieve rank in this business should be to earn it, and the new rules make it so. TL status is the real deal!

This eventually happens to all of us. It certainly helps if somewhere along the line you have established communication with them so that you know a little about what their situation is. If you are monitoring closely, you will notice immediately when someone drops off, and stops logging on. A simple card telling them you missed them, and asking if there is any way you can help them get active again, can sometimes help.

Your affiliates are human beings, and things happen in their lives that frequently cause them to lose focus. That is one of the main reasons so many people are where they are at in the first place. We are not bosses holding their feet to the fire, so to speak, but we are trying to help them to stay focused long enough to succeed at this business.

Affiliates frequently get the feeling they are spinning their wheels, and not making any progress. I think sometimes it's a problem of having a huge, but distant goal, but not having a specific interim goal for the next week or month. Measured against a long term dream, any accomplishments will often seem insignificant. An interim goal might be to sponsor one active business, then it's a matter of numbers, how many affiliates do they need to go through to find an active one.

I think any time an affiliate sits in a particular position without some measurable level of success, the negative winds of doubt will start blowing. If they are not really doing anything in the business aside from the initial training, they will tend to fizzle out pretty quickly. This is one reason an awesome sponsor will usually make sure that each active downline will receive some affiliates to work with. A lot of affiliates have a challenge sponsoring people and building a team, and if they are struggling with that, their attitude can quickly go south.

Most of all, we want to make the business seem simple and straight forward (logical). If we convey that in all our communications, we can often clear the air of confusion from the very start. We want to get them moving in the right direction. We may think that if they score 1000 VP or more right off the bat, that they are going to be a leader, but that is often not the case. They need a sense of progress or they will eventually call it quits.

What would I do differently if I started all over again knowing what I know now? I would:
1) Reach TL Platinum in the first 2 weeks - that wasn't even possible when I joined
2) Start in on the Auctions and games - it took three months for me to try them
3) I would start out right away purchasing PSAs (Minimum 50 per month)
4) I would develop my promotional website quicker so that I no longer had to buy PSAs
5) I would jump into the Forum conversations right away (It took me almost six months to get into them)
6) I would make sure I had at least one new active PSA line each and every month duplicating what I am doing

Stream is an exceptionally effective way of communicating with your active downline affiliates. You should realize, however, that if the affiliate is not engaged in the business, or logging in on a regular basis, they will never see your messages. One thing having regular Stream notes definitely does is it shows your active downline people that you are also working the business. This is a very important thing to communicate, and the Stream probably does that better than anything else.

As you build your business, you are undoubtedly encountering situations, questions or observations that can be valuable to your team. The Stream is a great way of passing all of that information on in a condensed form. It's also a great forum to acknowledge the people in your business. If you are providing valuable insights, or motivation to your team, they will become avid readers of your messages.

As far as how often to post, although you can only earn 3 VP/week with your posts, I recommend that you post something every single day. Make it a habit. If you skip days, it is amazing how easy it is to forget to post for a week or more. We are creatures of habit, so I teach to establish that habit from the start, even before the affiliate has any downline that their messages are ostensibly addressed to.

The Quickest way from affiliate all the way to Diamond team leader is as follows:

1) Dive in and learn everything you can up front about the business.

2) Determine that you are going to make this work no matter what else happens

3) Achieve EA, EA2 and Gold Fast Track your first ten days in the business (This implies getting on standing order)

4) Start advertising so that you can teach your team how to do that effectively (The implies setting up a blog or website to promote the business. Advertise for PSAs, ECAs and customers. You want them all.)

5) Start with ordering 100 or more new PSAs per month looking for people as determined as you are to build this business. Expect one or two leaders to pop up each month.

6) Build your leaders, reassigning PSAs and CSAs to the strongest of the strong

7) Shoot for the E365 Championship for your group.

8) Recruit one to two ECAs per month and work with them to see that they are successful

9) Buy whatever you buy from TripleClicks (be your own best customer)

10) Become an ECA. Find a niche and fill it. Learn what it takes to be a successful ECA. This is part of the business too.

11) Celebrate the success of your team. Let each person know that they are a valuable part of your team.

12) Make sure your group is aware of all the changes happening in SFI and TripleClicks

13) Be a Forum Guru

14) Cultivate designated diamonds.

15) Tune into both your upline and downline affiliates for what is happening in the business. Let your upline feed off your motivation. It will motivate them, and in turn they will bend over backward to see that you are successful.

You are given a wide variety of ways to communicate with your downline team in SFI. One important thing to consider is what do you communicate in order to be effective. You can offer incentives and contests. You can tell them about the latest changes in TripleClicks and how that affects them. You can send them short motivational stories or video clips. You announce the latest contest, auction and game winners on your team. You can also acknowledge all those who are moving on in the business. You can even include a short biography about some of the people in your business. You want your team to develop a sense of community.

One extremely powerful tool in your communication arsenal is your Genealogy. This allows you to communicate with the whole group, or select individuals in your group, with messages specific to them. This can allow you to address both the active and inactive team members at the same time, or to separate out which ones you want to communicate with.

Another way I particularly like is the Stream. You can use this to contact all your active downline affiliates with useful tips and short motivational messages. It is also a good way to acknowledge those achievers in your business.

A really handy way to communicate is using the E-Cards that SFI provides. These are designed for very short messages to help you build a relationship with your team. They are also designed to reflect a little bit of your personality, making the business more human.

You also can tell if your downline affiliates are online, so you can try to engage them in conversation. This can be very effective. People want to connect with the human side of the business, and this part of you comes out best in these two-way conversations.

You should start out with an E-Card greeting followed up by simplified email instructions on building the business. You often can send email letters to them detailing exactly what they need to do to get to the next level in the business. You can reward affiliates for achieving certain levels in the business like 1000 VP, EA, EA2 and above. The most important thing is to show that you genuinely care about them and their business, and that you want them to succeed.

Any and all of these communication methods should be used to communicate. Reserve your longer winded messages to emails.

If you are a brand new affiliate, and have $500 to invest in your business, here is what I suggest:

1) Get 125 TCredit standing Order - $36.25
2) Order 5 NMPs - $100
3) Do the exercises and go TL Gold or Platinum in two to three weeks - Free
4) Add 50 PSA Booster Pack from Proprofit to your Standing Order - $50

With that you will have spent $186.25 the first month. I don't suggest that you spend any more than that.

Your standing order will be $86.25 for each month thereafter. (125 TCredits + 50 PSA Booster Pack) The remaining balance of your investment, $313.75 will cover your standing order costs for the next 3.5 months. By that time, you should have built a large enough downline organization between the CSAs you receive and the PSAs you purchase to cover your monthly investment. If you continue for one year doing this, you should end up making over $200,000/year.

If you are already in the business, and are no longer able to purchase NMPs:

1) Get on standing order 125 TCredits + Proprofit 50 PSA Booster Pack - $86.25
2) That will leave you with $431.75, enough to cover almost six months of Standing Order.
