Running a business is a complex job. It needs creativity and constant adjustment to changing conditions. Even planes fly on autopilot only when circumstances are unlikely to change, never when taking off or landing. Yet, even then, close monitoring is essential.

Running your SFI business is very much like flying a plane. You have to be very well equipped with knowledge and skills to even try starting a business. Once you have decided to meet the challenge, start building it step by step,

What happens with those you sponsor is beyond your control. It is up to them to follow you or find other ways of running their business.

All you can do is teach by example, always be available for help/advice/support. Humor your team members, give all possible assistance, answer their questions to the best of your ability, inspire and motivate them to do the same.

Duplication is the best recipe for success you can provide them with. However, it takes much more than a recipe

The Standing Order is a convenience for every SFI Affiliate to maintain the SFI rank they wish. Once set up it ensures the automatic monthly delivery of the chosen product as well as the VP attached to it. If the latter are 1500 or more the affiliate is entitled to 100 bonus VP every month.

SO provides more time to devote to your essential task of building up a team, instead of focusing on accumulating VP for the respective SFI rank. SO facilitates getting bonuses, commissions and matching

Every business needs time, resources and encouragement to succeed. All these concern your life partner vitally. The key word is SHARE.

Building up your business until it gathers momentum is time-consuming, budget draining and patience trying. You take time away from your family. You use the family resources to lay the foundations of uncertain future income. You try the endurance of your most beloved.
So why not recruit them to be your most fervent supporter? You are expected to persuade

The secret is you must have a team to be a Team Leader.

After you have taken care of your EA/EA2 status, you have to recruit PRMs, or advertise for PSAs, or join SBuilder co-op to get some sign ups. This is a permanent concern as very few of them will start working hard right away. So out of considerable numbers there will be some and it’s your responsibility to teach them how to succeed.

Building up a team is no easy task. That is why you should focus on that, not on how

It is a scientific truth that when enough quantity is accumulated, this inevitably leads to change in quality. Hopefully a change for the better.

To apply this universal truth to SFI recruiting PSAs, you have to accumulate a considerable amount of newly signed affiliates to achieve a small number (experienced leaders confirm it’s about 1% that become active) of really good quality PSAs. Then it is your responsibility to assist them and lead the way to success for them. Remember, their

First, find out the reason why.
Then do your best to eliminate it.

This may seem simple but it needs a lot of effort at successful communication.

You must know what your PSAs need.It might be different from what you think they need.

So,ask them, make suggestions, try to guess their difficulties based on your experience with SFI. At the same time respect them and never intrude on their privacy.

Apply individual approach, make good use of your sense

Is it worthwhile to send individual welcome letters to new PSAs...or can I just send out group mailings?

It is essential to send individual welcome letters to new PSAs. Team Leaders have been provided with beautiful Welcome e-cards that are handy and easy to use.

What is more, constant communication is vital for both Team Leaders and new PSAs. If you add individual touch to your relations, you are likely to achieve better results. Personal attention is always a great way to get successful reciprocation. I am really fond of the tip e-cards which help to monitor each individual VP Ledger on
